![]() I like the hinderances Septimilius has. Thanks for the reminder though that they are removable with xp. Another thing he can “lose” money on are charms to protect him against sorcery. i imagine them as rocks, wood, cheap metal, and bone too that ward against evil eyes, blood magic, etc. Of course they don’t work so he spends a good amount of his money convinced the next one will. Or maybe that they do provide a low level of protection (not in any game mechanic sense of course) but he is just unlucky enough to run into some intense situations. Good use of using medical treatments to divest him of coin too. ![]()

![]() Septimilius gave 7 luna to the temple. The pickpocket urchins took him for six luna. He also had to have his boots resoled. The soles were slowly separating at the forefoot. Each day the gap grew as he patrolled the estate (manor?). During his off-hours he found a cobbler and had his boots repaired. Not sure the cost of this. Since he has the poverty hinderance, I think a good way to reduce his available cash is by having him replace gear very often. Little things that add up. Plus giving generously to temples, maybe orphanages, hospitals, and the like. I don’t want him to be a gambler though. He’s too cautious (another hinderance) for that. ![]()

I could have rigged it above the door.” Is there a door to the building? Is there an out-house? If there’s a door, he’ll sit against it during his guard duty. If there’s no door, he’ll help Mirian put something in the thresh hold. During guard duty, he will amuse himself with balancing his mace in his palm, at least for awhile. He won’t sleep in his armor. Now for N2, since Agility and Fighting are equal, I’ll raise Fighting to d10. Sorry for my part in adding to the confusion. The character sheet appears to be fine, right? As for where the PCs are going next, Septimilius prefers Aquilonia; but a side-track along the way where they end up in Khitai is fine :) I know I wasn't keeping track of the treasure.
