Sorry, still here, just smashed at work.

Satinder is distracted through the night and the following morning. She goes about the place, throught her routines, but her mind wanders.

When Faengrim changes his appearance, she simply blinks and continues on her path.

She mumbles in Kuru.

"Bloody shapers..!"

Satinder feels sluggish after the effect of the spell has worn off. She is intrigued, as the feeling of such pure energy rushing through her veins leaves her wanting more.

She snaps out of her thoughts as the captain bellows his order.
"You heard the captain! Uninjured to work, injured line up and let your wounds be inspected."
She looks around for someone in particular, and adds "Yes even you Timmy! A shallow cut can still prove fatal!"

Satinder's fury takes the upper hand, bolstered by her pain and stemming from fear the creature will once again squeeze the life out of her. She keeps going, relentlessly, and her face is ashen as she strikes, again and again.

I am correct in assuming I can attack the vine holding me?

Satinder tries to use her blade to slice at the vine holding her, above her head. She is mildly succesful, not being able to use her hips limits her range of movements.

"MAGE!" she cries out in reflexive anger as a glass vial ziffs past her face.

Satinder curses as the bow does little to no damage. She starts thinking, even as the crew member comes up with the idea of flaming arrows.

Satinder tries to get into a position with the half-shark so she can abuse her fighting style and tear long gashes into the aquatic mongrels. It's tricky though, fighting a foe in their element, while being out of yours.

I assume I cannot get to anything in the canopy? If so, I would go after the captain first.

Satinder curses as she sees the crewmen being dragged up, and stares at the vines as if goading them to drag her up to. The foolishness of this action becomes clear quite quickly, after which she takes a deep breath and jumps into the water at the closest apparent enemy.
She hears a fireball behind her, and grins at the dwarf's latest trick.

Something in the water.. Well, are you in for a surprise.

Satinder readies herself, and grabs her new favorite weapon. She checks to see if her potions are within arms' reach, and prepares to be either pulled under, or tossed into the air.

"Master Goldforge, perhaps something to aid the captain?" she smilingly says as she sees the wizard conjure runes onto his being.

"It would seem it is wise to have more than one ship sailing these seas under our flag, captain. However, we must be sure they are commited to our cause. Not too long ago, we ourselves took the opportunity to take over a ship with a skeleton crew..."

Satinder cleans her new blade and notices it does not become dull.

When there is word of a name for the fleet, Satinder thinks briefly, before uttering: "The Vengeful ..."
Shen then snaps out of it, and explains a bit more...
"We could have every ship that sails under our idea, under our flag, have it's name start with Vengeful. This way we do not lose some of its grandeur and fame from before, but everyone will immediately know where its allegiance lies..
And our own name clearly marks us as the flag ship!"

Satinder sees the man go down, and chooses not to step between the hunter and the prey. There is something very bestial about Faengrim, and she does not completely feel at ease around him, especially in combat.

Handy to have around, but what if his other side takes over?

She then climbers up the stairs, cutting everyone down that's in her way if they resist. Once up there, she nods at the captain, and stands on the railing to the lower deck.

"YOUR CAPTAIN IS DEFEATED AND LIES DEAD AT OUR FEET!!" she hollers at the top of her voice, making sure everyone heard her.

She continues; "This ship now belongs to captain Chumtooth of the Kiss of Vengeance! Stand down and listen to our offer, or be slaughtered like cattle and thrown overboard!!"

Shen then nods to Faengrim and Chum, indicating them to do their part in intimidating the crowd.

Satinder growls as the kick impacts her torso, knocking the wind out of her. She settles herself, and decides that it is time to slice and dice this annoying captain.

Satinder steps in, walking carefully across the boards, but finding herself having to stand on them while fighting. She tries to keep it more on the defensive, as she would not like to get hit while on the boards.

This would be so much easier with him on the ground...

A few moments before the impact, Satinder launches a volley of arrows from her shortbow, as much intended to harm as to harrass the other ship in keeping their head down.

Satinder braces for impact as the two vessels crash into eachother, and lets out a terrifying howl in echo with the captain.
She readies her blade, and follows the others, looking for a strategic point to strike.

Satinder's eyes lit up upon seeing the loot of the captain they have vanquished.
She looks at the other, and is quick to speak out and take the rapier.
"None of you fools would even know how to use this properly," she simply states, before swiping the blade left and right and carressing the sea serpent.

"Many will fall before this, I swear it." she speaks more softly, and lets the blade taste her blood.
"Know... Your... Master..." she whispers, as the blade slices her lower arm.

As Satinder finally gets to the position she wants, she grins and distracts the leader so Chumtooth can get in the perfect strikes. As they land on her back, she uses the chance to drive her own blade deep into her shoulder, and twists.

"GIVE UP!"
She shouts the command, as forcefully as possible, but doesn't expect the the woman to listen.
She doesn't even want her to listen. This is war, and there will be no mercy!

I took "nimble moves" exactly for that reason, DM sir mister DM mi'lord. So if it's okay with you, I will step up 5FS in the last round, and now use my 5FS to sneak in behind the "leader"?
After my attack, for the record.

Satinder attacks the sailor viciously in the back, slicing across his back but he turns in time, causing a glancing blow.
She then slides in between the lady that seems to be giving the orders, and gets back-to-back with Faengrim.

"Faengrim, how come you are here? I thought you were our lookout on top?

Her blade strikes close to the man's heart, and the gurgles satisfy her inital bloodlust.

She creams loudly and strongly: "Who dares interupt my wedding night? You will PAAAAYYYYYY!! The captain will make short work of this!" before smearing some blood of her first victim on her face.

Don't really understand in what order the levels of the tower are going up/down, so I reckon I'll move (or double move) until I reach someone, and slice their throat.

Satinder's eyes open, slowly. She feels the warmth of the body next to her, and draws closer to it... As she feels the sleep draw her in once more, a part of her brain won't stop turning.

What woke me? It was... Some sort of.. EXPLOSION?!

She sits upright instantly, drawing the dagger that was hidden close to her. Her eyes scanning the surroundings she is pleased to see her door is still closed and nothing in the room seems to be disturbed.

Well, more disturbed than by the two of us.

She gets up, starts gearing up and then suddenly realises she is no longer single. She bends over her new wife and wakes her, firmly.

"I fear we are under attack. Get ready, and get your men ready!"
She then checks to see if she has any weapons, leaving one if necessary to defend herself, and slips into the hallway.
