The rogue falls on top of his rat opponent, driving his blade through it, before succumbing to his own wounds... Rats had my number. Hit me every round for pretty much max damage. Shiv was at 0 hitpoints and now is at -1 because he attacked. I was assuming that he had nowhere to escape too.

He hands the bagged up loot to whomever wishes to carry it, "Let's move on." If no one else volunteers then he will carry it. We continue by moving down the stairs since that is the only way to go. The rogue gives the entire side passage a skeptical look, "This seemin' outta place ta any a ya? Yah, that's what I was thinkin' too." Seeing as we're in no rush he takes a 20 to search for traps leading up to and including the amphora. Gives him a 30 perception for traps (29 for everything else).

Despite his words, from the rogues tone and demeanor, Salt can surmise that Shiv is not liking the gabbing any more than he is and would back him up should he start demanding we get moving.

He holds up a hand to halt everyone as he kneels to carefully remove the wire from the anchoring opposite wall and re-anchor it on the same wall it originates from, careful to keep the same tension on it the entire time. "Could just step o'er it but if I left it alone y'all probably blunder through it anyways." After finishing he inspects and listens at the door before opening it. Disable traps: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25

The rogue spits out some black chew, just to watch it fall, as people cross to the platform. Once a couple are across he grunts his satisfaction and hauls himself back through the trapdoor. While lighting a hooded lantern he comments to those below him, "Dark up here, gonna scout some. Follow er not, as ya like." He'll search for traps as he goes down the passage.

The rogue reappears and signals that the others should cross, "Watch yer steps 'cause it's a long ways down. I think if ya fell yah'd pretty much decorate tha whole landin' down there." He fastens his second story harness to the hook in the ceiling before taking a length of rope and slipping something from his finger onto it and knotting the end. He tosses the knotted end of the rope to everyone on the landing, "Salt, ya best use that cause yer wearin' all that metal. It's like to weigh ya down. Not sure how sturdy their lil rope bridge is gonna be fer a big fella like yerself." Their on the end of the rope is his Ring of Featherfall for any who wish to make use of it. El suddenly comes to the realization he was never in any danger...

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26 Looking for some way to continue off the platform he quickly takes note of something on the ceiling, "Eh, what's this? Looks like a bolt hole in tha ceilin'" He pulls himself up to listen for anybody setting up an ambush on the other side. He makes a sign to stay put and be quiet to the others as he lifts himself.

After saying this he pauses thoughtful and directs a question at the Tower Girls, "Come ta think o' it. How you lasses get out here and back anyways?"

He settles down to tear off a well cooked thigh of a donkey rat while the others try an pry info out of their captives. Grease running down his chin, "Hey Salt, you want a slab o' rat?"

EDIT: Damn, forgot that you move at half speed with acrobatics. Does it take 15' or 20' feet to move around that corner, Shisumo? If 20 than he'll forgo his attack to give Uraisa the space she needs to cast her spells.
