Thanks :) I successfully passed the exam this afternoon and thus signed in the book of the ministers, kept since the reform!

Thanks again, GM! And good "luck" (I don't what we say in english) for the proposal! In my french dialect, we'd simply say "tout de bon!" which means "I wish good things happen to you".

And I wish to all of you who ventured with me on this journey.

As we began this journey, I just became a dad and I'm now on the verge to pass my last exam meeting to become a consecrated minister in my (prebysterian) church in Switzerland.

"Yes that can't be the end of it... Oh! A nice staff!" he says, picking carelessly the staff of earth and stone.

Gudule seems fine and is ready to move on.

Saint Gudule approaches casually Barm, squinting his eyes to avoid the bright light.

"Wow, dude. Calm down, no need for such raw power!"

He casts a spell on Barm, trying his best.

Cure Critical wounds: 4d8 + 13 ⇒ (1, 2, 6, 8) + 13 = 30

Looking at Baied, he says "I'm not an expert but can't you channel healing or something like that?"

GM: Is there a way to know what could end the bright burning effect on the guys?

Fort save, good hope: 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 12 + 2 = 26

Saint Gudule protects his eyes from the sudden light. When the level of light comes back to normal, there's no change, except a whole bunch of Baieds. He frowns, then shrugs and walks towards the next room and raises a hand to summon heavenly fire.

"Burn! Burn!" he says.

Flame Strike, ref DC 23: 13d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 1, 2, 6, 2, 5, 3, 1, 1, 5, 4, 6) = 40

Saint Gudule shrugs as the Builder doesn't seem to be able to cast anything. He points at him with a finger.
"Here! NOW SUBMIT TO PROTEAN ARCHITECTURE!"

Pure Whimsy!: 1d100 ⇒ 73

As he points, a bead of fire shoots towards the builder, engulfing Gudule's friend as well!

Fire: 6d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 3, 2, 3, 3) = 18 Ref DC 24 for half (10+1/2 level+cha mod)

Saint Gudule raises a surprised eyebrow. "That's an unusual question, Builder. Pathfinders are a clan, not a kin. What race is best, you ask? Well, ask this question one thousand times and you'll get one thousand and one different answers."

Shifting appearance, Gudule smiles. "I was touched by chaos, a kin named Ganzi. My friend over there is a nagaji and you already met our humans and half-elf."

Gudule asks the pech: "So... what are we supposed to do now?"

I was waiting for the big guys to do their moves but let's bring some chaos down there!

Saint Gudule hears Regnum's weapon making a weird noise so he gets in, waving his arms in an erratic pattern.
"Streams of chaos, flood this world!"

Pure Whimsy on red: 1d100 ⇒ 6

"Okay, okay, no need to get angry!" says Gudule getting back on his disk.

But the others are on the ground, no? Or I didn't understand the situation?

Saint Gudule hops from his disk and follows along, thanking the good pech.

Knowledge Nature: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

"Ah! Skilled miners and stonemasons! I have heard of some tale about your kind, long ago."

He gladly shares any other things he knows to the group. meaning you can open the spoiler

Gudule scratches his head.
"Do you want us to have a conversation with your master? Is he still your master, by the way? And do you know what happened with this curse and what it is?"

Interested in the being, Saint Gudule looks deep in its eyes. He listens attentively to Baied's wisdom and knowledge.

"And say, master Eriniell, are you a vault keeper too? Or how did you discover that walking on this ground would anger Iluchtewhar?"

ooh! I forgot to level up Gudule! I'll try to do that tomorrow.

Saint Gudule thanks the creature and climbs on a disk.

"And what is your name?"

Saint Gudule gasps in awe before the mighty warriors he lives with.

haha but again, until the end of the scenario, right? ^^

Saint Gudule joins Trutzburg's whistle.
"Indeed... it is! Do you think we reached the spire's roots?"

"wow, that was a fun way to meet! Hold on, I must heal." Gudule says, before tapping himself with a wand.

CLW wand: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Analyzing the runes, he quickly declares they must be chaotic.

Spellcraft?: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (1) + 16 = 17

Saint Gudule has a good laugh when he sees what happens. It is clear to him though that he's not interested in joining the battle. Maybe he'll cast a spell once in a while, who knows?

Nodding at the protean's request, and looking at his companions to mâle sure they are ok with it, Saint Gudule closes his eyes, focusing on the portal. His appearance begins to shift again between various humanoid forms at a great speed, sometimes mixing races. The ganzi extends his arms towards the portal, trying to alter the very fabric of reality.

Pure whimsy it is!

What do you mean, Barm? You don't want Gudule to use his ability?

"I see! Your portal towards the maelstrom is jammed due to the inevitables' magic. Like your magical skull prevents them to teleport and planeshift." he declares.

Looking at the proteans, Saint Gudule asks genuinely:
"Is it intentional?"

Saint Gudule looks at the portal and shrugs.
"Maybe, maybe not. But if it involves fun, I'm in! Let's see it!" he declares.

"Can you fly us towards it? I forgot my wings at the inn..."

Looking at the creatures like a little boy choosing candy for his first time, Saint Gudule doesn't understand quickly that he is to answer.

"Why, law of course! It runs through my veins!" he says.

After changing appearance completely thanks to the alter self power I never use to look like them, he eventually turns back into his true form, a form his companions have never seen.

Gudule's face has one pale and pointy elven ear, while what appears like toes sprout from one his cheek. A deep scar runs on his green and scaled forehead while his chin bears a pink horn twisted on itself like a pig's tail. His left hand has red skin while his right hand bears a literal open cat-like eye.

"Naaaah! Just kidding! My name is Saint Gudule and I'm family!" he shouts, his arms open wide.

As unexpected as it is, the bridge starts off pretty standard, a single but solid sheet of stone supported from below with stony pillars sprouting from the cliff. However, as soon as the bridge reaches the middle of the room, it parts from its middle, twisting and braiding on itself, so as that only on foot can step on it.
Around the base of the bridge, stone arches to ensure safe passing through it.
On the side, stone flowers sprout as well to decorate the arches.

Proud of his work, Saint Gudule claps both hands together and smiles.

"Voiiiiilà!" he says.

English not being my mother tongue, it is a bit hard to come up with a detailed description :P

Barm and Regnum's question make Gudule snap out of his thoughts.

"Well, as a matter of fact, why fly when you can shape a bridge?" says Gudule with a smile. He stirs himself and says a few words and crouches to touch the ground with open palms.

@GM: Saint Gudule casts "Stone Shape" on the ground to shape a bridge. He can cast it more than once if needed.

Knowledge Planes: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

Gudule nods profusely.

"True, true! Yet, I don't know a lot about proteans, sadly. I only know their appearance on this plane cause ripples that may alter some unborn child. Then, there is ME. tadaaaa!" he explains, cheerfully.

"It was a priest of Sarenrae versed in the knowledge of outer planes and their influence on this one that explained that to me when I was young." he declares, with a sour face.

"A fine man. A good man." he concludes, looking away to hide a tear showing his the corner of his eyes.

Saint Gudule nods at Baied, barely containing himself not to laugh about how the situation is hilarious for him.

"And I guess their password may be 'in the name of chaos'?" he asks, a smile on the corner of his mouth.

Not really expecting an answer, he follows Barm and Regnum Mcblastface.

Gudule bites his lip to not interfere in the situation.

Sorry, I had couldn't post yesterday. But it makes the situation more entertaining. :D

That's the thing with these following modules that are funniest. Like... how about being tiny permanently or accepting the heart of a powerful lich... until the mighty powers of "next module" heals you back to normal ^^

I must say I'm sad Barm didn't accept the heart :D

"Where is raw eldritch power when you can wish for it?" says Gudule, sighing and looking genuinely sad.

"Well... Looks like I'll take prosperity, then."

Gudule lets Barm and Regnum get busy with the heart.
"Oooh that's a nice information! So his heart was in a golem? Interesting! Anything else we should know? Like... Can he come back to unlife? Nah, that's can't happen... Right? Right?"

Looking at the room, he strokes his chin.
"No offense, but hum... who are you?"

Saint Gudule squints his eyes.
"Nah, man, we already did!"

Opening his arms wide, he grins.
"What is our prize?"

Gudule shrugs and follows the others.
"What have we won? A special prize?" he says, eyes sparkling.

Gudule looks over Baied's shoulder and rubs his chin, casting the same spell.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (1) + 16 = 17

"Naah not important." he concludes.

Saint Gudule puts both hands on his hips and laughs loudly.
"Bwahahah! Nobody taunts mighty Gudule with his new powers from the CHAOS MAGIC!"

Turning towards the others, he quietly explains them how his journey into the chaotic fabric of magic MUST have made him more powerful. He surely feels a bit younger.

Ref save DC 19: 1d20 + 10 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 10 + 1 = 20

Saint Gudule dodges most of the acid and discovers that he's a bit acid-proof. that's the first time he actually takes acid damage :D

The ganzi scoffs and brushes dust from his clothes with the back of his hand and holds a fist in the air.

"You're done? NOW TASTE FIRE!" he shouts, as a column of divine fire descend from the ceiling.

oh, I was expecting the following of the dialogue but I'm ok with going on.

Once back towards his companions, Saint Gudule explains what happens and the task he accepted.

Can't wait to play that! :)

I had to search what "Age of Ash" was, since I didn't stuck for PF2 (all my non-PFS games switched to 5e instead).

I will take these rolls like that and not choose to age.

Saint Gudule nods and laughs.
"Maybe a bit of both! My body is partially immune to chaos, as I was born from the entropy corrupting my parents. But sure! I will put them to rest! Anything else? Can't I help you?"

haha nice! Actually, I don't know about ganzi's lifespan. However, when I made SG, I chose him to be 25 years old.

Saint Gudule continues his walks towards his destiny!

Saint Gudule smiles widely.
"Now we're talking, foul dungeon!" he shouts.

Walking towards the area of magic, he shouts exictedly:
"WILD MAGIC! SHEER CHAOS!"

And he tries to approach the area.

If he dies, he dies. That's the capstone for Gudule xD
