Still around, my skill as a scout is mostly unneeded.
Illia teleports and Drisquar outpaces me by ten times my speed.

So as it stands Sanriel continues to shepherd his spiders and saunter along.

Male Siabrae (undead) Druid6Inquisitor1 HP: 73 AC26/10/26, F+9R+2W+13(Channel resist+4) Init+0, Tremorsense60, Low light, Darkvision 60, Perception+24 DR/10Adamantine and bludgeoning, Fire immunity

Poor ol' slow sanriel. First to move toward the combat and he doesn't even get there in time to do anything.

Sanriel glides up out of the cavern stones and looks to the downed giant.
" Well that would explain the tracks we found earlier, Delyliath would I be correct in assuming that the merchants are under your control? Unless we have other things to discuss I will call my allies again and we can move forward."

Male Siabrae (undead) Druid6Inquisitor1 HP: 73 AC26/10/26, F+9R+2W+13(Channel resist+4) Init+0, Tremorsense60, Low light, Darkvision 60, Perception+24 DR/10Adamantine and bludgeoning, Fire immunity

Far as i understand it sanriel needs to spend one more round of movement to get in reach.

The brown mold Rhemoraz is always a fun option if you want to make finding the beast more of a challenge than killing it.

So we are waiting on Remnant to get to a computer and do the Snaigres round then?

Being in solid stone I'd say I doubt it. But I imagine Anaxian would ride up on his Succubus mount and save the day were it the case.

Sanriel continues to move.

If we are going to be doing per round init then you really ought to grab the Init mods of everyone and do it as a GM roll. It works in a face to face game but frankly if we are only going to be posting every few days we are going to need some streamlining of things to make stuff like that work.

over 18. Fine with darker themes.
Drow city supposedly will be the place the caravan is leaving so figuring out what path it will take for decent ambush routes will be important.

Sanriel glides through the earth mostly ignoring to goings on above him. Though with the noises he was hearing ahead of him it sounded like someone and found whatever was ahead of them.

Sanriel is in range to talk but doesn't know what he is looking at yet. He still has a round or two of movement before he can see whatever it is.
Drisquetar is out of range for telepathy right now.
Sounds like our spider lady and our human are both on the ceiling. Anaxian is steepling his little dragon hands and thinking. Then you and Delyliath are talking with the caravan that now has a swarm of rats.

Sounds like unless Dris chooses to do soemthing this round the monster will move into my vision next round and I should still be in range of telepathy to let the rest of our group know the deal.

Although some of the spells either need correcting or removal. Chronal lance as an example. Auto-stagger magic missile with no real downsides really ought to not be a L1 spell.

The book is great though, I've used the Necrophage selections to great effect for my bad guys.

Also while we I have yet to reach it would I be correct in assuming that the monster Disqutar is examining is still headed in our direction?
Also on the same round is Sanriel still in close enough range of the caravan for communication with Illia? (100ft)

If not I'd imagine beating on this beastie would give the rest of the party a good enough answer.

Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S, M (a monkey’s paw)
Range close (25 ft. +5 ft./2 levels)
Effect 1 summoned swarm
Duration 1 round/level (D)
Saving Throw none and Will partial (see below); SR no
You summon a shadowy, quasi-real swarm of monkeys
(Pathfinder Bestiary 2). These creatures appear as a howling
mass of primates and flames, and the entire swarm is
burning for the duration of the spell. The illusory flames
cause no damage to the monkeys despite their screaming
and chattering. The swarm appears on your turn and
understands and obeys your commands.
The monkey swarm deals three-fifths (60%) of normal
damage to disbelievers, and non-damaging effects are
60% likely to work against disbelievers. The monkeys
attack as a normal monkey swarm but cause a further 1d6
hp fire damage in melee. The save DC for distraction is
increased to 18.
Characters within 30 ft. of the screaming swarm must
make a Will save each round or be confused (as the
condition). Once the saving throw is made, the character
is no longer susceptible to the confusion effects.

happy birthday Remnant.

Also, a question. As I've had the book burning a hole in my pocket since I got hold of it earlier this year would you permit me to grab some spells from the Kobold press Deep Magic book?
there are some really cool earth spells in there and I'd love to use them. One of them generating an ant lion trap in earth/stone with you at the center. Also another one which generates big ol'e pillars of earth to squish people into the ceiling with.

The book also has a spell for witches/wizards which summons a swarm of burning screaming monkeys. *looks at Jhaelwyn*
Not that anyone would have an interest in screaming burning monkeys around here though.

Unfortunately this became my one last thing this week. Sorry folks.

The pressure Sanriel had been giving off as he spoke seems to evaporate with the conversation pressing on. The druid looking to Jaduf for a few moments. " I shall save the explanations for another day Jaduf but with my abilities I wonder why you think I had not tried exactly that."
With that said the stone boned skeleton turns his attentions back to the bard. " I have few preferences, but the Travel songs of Desna remind me of home." The skeleton responds somewhat unhelpfully unsure of the bards repertoire. Taking a few coins out and placing them on the table next to him as he waits for his ordered meal. The coins themselves being an Orisani scarab of gold, three silvers minted in galt and several coppers bearing the jolly roger of the shackles.

BBEG Haha! adventurers you may have bested my defenses and spoiled my traps but my immunity to divination effects and invisibility will ensure my escape!

Cleric: Helping hand, please help the cheesey villian currently escaping.

BBEG GAH! No! bad hand!

Amusingly, any ally with the ability to pierce invisibility (see invisibility, true sight, invisibility purge) can also follow the hand instead of just you.
Far as I can tell the hands forward movement finding a creature is 100/round and it speeds up on finding the creature in question.

And yes that spell is shenanigans.

Male Siabrae (undead) Druid6Inquisitor1 HP: 73 AC26/10/26, F+9R+2W+13(Channel resist+4) Init+0, Tremorsense60, Low light, Darkvision 60, Perception+24 DR/10Adamantine and bludgeoning, Fire immunity

*shrug* all of these counter measures depend on the enemy in question being in an enclosed space or otherwise restricted in movement. Echolocation and other extrasensory abilities require you be within 30-60ft for it to work. Same deal with Anaxians fear aura.
Without knowing where the enemy is or restricting them to an area you can fill with an area of effect these ideas all fall flat.

Now manipulating the rules I do know one very easy answer.
Helping hand Which has no save, will automatically go to a creature you can define in the vaguest of terms and unerringly finds them.
But, you say that sounds quite divination-y doesn't it Sanriel?
Strangely enough Helping hand is Evocation. It is also one of the spells all of my high level characters keep in case of 'unfindable assassin' syndrome popping up.

Male Siabrae (undead) Druid6Inquisitor1 HP: 73 AC26/10/26, F+9R+2W+13(Channel resist+4) Init+0, Tremorsense60, Low light, Darkvision 60, Perception+24 DR/10Adamantine and bludgeoning, Fire immunity

The druid in question pauses for a few moments and considers.
"you are correct, her ignorance is undeserving my ire. Had I any intent to act on such things we would have issue. But I have made no moves from my chair, I have not raised my voice and I have given the young one information to fill her ignorance with. Both verbal and
not, were it my brothers she encountered she would already be dead. "

The druid responds in his unnaturally calm voice as he looks up to the rogue in question
" Frankly an unkind conversation is much more likely to be remembered than saccharine words it would be unkind of me to not impart knowledge in a memorable way."

it is interesting the ways you can turn a conversation if you frame it from the mind of a cruel, prideful religious figure. Should be an interesting conversation even if it does result in Sanriel being ejected from the bar.

"And rather than take those words as warning as one might a firepelts growl or serpents hiss you decide to prod the topic. Such arrogance I was young once as well though."
The skeletons gemstone eyes reflect little facing the human bard. Several uncomfortable seconds of silence pass before the skeleton deems to speak again. "So, rather than drag you into the stone to die with enough air to starve while insects eat your flesh like my less worldly brothers might I will explain. Put simply what you imply is a grievous insult. I do not know the writer you speak of but I would make my guess that he fled our land as many others. Were he to have actually been a name of import in the Coven of the green he would have known. In the area of land commonly known today as the Stonewilds there once stood a temple. the greatest temple to the true green faith before or after, and one of the greatest collections of Leylines on Golarion. It was in this font of power our apotheosis was made, abandoned by those cowards who dare to yet still call themselves followers of the green. The remainder of that circle made the decision to tap the sacred power of the earth below."
The druid states in a quiet voice as his gaze shifts to his own hand
"The power changed us and charged us with a duty from the land itself. To seek the corruption above and undo it, we chosen would not see rest or relief until that duty was complete. We could not die while on land still cursed"
The druid lectures as he removes what appears to be an old animal skin from his cloak, removing grime with a finger
"Were we demon possessed then in one day the fortress cities your civilization is so proud of holding those creatures at bay with would fall, and the world unmade. The peace granted by actions like ours shattered. So to say such an ignorant statement would incense one of my kin is a great understatement."

Vital strike was a thought. Unfortunately my stealth feat dampen presence ate two of my feat slots and verminfriend another one. Right now I don't even have natural spell.
So that will likely be my next feat unless I can find a spell or item to work in place of one or the other.
Well that and just buffing with strongjaw using the ooze trick ought to be suffice.

Echolocation being a L4 spell is out of my selection range currently. I have one level of Inquisitor delaying my spell access unfortunately. Benifit is that I qualify for shaping focus with that and will be able to access Ooze shape in one level rather than 3. Carnivorous crystal ooze is ridiculous even without much of its abilities.

Bats are nice, seems to be the entire purpose of summon minor monster. find the invisible thing bats!

Hopefully one of them is the pet and the other is a hungry predator so we can play the death of one off on the other. Or I dunno, wait for the succubus's mind powers to finish with the traders and watch as they walk off to do her bidding.

If the things in question happen to be animal, vermin or undead of either of the two above Sanriel will just make friends with it and have it join the Spid-al wave.

@tiny creature discussion. And yet one more reason for Sanriels prefers beast shapes to be small or larger. Dexterity is one of those things he just does not possess.

@mindblank
Excepting those with the ability as a Racial trait anyone with magic is likely going to have heard of mindblank. That sort of universal protection from a certain type of abilities would be one of the things talked about quite often. More so if they happen to want to silence an uppity diviner about 'Knowing all' in the same way True sight neuters illusionists.
I find the spell a decrept hold over from the previous edition myself. utterly necessary for any and all high level players which only tells me that it is much more powerful than it ought to be.
But at least it isn't polymorph any object.

And I'm wondering how long in game it takes before the situation with the traders destabilizes and we have to kill them once they get angry with us for murdering their 'pet' monster.

Male Siabrae (undead) Druid6Inquisitor1 HP: 73 AC26/10/26, F+9R+2W+13(Channel resist+4) Init+0, Tremorsense60, Low light, Darkvision 60, Perception+24 DR/10Adamantine and bludgeoning, Fire immunity

With a intentionally large movement for the benefit of his spiders the druid indicates a need for stealth pointing in the direction of the Larger thing they had indicated hearing. The skeleton pauses for a few seconds to dash out a quick note and passing it to his monkey companion. "Take that to the dead dragonling, or one of the drow. Spider or non-spider matters little" He commands as he dips into the stone and moves at great speed in silence.
Sanirel is making full round run actions using the stone to maintain stealth in order to catch up to the large thing before it catches up to the caravan. only 80ft a round though. Sanriel is many things but speed he is not.

The monkey scampers toward the indiviuals in question offering the message with only a slight tremor of concern being an object of interest to being so much more powerful.

Monkey note whoever picks it up.:

The note written on stained cloth with a dark ichor of indeterminate nature reads thus.
New arrivals, behind and ahead of the caravan. Ahead larger, going to investigate w spiders. Pass on to others in an unobtrusive manner if possible.

Yep, letting the social tank do her thing. If they turn out to be threats we kill them and/or do unspeakable things to them/their corpses. And if they turn out to not be threats? eh. I'd give fifty fifty odds on the same or it being too much trouble and moving on the next thing to MAIMMURDERKILL.

Also, kind of displeased by the most recent FAQ update from Paizo. Lots of fun tricks for Martial types just closed.

First of all player to player.

Siabrae are monsters from the Worldwound far as I can tell they don't have much on the hows and whys of the ritual they participated in to become that way. Mostly because crunch wise Siabrae have intelligence but they are not supposed to give the players any reason to pause in murdering them. (well outside of the whole'can't be kileld on blighted ground' thing.) They seem to serve the standard 'Corrupted savior' motif to present the players a chance to see how far the corruption of the abyss can go.

fluff wise that template and a one sentence bar in the wiki ( Here) is basically the whole cloth of the concept far as I can tell. So I am taking some liberties with their creation until I find more information but it is entirely possible that your assertion is in fact correct.

Pure theory I would assert that Cyth'vog or whatever the demon prince of slime and corruption in pathfinder is called would have my bet for being the progenitor of the Siabrae. But I'm not holding my breath on further information showing up, Siabrae are heavily tied to the world wound so unless they choose to return there at some point I an't see it happening.

Character to character

Much of the mentality I have built for the character of Sanriel is maintained around the Mental dissonance that he is a good man doing greater goods with lesser evils. He traffics with corrupted creatures to ensure the destruction of greater threats. So the idea that he could have ever been damned from the start and infected by demonic taint to begin with would imply that he has been serving as a hand for his greatest enemy.
True or not that sort of revelation being given enough proof would sever Sanriels faith in his cause and render his motive force as a character stilled.

Male Siabrae (undead) Druid6Inquisitor1 HP: 73 AC26/10/26, F+9R+2W+13(Channel resist+4) Init+0, Tremorsense60, Low light, Darkvision 60, Perception+24 DR/10Adamantine and bludgeoning, Fire immunity

Aebin is sitting in the same room as Sanriel. Unless you moved to a different room and placed several feet of material in between Sanriel heard you. as the lowest he can possibly roll on perception is 25 and the DC to hear a whispered concersation is 15+ 1/10ft distance.

Nightfalcon: Siabrae:

to be honest your first impression that this creature is some manner of lich. The skeletal appearance and stone body is new but being an intelligent undead its either that or a skeletal champion. However your knowledge of history and tidbits from some other bardic friends who travel closer to that area would give you a much better understanding of things. There is one place that has legends of creatures like the one you look at now, the world wound. Formerly the Kellid nation of Sarkosis that fell to the depredation of demons. The nation was famous for its druidic population and there are many legends of the Arch-druid who stayed in that doomed place, calling all others who might abandon their great temples traitors. Years later the first appearances of Stone boned skeletal casters trickled through the ranks of the first crusaders. They are Refereed to as Siabrae, undead druids who ceaselessly fight the demons of the world wound for control of their sacred lands. They are assuredly monsters as much as the demons though, undying horrors who can ghost through the earth as though it didn't exist. Immune to fire along with retaining their druidic power and extending those abilities to the dead as well as the living.
From what you've heard of them it seems exceptionally strange one of them would be outside the Worldwound.

There is a beat as the wood groans on the bar, Sanriel looks down and releases the grip he had on the surface a few new dents added to the wood. The skeleton sighs and looks to Davi "My apologies, for the damage. I will repair it given a few moments to summon the power. I thought I heard a dire insult against me, the likes of which might inspire me to circumvent the hospitality this fine establishment grants to inflict a creatively slow death on the wielder of such slander."
The skeleton states with a patient slowness to his words, a rising aura of danger coming off the skeleton
" Fortunately for such a hypothetical person that was not the case and as such I am not required to act in a way contrary to a guest ought. Is that not fortunate?" With that said the oppressive aura that seemed to be flowing off the druid like fog vanishes.
"As for your offer of food, while I am able to smell the magic that sustains the ability does not do much for detecting flavors. Never minding the fact that were I to attempt to consume soup it would end up on your floor. I can change that though for a small time were you to truly believe I 'must' try such things. Though in such a case I would also desire something to follow it. A dessert of a sort, perhaps something with mint?"
The druid replies with a twist of his head near the end of his words. there was absolutely no way he could have heard that though so perhaps the undead thing just likes mint?

Meanwhile

After having separated in a huff the unnamed monkey skeleton had clambered up a wall and began examining things. Careful to avoid damage but curious all the same, at least until it saw the fruit bowl through an opening to the kitchen. It glances about before cautiously reaching toward the fruit bowl with a skeletal hand. Seeking a rather plump looking plum
slight of hand?: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10 Probably some fair penalties as the equivalent for a human would be trying to 'palm' a pumpkin.

Hello cook, have a skeletal monkey thief to interact with.

"Or perhaps I discover that like the Tian fisherman or the Feyborn deer to probe too deeply into things I need not proves my downfall. The Stone druid states
"It can be said that since I was born and before that I carried a bit of Sarkosis with me. For all that it matters I am Sarkosis, memory that it is so it could be said it exists where I am." Sanriels monkey companion turns and seems to give him a look, saying noting audible.
" But I am waxing philosophical, regardless I promised to be a guest of merit you have nothing to fear of me today. As I said I seek rest and idle conversation today, and I have no interest to mix that with intrigue regardless the source." The druid follows unhelpfully, providing no real answers beyond what he had already said. Frustratingly it is difficult to tell if he is being roundabout on purpose or simply showing his age. The skeletal monkey makes a rude gesture before scampering off to examine the bar further.

Snese motive DC30:

Oh yes this skeleton is being indulging in one of the ancient pass times of the old and bored. Toying with the frenetic nature that the youthful live their lives. there is no bile hidden in his tone, he has no interest in this woman outside the sport of prodding her paranoia serves.

References Fisherman and deer:

Sanriel is referring to the Pathfinder equivalents of Urashima Taro as the Tian fisherman and Oisin whos name translated to young deer as the feyborn. old and well known folk tales that one who has traveled much of the world might know.

"I will use the fact that they have stopped and are occupied to move my arachnid allies past them and toward out goal." Sanriel says as he calls his horde together once more. Helpfully pointing the direction of the cart in question for the curious
"I will imagine that by the time I am finished your de-Delylath will have completed her interview. If they are simple travelers and they represent no danger of alerting our quarry with their absence then I care little for their fates. "I am a wanderkin of a kind small one, but just as a story has a hundred tellings to go a-viking* there are a hundred paths to travel for each destination. Hold fast to the path you take as you travel such roads, for if you do not you may find that the home your travel so far from gone. To live lost is not much a life at all." The gem eyed skeleton informs with a gravely tone.
"But, you do not ask me this so I will grant you three boons. First, know that the greatest blade you will ever wield is never made of steel. Second, Know that the glitter of far off gold has taken many a fool to the siren's grasp. And third, fear the words of old wise ones for they say much and tell you very little beyond how little you know."
With that the druids heavy gaze shifts to the inquisitive sorceress
"Suffice to say you have not heard of Sarkosis as it was destroyed long ago, but if I am fortunate in my quest perhaps you will hear tell of its beauty reborn in your lifetime. I know little of the particulars behind the gems I carry. They are foci for the ritual which recreated me as I am now, the only being who knows those secrets are the Grand Heirophant of my order. As for my seeing through them I suppose it is subjective in the end. Do I see through them or does my magic simply have me see from the eye sockets I once used for that same purpose, much as the reason my words comes from my mouth yet I have no lungs to carry them there."

* for those with knowledge of languages or the Ulfen culture.
This is an old ulfen term, it means to go raiding or to seek plunder. Much like an adventurer might seek treasure but with much more violent connotations.
In the real world it is also a norse term for the same thing.

I'm thinking a combination of you for foisting luggage on the bouncer and the bouncer for letting said luggage be foisted upon him.
Remember Davi was using Aebin as a chair at the moment.

sense motive: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (11) + 24 = 35
Sanriel looks at the human for a few moments, considering what he might share. If I share too little the human would likely press further, she has a look in her eye like one of my sisters did when they saw something shiny. Hrmm... how to phrase it.
The druid snaps at an idea and speaks
" Suffice to say that while they might be objects of beauty they are emblems of duty heavier than the mountain that birthed them. They represent the culmination of a ritual I participated in, that bound me to the duty of seeing the corruption of Sarkoris driven back into the pits." The druid states with a weary tone looking to the firelight again.
"Like many things born of natures extremes these partiuclar gems are best appreciated at distance. Like the tiger or the Wildfire the danger carried in them is as much the reason for their beauty as their natural form. As it is now though you are welcome to look while I will abide the hospitality of this place"

History DC17:
Sarkoris is the name of the Kellid city state that the worldwound spawned on top of.

Planes DC23:
From your remembering the place that the Worldwound opened was formerly called Sarkoris.

What, a druid against acts defiling nature? Nah, thats just crazy talk.
But if you can find an in game method to convince Sanriel your methods are sound then go right ahead.

Though just normal old animated undead and such Sanriel seems to be alright with what with the monkey he has.

I imagine you will find plenty of way to keep sanriel distracted from your pets.
Not that he can really do much about it due to the enforced truce of the group. If the rest of the party agrees that crafting abominations is a time honored and effective method of getting things done as a villian no number of Sanriels Druidic quibbles will change that.
Not that he won't try.

Hrmm... I really ought to actually write down the things Sanriel has. I know I had that list somewhere. Will need to consider a scroll pile myself with the inquisitor dip I also have options on that side as well.

I imagine Sanriel would be exceptionally happy were you to do so and die of strength damage. One less proverbial monkey on his back so to speak.

Though I do find that amusing The drow noble monster is written to have poison use, yet the template does not include it. then when they get turned into a giant spider they lose their ability with poison and somehow their weakness to light.
Freakin' drow man.

Were you to do so I imagine sanriel would sick it on you first which woukd require you curse its sudden but inevitable betrayal.

Mah, a missed throw of providence. Just think an alchemist with mini syringe spears would have a daily supply of bioshock plasmids. Though I imagine overdoses of various venoms ought to work well enough. Might even be able to fill up with the giant spider if you ask sanriel in a way that shows the benefits.

"And Jaduf is referred to as a compliment said far too late." Sanriel states with a half interested air " Not terribly far up the list on the 'times Jadus has been insulted in an amusing manner' list but still something to mark down for casual flair."

Sanriel nods satisfied that nothing seems strange or out of place in the cart, seeing the Human completing the same actions he moves on with a quick motion to the man
The druid slides into the stone moving directly under the earth Illia stands before speaking an inch below the ground at a whisper assuming the outsider capable of hearing.
ought not to be more than a DC20 auto success for Illia-
"The cart contains common fare. I am going to inform the others before they arrive themselves alter the situation."
with that Sanriel glides under the earth until he is far enough away to be undetected by the traders. Rising from the ground his remaining allies sanriel coughs once so as to be noticed before speaking and begins.
making this general so anyone who would like to have traveled to the traders by the time Sanriel returns can have easily done so.
"There is a pair of traders, Illia has begun speaking with them. Jaduf is investigating the cart they have, examining the cart myself shows nothing strange and Illia has yet to say anything. They seem to know the area and should know the most likely routes the Caravan we are searching for will take. They also seem highly motivated to sell as Illia teleported next to them and they tried to sell her things rather than shriek in surprise like a typical humanoid. I doubt they would react badly to our presence were we to reveal ourselves."

*sigh*
Dont make sanriel hate you out of game as well.
That said im kind of amused by the way sanriel has turned out so far.
Angry old druid with a veneer of civility isnt what I planned on but is likely easier to get along with in game with in the company of monsters long versed in politics. More so then a flawless speaker that panders to all parties and shows none of his actual motive at least.

I highly doubt sanriels searching will turn up much but paranoia demands at least checking.

illia-:
"My name is Sanriel, Illia, I am a coworker not a simpering sounding board to talk about boys and paint the nails of. Yes the caravan in question is leaving one of the cities and going to arrive in the other. Were I to make my guess the prize we seek is whatever was intended to tie these cities closer. I was told that the caravan would be leaving one of the cities and we were to intercept it but I do not believe I was told which city.Would you kindly ask if they have a reliable map of the tunnels and roads of this area, what to watch out for that sort of thing. I would do so my self but they are not speaking a language I know. I used magic to understand them but it does for me speaking the same. Also ask if they have ever heard of the creature I had over the back of my largest spider. A plant shape changer that draws people close with a humanoid form and enticing smell then devours them with tentacles and tooth. I am going to investigate these creatures wares while they are distracted with you, they seem a curious pair to be simple merchants even in the underdark. "

With that said Sanriel uses the ample distraction provided by Illia to investigate the merchants
caravan with his druidly wiles.

Sanriel sneaking:

Sanriel would earth glide under the cart and inspect it, if they are speaking he would listen in. (Langs=Common, Samsaran, Terran and Abyssal) If they are speaking in something he can't understand he would channel his racial ability (comprehend languages 1/day Samsaran) and move ahead of them placing his palm flat against the surface of the road as they were about to step there. In order to get an understanding.

"Hide, I will call you if needed." the druid states to his collection of spiders. "Now to go see what that is." The druid states as he sinks into the ground until nothing below his eye sockets show moving toward the noise.

EDIT:
Guess I probably ought to roll some dice here.
perception: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (16) + 24 = 40
stealth: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (2) + 21 = 23 wait, is there a point to that when I get total concealment and just have to pop my eyes out of the floor to see what I need to?

*sigh*

So on account of me misunderstanding that you all want to do me a favor and ignore the whole side bar on Darkfolk? That was wrong apparently.

@Remnant
I'd make the assumption that everybody else will follow after. combat resulting in teleporting outsiders and floor dwelling druids.

Don't suppose an aberrant venus fly trap shape shifter thing interests you?
out of game I'm honestly not too sure how getting that things cooperation is going to work but my internal barometer is leaning toward 'badly'

@Jhaelwyn Hrmm.. that does seem to be the case for the dungoneering roll. weird I read it to be a successful test that you somehow detect there are other dark folk in the area. like the perception checks were for detecting them in stealth and the knowledge was for figuring out what precisely they were.
but I guess I spaced the dead ones for that.

Well... that might require a rewrite somewhere as Sanriel has been referring to non-existent darkfolk for several posts now. Lovely.
