male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

I'm still about, more or less. Once this week is over, I'll be back to my normal level of chaos and be around a bit more.

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

The halfling remains quiet as he watches the rear and flanks for further trouble.

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

"We should keep moving. Standing still in hostile territory is dangerous."

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

The bored halfling starts to search the bodies of the dead creatures while the others deal with the prisoner.

Perception 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

Ready when you are.

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

Scar just watches quietly, content to let others do the dirty work with the prisoner.

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

"Well, well, well, what have we here? Afraid someone is going to steal your precious bauble, are you? Or it is perhaps something more that we should know about?"

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

Perception 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

Scar looks around a bit confused, but nonetheless relieved. Despite his bravado, he had yet to really acquire the skill needed to survive a prolonged encounter when outnumbered. He goes over to where the interrogation is going on, and watches quietly. After a while, he speaks up, "The little crud probably doesn't have anything of value to say anyway," as he examines his morningstar intently.

Intimidate 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

I don't know what the problem is, but I'll just roll it here since it doesn't seem to want to post anything in the game thread.

1d20 ⇒ 9

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

For some reason, it's not letting me post on the game thread.

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

Switching to his morningstar, the halfling scowls as he goes to work on the things attacking him.

Morningstar attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

The halfling lets loose an arrow at the same target at caster.

attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
damage 1d6 ⇒ 1

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

Initiative 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

Scar stands by, ready and waiting orders.

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

Scar has his longbow out as well as he watches the area around them.

Perception 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

"Lovely weather here, isn't it? Perfect place to set up a summer cottage." Scar comments sarcastically on this and similar veins as they plunge in to the wasteland.

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

That works for me.

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

Scar would be somewhere in the middle of the party.

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

Sgt. Scar is ready to go.

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

Same things happening with me regarding the new post numbers. It's annoying, but I've gotten used to it. Hopefully, they can get it fixed fairly soon.

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

I'll be here and ready to play whenever he is able to get on. If real life hasn't knocked me off the boards yet, the chances of me disappearing are not high at this point.

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

I wasn't sure who all made it into this group, so wasn't sure what we had as far as rank structure.

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

Scar could probably multiclass as bard or one it's archetypes if we need the healing magic. He wouldn't make that great of a cleric, I'm afraid.

"I suspect that moving through that accursed land in any direction is going to be a challenge. I don't imagine that maintaining a more or less straight direction would be harder than a zigzag."

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

Scar was just glad to be out in the field, where he could ignore anything but the mission in front of him. Never one who liked to deal with anything other than the immediate present, he simply snapped a "Yes, Sir," and turned to the commander of the squad for further orders.

Sounds good. I'd love to play in the Xen'drik game also, but I just started running two games of RotRL, and I don't want to overstretch myself.

Mournlands.

Scar wasn't built for the Mournlands as much as he was built for a military company style campaign. I would imagine the Xendrik campaign to be a more traditional style party where Scar's basic backstory and personality would have a difficult time working as well. For that one, I would be more likely to import the character I made in nightflier's homebrew recruitment thread, a dwarven druid who has just "retired" from his first career and is ready to start a second one.

I as a player am open to either campaign, but Scar as a character was definitely built for the Sellswords campaign, and I would want to create a different character for the Xendrik campaign.

Just so I can keep things straight, who is in each role? I know Scar is sergeant, but didn't catch the others.

Scar will be content to whip the maggots in this game into shape. Xendrik is cool, but I'll let others have a shot at it before I apply for it.

Scar applying for the sergeant position.

Soggy waits quietly for everyone to catch up, too used to this life for it to really phase him much. There's always someone who thinks they're king. If the bosun is this bad, I can't wait to meet the captain. He must be a real charmer.

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

Knowledge (nature) 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

Soggy shakes his head as he slowly wakes up, wondering not for the first time why people kept insisting on calling it Besmera's "blessing" when most of the time it seemed to come into play, it was usually not even remotely beneficial to his health and well being. Not exactly eager to meet someone who was desperate enough in his search for crew that he had to resort to sleep poison, and annoyed at being yelled at as if the after effects were somehow his fault, he none the less manages to play along and do what was asked of him with no fuss. While he knew he could resist if he needed to, even without his gear, he felt like keeping that little detail to himself until he knew the details of his situation.

male Halfling Unbreakable Fighter 1

Soggy here. Looking forward to a fun game. A bit about myself. I'm 31 year old currently trying to find something that might simulate a permanent job. I discovered roleplaying games in college and have been enjoying them ever since. I currently run a few games of my own so I'm not going to be disappearing any time soon.

Congrats to those who made, and enjoy the game.

A small, plain looking gnome slips into the bar and orders a light ale before settling down in a corner to watch the festivities.

Wow, I wish you the best of luck in narrowing that field down. That is a lot of really good submissions.

Sunshadow21 here with Soggy, a gnome aquatic druid.
