Greetings one and all. It is my signal pleasure to announce the appointment of Edmund Murphy as the VL for Cork. He has been doing a fine job spreading the gospel of PFS along the south coast of the emerald isle and is another tremendous asset to the society here!

Welcome Ed!

The Pathfinder Organised Play March Special Event returns on 23rd March 2013 at our spiritual home, The Black Knight, Larne, kick off 10:30 a.m.

So we're back 1 full month after February's biggest ever games day where we hit 8 full tables for the first time and played late into the evening dealing with the darkest of vengeance!

So if you can make it on the 23rd we are just....dieing to see you! We are planning 2 sessions again though we will only have limited space in the evening slot. So let us know if you can come so we can prepare a suitably warm reception!

The planned adventures:

Morning:

Pathfinder Society Scenario #51: The City of Strangers—Part I: The Shadow Gambit

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st to 7th level characters (Tiers: 1–2, 3–4, and 6–7).

The Pathfinder Society sends you to Kaer Maga, the City of Strangers, where you are ordered to find a local Pathfinder associate who sent a strange letter to Venture-Captain Drandle Dreng in Absalom. When the local associate turns up dead and you find evidence linking his death to a mysterious organization called The Shadow Lodge, it's up to you to track them down and solve the man's murder.

Evening:

Pathfinder Society Scenario #29: The Devil We Know—Part I: Shipyard Rats

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st to 7th level characters (Tiers: 1–2, 3–4, and 6–7).

When simultaneous kidnappings of Pathfinder and Aspis Consortium agents rock Cassomir's Imperial Naval Shipyards, the Society orders you to join forces with hated Aspis agents to solve the mystery. Can you work together with the enemies of the Society to uncover the source of the kidnappings, or will you perish in the shipyards of Cassomir?

It is my pleasure to announce that Nina Hanzlikova has accepted the post of Venture Lieutenant for Dublin City, Ireland.

Nina has proven herself to be a central to the growth of the Society in Dublin and has run PFS threads at local conventions, clubs and societies, Traveling hundreds of miles to take the PFS message around Southern Ireland.

She tells me she is a theoretical physicist but is a proven asset to the Society in Ireland & I am delighted to have Dublin in such a safe pair of hands.

Hi all

Slightly delayed due to reasons beyond our control I am delighted to introduce Andrew Wilson as Ireland's first VL. Andrew has been my right hand man in making PFS play a reality around here. A man whose fearsome reputation as a GM is legendary and who holds the local record for the longest time ever spent running a PFS module!

Like me he will be spreading the word across all of Ireland's four provinces and he is based in Belfast, N.Ireland.

Welcome on board Venture /lɛfˈtɛnənt/. :-)

William.

To all the individuals who played for the first time or more experienced hands like Shallowsoul: Many, many thanks for making the event such great fun.

As we discussed if anyone has and questions or thoughts just put here or PM (or email ofc) me and I will come down and run a game or two for your groups.

Probably a dim question but with the 20th around the corner, I thought I'd just check.

Given that each session is 5 hours and they run 08:00 13:00 and 19:00 was wondering what are the logistics of making the 13:00 session if you play in the 08:00.

Is it scheduled to discourage 15 hours of PFS playing?

Travelling 3000 miles odd I want to minimise my chances of making a critical fumble at the booking stage!

Hot off the presses! On Sat 15th October from 10:30 to 5:00 there will be PFS games day at the Arkham Gaming Centre in Gleno Village, Northern Ireland.

New players welcome and the will be multiple tables offering the chance to take your First Steps in the Society.

I will also be attending Ireland's premier Gaming Convention GaelCon in Dublin over the Halloween weekend. If you are interested in getting into the PFS and maybe getting a couple of games in, I will be the one wearing the Pathfinder tee-shirt. Ask at the Arkham Gaming Centre stand!
