Yes, I'm permanently posting as the wrong character! And also a major tweaker of what I've written. :-)

If Krokolam doesn't fancy coming on this trip, perhaps he's staying behind to look after his various mounts -- they'd not be comfortable in a small boat anyway.

Hu5tru:
That's great -- thanks very much for this chance. I'll write up something for you the moment I get time. Lots of teaching today, but I hope to have some space this evening.

Hi Hu5tru,

Would you be interested in a male character that notionally has a major case of Hero Worship for Sandru, but not quite the intelligence to follow his rogueish path. Instead, he has great facility with a blade, relying on dexterity and panache, rather than brute force, and will probably ultimately follow a fighter's path towards a Duellist. In spite of all this, the actual trait he will have is Childhood Crush, but one that he himself sublimates in presentational terms into pure Hero Worship, to avoid any awkwardness, at least to start with, whilst he's still young...

Complicated, but I'd be happy to attempt to write such a scenario for you, if it appeals. :-)

Opening recruitment for yet another pbp please check out if your intrested Pool of Radiance Recruitment still continuing with this one just thought I'd let y'all know :)

I shall withdraw my barbarian suggestion from this campaign, not least because it looks like someone else is doing the same, but also because I do prefer to play a character from first level. I have suggested Melismar for the Pool of Radiance campaign, and hope you'll give him due consideration. Many thanks.

I have a Barbarian character I might be interested in playing, if that appeals. I'd have to modify him for 3rd level, but it would be possible.

Dotting for interest. Will be back with a character and interview soon, I hope.

I don't know whether those instructions were intended just for me, but they're very helpful, thank you.

Thanks very much for the reply -- that is very much the sort of thing that I'd be looking for, but rereading your instructions you reference rather a lot of books I've not yet got, so as you seem to have so much other interest, I think I'll bow out now. I'm tipping my hat into another ring which I think might be better suited to me. Thanks for your time.

The game would be played on the Paizo.com messageboards. I, as GM, would post the scene and characters would then post their reactions. Actions would then be sorted out in initiative order, then I would post a recap of what happened in that round. Play would continue until the conflict is resolved. Generally of you're available to post once a day, you should be fine.

This does sound the ideal game for me, I must say. If I'm honest, I have no experience of round-table gaming whatsoever, but a great deal of experience in PbP games that concentrate on character development, inter-character relationships, and dialogue. I've only recently been made aware of Pathfinder, all my other games having been D&D3/3.5 and rather having despaired when 4.0 came out, I'm delighted to discover the game I love is still, in effect, being played.

I should be grateful if you would contemplate letting me join up.

I would be really interested in playing a character in this game, but what exactly is it you mean by PbP game -- literally on a post by post basis, or all getting together online at the same time with maptools, or something -- sadly my real-time life does not lend itself to this format, though my "posting" rate can be very good otherwise (I'm in the UK, so time zones not favourable...).
