I was hoping for that actually... Give them a purpose other than war

Serass' body becomes grim, with tendrils as legs and three clawed hands, a cloak of coral is hanging on his back...He is an image of terror of the deep.

Rising from the deep, just as the the Caldera does, his anger rolling in just as the tide does. Twice the lord of the earth has stepped into his domain, both times he did not speak with Serass first. This is unacceptable.

Bringing his hands up, he calls the storms that he had given to the sky goddess, gathering their energy, he begins to forge a weapon from the heart of a storm and the strength of the tides. Its shape became that of a titanic hammer. Forging this weapon, which he dubs Zemetrasenie, with as much power as he dare to put into a single creation, he begins to move toward the Earth God's Domain, He creates massive beasts from the ocean currents to draw a chariot across the surface of the sea, in which he rides. He imparts this weapon with the power to make the earth crumble and rift, and create storm and tide.

Knowing that his creations are incapable of war with the land, for there they could not survive, as he reaches the coast, he alters a portion of the merfolk into a shape with legs, creating the first humans, the Zojak. These are all men, without compassion or humanity, they are beings of war. They are imparted with the knowledge of how to take food from the land and sea, and also how to craft trees into vessels that can be safe from the Earth God's wrath

I fully do not plan to wage a war on Cryrsanidun, I just plan to make my displeasure fully known and bring humans, (though right now they are only warlike to the earthen god)

Serass nods a single time...then winces as the Devine mandate tears through his soul.

the underwater currents are locked,tides now go in and out in a pattern. The ever-changing god grows angry.... His sea begins to grow dark and stormy.

The simi solid mass in front of him smiles and reaches out his hand and puts it in the ground. He holds it there for a second before pulling on something below the surface and bringing it near to the top. Next he shapes small mounds in the dirt before breathing out fire and light into the hole and punching the ground, forcing dozens, possibly hundreds of copies of the mound to appear along the ground.

He steps back admiring his creation seeing that it was good.
He turns to his water counterpart "well then,what do you think?"

Serass looks on silently, and then begins to shift some of the sea life.

Coral begins to flourish, scallops and fish begin to swim and swirl, the merfolk gather.

A pair of dragons, one as green as the earth god's emerald, the other shining silver begin to dance above the vent.

Serass's hands work invisibly in the ocean currents, bringing stone and other tiny particles together to form a large, white, blue and green surface, that begins to grow, tiny fractal pieces reflect purples, blues, greens, and even scintillating rainbows. The volcanic vent is now the center of a city of coral and marble. Fish swim through the open windows and doors, the Merfolk murmur in wonder.

Adjacent to the water king the water begins to bubble and glow before a face forms and begins to speak "hail oh lord of water the hot water burbles out in a familiar countinually amused tone, identifying the Column of water as being the flame of magic "I come in a show of solidarity after the others denounced your plan, if you will accept it, I come bearing a gift, call it a consolation prize, some warmth sustanence and light for your fish.... And whatever that thing is he says, his form becoming more defined as the conversation goes on, and at the end he is able to gesture at the Merfolk and shrug.

Looking at the boiling light, Serass nods idly. "THANK YOU GOD OF THE SUN AND FLAME, I ACCEPT YOUR GIFT, THE MERMISH FOLK WOULD DO WELL TO KNOW OF THE GLORY OF THE LIGHT ABOVE."

Serass begins to think of the ways that the Merfolk should live and advance, his lower half changing from a strong tail, to octopus legs...

And Aya was more mad you were insulting her and your own children. Think of it like another parent saying your child is incapable of learning but my weak child is so much better.

You were saying things that she believes are false. You insulted her when you said they couldn't learn when she had taught them so many things(Like any good mother who teaches her young), which you basically said was pointless Lots of points went to those things so she got angry.

out of character I totally understand. but as a fledgling god I am playing him as simpleminded and childish, his ideas are obviously better than yours.....in his own mind

and magnus, you have to make sure that Crystal is okay with it. Serass would likely accept it

Serass' mood darkens as the goddess of the sky grows angry. He had not meant to insult her. The god of fires had spurned him, and the last god wanted nothing to do with him, only to tinker within the earth.

The seas and waters began to flow and churn, becoming harsh and wild.

His hands worked to mold the first human but his anger overrides, since the others wanted nothing to do with it, it shall be made in my own image.

he gifts the upper torso of his creation with arms and a head, pearly white skin and long green hair, the lower half is given scintillating iridescent scales and a strong tail.

These creations are wild and free, but revere the dragons as their god-kings. Serass hides his presence from them, as if afraid that they too would revile him...

"I SPOKE ONLY THE TRUTH, LIFE WITHOUT FEAR, WITHOUT GROWTH, INSPIRES VERY LITTLE IN THE WAY OF STRUGGLE OR EVOLUTION, THE DRAGONS RULE THE WORLD, BUT THEIR ONLY SUBJECTS ARE FISH." Serass notes

Serass stares into the eyes of the alien being, not willing to back down from this battle of wills.

"THREE AGAINST ONE, CRYSTALLINE GOD, DO YOU WISH TO JOIN, OR WILL YOU OPPOSE US?"

THE DRAGONS ARE TOO STRONG FOR INVENTION, TOO WISE FOR EXPLORATION, TOO....FLAWLESS. I PROPOSE THAT WE CREATE AN EVER ENHANCING EXPLORING RACE. THEY WILL HAVE ONLY THE BARIST OF PHYSICAL PROTECTIONS BUT LIMITLESS ABILITY TO LEARN INVENT AND EXPAND." Serass intones with a dull roar of waves in his voice

Within the silvery plane, a bubble of blue begins to come into being....

The blue, as it grows in size, becomes larger and darker, until it is an infinite ocean, featureless and dark.

Serass returns to the true universe with a smug happiness.

He spreads his arms and beckons to the other three. I BELIEVE THAT THIS WORLD NEEDS TRULY INTELLIGENT LIFE, LET US JOIN IN THE CREATION OF THESE CREATURES

IF IT IS OF NO USE TO YOU THEN I SHALL KEEP MY GIFT FOR MYSELF, The god of the oceans is unhappy that not only was his gift rejected, but that the other god had made a similar substance. THIS WATER OF HEAT AND LIGHT SHALL BE DIFFERENT THAN YOUR CREATION, I SHALL IMBUE IT WITH THE SAME LIFE OF THE REST OF MY CREATIONS, AND SPREAD THEM THROUGHOUT MY DOMAIN.

Taking the strings and strands of hot, glowing water in his hands, he twists and squeezes, hundreds of long thin creatures land in the waters of the world and start to swim.

The blue god dissolves into a mist and shifts off of the Material Plane, where he begins to craft the first of the Elemental Planes

Serass's seas and lakes and oceans, his ponds and streams and marshes. Every drop of water upon the surface of the land shines and shimmers, The goddess of wind has combined the water and heat to accomplish evaporation, precipitation. The realm that Serass designates as his own seems to have melded with the sky and heat. Serass decides that he should give a gift to the other gods.

"MAGNUS, LORD OF THE EVERBURNING FLAME, I WISH TO GIFT TO YOU THE FLUIDITY OF WATER, SO THAT YOU MAY BLESS IT WITH THE HEAT AND LIGHT OF YOUR SUN.' The streams of blue liquid that fall up to Magnus and encircle his form change slowly, from blue to green, from green to yellow, from yellow to orange. The fluid gains viscosity with each color change, and accumulates heat as well. Lava, where water and fire are one

"CRYRSANIDUN, LORD OF THE BONES OF THE PLANET, I WISH TO COMBINE MY CREATIONS WITH YOURS, FLUIDITY AND ORDER, TOGETHER." Serass creates millions and millions of cylinders of water standing upright upon the ground, awaiting the crystalline god to give them order and solidity. Plant Life, where earth and water combine to become something more than either

AYA STORM, LADY OF THE SKIES, I WISH TO GIVE TO YOU THE BEAUTY AND MAJESTY OF THE SEAS, I WISH FOR YOUR SKY TO REFLECT MY OCEAN, SO THAT ALL WHOM ARE CREATED, PAST AND FUTURE, KNOW OF THE GLORY OF THE SKY AND SEA" Serass releases millions of drops from the seas, which float upwards, joining the microscopic amount that she had already taken from the sea, the atmosphere becomes a blue tint, and Aya's rain now has the capability for things such as hurricanes, hail, mist, and fog. Storms, Where water and sky are at their most frightening and beautiful, and the sky rolls and roils like the great oceans.

Serass waits, hoping that the gods will accept his gifts and embrace them.

As the bones of world are forged with perfection, the liquid of Serass' form creates an infinite amount of water, fresh and salty, liquid and solid.

The divots in the soil are filled with the water, creating vast oceans and tiny ponds, massive glaciers and deep marshes. Serass focuses his power and creates the life within the depths, fish, squid, crabs, sharks, and all other sea life spring forth from the darkest and thickest point.

Serass takes his form when the ocean teems with life. A fin sprouts between his newly formed shoulder blades, and a crest is upon his head, he has two humanoid legs and skin of deep cerulean, his eyes are the endless black of the depths of the ocean.

"I BLESS THE DRAGONS OF THE SEA WITH MASTERY OVER THE WAVES AND BREATH OF FATAL MIST. he says as he rises from the sea, standing in the void with the other gods he allows a single droplet of water to drip to his fingertip, and presses it to the wind goddess' palm.

"SERASS, LORD OF THE DEPTHS OF THE SEAS, I SHALL MAKE MY CITADEL BENEATH THE WAVES. THAT SHALL BE MY DOMAIN. DO ANY WISH TO CHALLENGE MY RIGHT?" he states and challenges as he watches the other gods and the entirety of the waters that he had just birthed, and the lives of the creatures he had created.

The liquid pool is attracted to the gravity of the crystal... Its shifting blue surface mimics the sapphire...

"A world.... Must be birthed." it sloshes

The chaos swirled and shifted, heaving as the explosion shook the universe.... As it started to settle and gain solidity a shifting spot continues to flow...

a pool of blackish blue began to manifest... A voice from within spoke...

"I am Serass" it hissed....

Theme: This sea god is both a life-giver and a death-bringer, the sea provides food for many peoples, and separates the continents, but is filled with danger and creatures that defy comprehension.

Description: This god is technically evil, and feared by many, mostly sailors, but is not one for indiscriminate slaughter. His fury can stir the ocean and destroy entire towns with the tidal waves it produces, but such a thing is done only rarely, and only when his anger is roused.

(Think Poseidon, only slightly evil tinged, kind of like how the Romans viewed him, as Neptune, but combined with Triton)

Serass is seen as a very large being, with oceanic features, such as wavelike hair and dark skin, though he often has fishlike traits, such as a shark fin, or octopus tentacles instead of legs.

The First thing that Serass will create is the Sea, and then Sailing and Fishing.

Luck was chosen for the Bloody Gentleman because it you need skill & luck for crime..

tbg is not exclusively criminal god, he's just /mostly/ worshipped by those that tiptoe that line...

its kind of how both thieves and rangers would both thank the night god but for different reasons...

he is a god of deceit and luck :) not just crime

I have many devious ideas that will mesh with and ruffle the feathers of a lot of peoples (I hope)

Suprisingly, I don't see anyone I wouldn't be able to work with... I see myself as a necessary evil, greed is a powerful motivator, and those who are not as powerful or successful as others benefit from the stealth and powers that the Bloody Gentleman bestows.

Though others may not like me very much....

I stand before the greatness and glory of the other gods and smile. I bow before their knowledge, for they are both moments and eons older than I. I was formed from the blood of a mortal, Birthed by the crime that was committed. I am the God of Trickery and Deceit, I am the source of greed and lies. I bestow luck to the footpads and assassins, and cheaters and gamblers alike. I am worshiped unknowingly by many and thanked profusely by more.

I may only hope that my luck holds and I am selected to be a true god.
