Sardon is a fighter leaning to a tank/tripper style, who has been on several adventures (though not this one) and remains first level owing to an astonishing record of sessions not getting posted. Still, he's fun to play.

He does best in a party with one or two other melee fighters, but is adaptable enough to work with whatever group there is.

Shadow Lodge

This guy should be 2nd by now, but I have to check.

Apparently not.
Oh well.

Still good to go if the group needs a little muscle.

Shadow Lodge

Sounds like fun. Sardon steps up.

Dismissing the grease? Now that he's down, it may be hindering us by making flanking difficult more than him? Not sure. He's gonna get 3 AoOs if he tries to get up, though.
Distract: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Poison: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

Sardon takes another slash at the trog, and then moves quickly away from the swarm, moving around to Thaurux. (N NE E E) Hopefully we can pull his own swarm right back over him.

Next time you update the map, can we get the greased area?

Surprise round:

As the crocodile comes within his range, Sardon strikes. No messing around with trying to flip the croc over, he simply tries to take the thing out of the fight as quickly as possible.

Invisible Power Attack+Inspire Courage: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
Damage: 2d4 + 9 ⇒ (2, 2) + 9 = 13

First Ordinary round:

If the croc is down:
Sardon moves towards the trog, getting (hopefully) within striking range without getting into the grease. If possible, he takes a swipe at the creature's legs.

Trip+Inspire Courage: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19

If the croc is up:
Sardon takes another swing at the ornery bugger.

Power Attack+Inspire Courage: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Damage: 2d4 + 9 ⇒ (4, 1) + 9 = 14

If it's down now:
Sardon moves towards the trog, getting (hopefully) within striking range without getting into the grease.

If it's still up:
Sardon takes a step back (west), prepared to hack at the creature if it advances towards him.

AoO Power Attack+Inspire Courage: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Damage: 2d4 + 9 ⇒ (4, 1) + 9 = 14

Invisible:
Not to be a pest, but to save you looking it up yourself Here Invisible creatures are visually undetectable. An invisible creature gains a +2 bonus on attack rolls against sighted opponents, and ignores its opponents' Dexterity bonuses to AC (if any).

@ PCs (mostly) If I advance loudly, he'll know where I am, but not what I'm armed with, etc. Hopefully, he'll come out to play, and I can get some trip action going. That should give Naiyra the chance to get a sneak attack in, and allow me to get flanking going, as Thaurux (I keep thinking you're Thoreau [/need head examined]) and Mahasi swoop in for the kill. Thoughts?

Sardon takes advantage of his invisibility to scout around the top of the tower, peering into the western archway, avoiding the eastern side.

Giving the rope a tug to set the hook, Sardon stares at it for a moment, and then ties off this end. He contemplates the distance and the height, and decides to leave his armor on.

"I'll pull the rope tight and let it go, twice if all is well," he says, as the sorcerer begins to cast a spell on him.

Slowly he begins to pull himself up the rope.

Climb+4 with armor on means I'll make it no matter what (no autofail on a 1 with skill rolls.)

Reaching the top, he does his best to crawl over the rail quietly.

I was under the impression the stairs collapsed when we were there.

I'm willing to try a belayed approach if the GM says aye, but I'm not fond of reaching the top floor unarmored and alone, relying on my stealth. A DC 30 check tells me there's another way.

Cracks and such in the frog room's ceiling let water in. Any big enough to let Sardon in? Or could be expanded?

"बहुत धन्यवाद, मेरे दोस्त," Sardon says to the sorcerer.

"The only flaw in that plan is that this does require two hands to wield." Sardon holds up the heavy flail. It is a two handed weapon, sorry. "If you take the shield and one of the creature's clubs, that would work. Or we could switch places."

I'm perfectly happy to stand behind, but it might work better to switch places. I've got the better AC, and a +1 with the shield. Our best bet might be to actually both stick with our polearms, let me go ahead and trip, then you can move up, raging and power attacking and +4 to hit a prone foe and kill the s@%t out of things.

Sardon strikes a flame and lights the candle on his helmet, throwing a little light on the situation. Not knowing quite how silly he looks, he readies his guisarme and waits.
