I keep forgetting to ask. One of my abilities is Seize the Initiative. SRD wrote: Seize the Initiative (Su): Whenever you and your allies roll for initiative, you can grant one ally within 30 feet the ability to roll twice and take either result. This decision is made before results are revealed. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier. So my question is who would benefit from this ability most? I'm pretty open to suggestions right now.

As the memories come flooding back Shimmer finds herself rooted in place for a moment processing the events in her mind. The training she had received in the temple had not prepared her for this tragedy. The Wardstone destroyed, Kenabres probably overrun, Terendelev slain. The teachings she had didn't prepare her for this, leaving her to reason out what to do on her own. Despite her own offer to help she found herself holding back as the others began to move about, those able helping those who couldn't. Eyes settling on the grippli providing healing shimmer brings her hand up to her symbol of Iomedae and channels healing energy to those around her, feeling herself fill with the warmth of the Inheritor's power to send outward. Actions and OOC: Channel Energy: 1d6 ⇒ 2 If needed, here's a second Channel: 1d6 ⇒ 1 Shimmer would probably have weapons, armor and symbol on her. I doubt much else.

Shimmer found herself watching the opening of Armasse for the first time despite having lived in Kenabres since she awoke. In prior years she often found excuses not to attend the festival, spending time in the temple performing other duties. The difficulties she had relating to others often convinced her this was for the best, but this year Tebbon had finally convinced her to attend the festival and test the skills she had been learning. Having helped her don her armor earlier in the morning he had his own duties to handle leaving her alone to watch the opening ceremony. Glancing through the slits in her visor she examined the crowd around her. With so many people, many of them warriors, she felt the possible danger should tempers erupt. This was not a fear to her, but simply an outcome that she wished to avoid. Crowds like this often brought this concern to the forefront of her thoughts. Noticing little attention being paid to her, she risked lifting her visor to get a better view of the opening ceremony. The markings along her face could easily be mistaken for tattoos if not examined in detail and it afforded a better view. |
