We are home for Thanksgiving!

... lacking sleep (feeding a literal "cry-baby" every two-hours, more or less ;P), but home!

Family coming over tomorrow, and my oldest boy will finally be back with his mommy and daddy and with his little brother all the time! WOOOOO~!

By the way, although I think I had assumed it was obvious, GM, please 'bot me. Use Rywokit to the full extent of his abilities and knowledge to help sort this stuff out, and generally do what's best for everybody: it's what he'd be doing anyway! Thanks!

I think it's a question of interpretation and order of events. Since Locke was suggesting a potentially much faster option, and you suggested that you just walk out before that idea had been resolved... I think it was interpreted that Rywy burned, maybe, a 5ft. path while Locke was talking about a rope thing and you and Allen walked out into the mold. It'd take Rywy something like 24 to 34 minutes to clear the room of the mold, though only eight minutes to make a line/path. I think the GM will be amenable to a slight retcon, but I'm not sure.

After reading your post, I went ahead and read the spoiler to understand. I'm not affected by non-lethal damage, disease, or poison, though I'm not immune to cold, necessarily. I could, then, hypothetically just walk there and back, if we wanted.

Does that work? It's not area of effect, so I don't know how it interacts with mold. He can do this more or less all day, as it's at-will cantrip Ray of Frost, so it doesn't cost any resources. Let me know.

Rywokit does what he can to help others figure stuff out, by straining his mind to come up with anything he might have heard of like this before, and quietly mentioning it, in the hopes it might spark a memory.

Are Wicket's previous Perception to Aid Another (a 9, so a failure), Disable Device (16), and Stealth (17) still functioning after the Silverdisks, or should I re-roll those?

EDIT: I've no idea how much a silver disk is worth (or any coppers that I see lying around, for that matter), I'm pretty sure nothing is magical, especially the detect magic spell that I'm using, I know all about engineering stuff, I see nothing by my own internal monologue, and I can very clearly explain what that clearly non-magical effect is and what it's doing. I'm a helper, you guys!

GM, I don't think I said, but I certainly intended for Rywy to be using detect magic everywhere he goes (hence the Spellcraft check). Is it possible to presume that, or should he start that now?

Awesome. While we're waiting, if the water is low enough, Wicket will briefly - stealthily, hopefully - creep around through the water just to make sure it wraps all the way around to their entry point. There are a few nooks and crannies that are kind of dark, too, that he'd look into, checking for traps and magic.

EDIT: To be clear, Wicket goes veeeeery slooowwwly. He takes his time on everything. He's not interested in setting things off against his friends: he wants to stop that, not start it. If he finds anything - anything at all - he reports back to his friends asap, and does not engage, unless he has no choice.

Rywy is mostly treating it casually. He knows how emotional these fleshy kinds are. (Nevermind the fact that he's experiencing emotions himself.) He sees nothing unusual. He's just wondering "why". EDIT:

EDIT: DANG-it, why do all my 20s suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck? Looks like I can't make anyone comfortable (what would a little wooden man know of flesh-type comforts anyway?), nor can I see anything around the dead person. :/

As Jack demands someone hit it, Rywokit's small beam of cold does so.
"<Run: celebration> I did it!" cries Rywy triumphantly. The creature, feeling only the most minor of pinches swivels its head toward the small wooden creature. "<Process: attention> Uh-oh." the small wooden man says, thinking about the importance of fiber in a regular diet.

"<Process: tactical advice> Swing to your left, Locke!" calls Wicket. "<Run: correction> No, your other left!" he adds, after the barest second has passed.

EDIT 2: Technically, Locke goes before Rywokit, however since he wasn't sure he wanted to attack for fear of hitting Jack, I figure Wicket might be able to call out to him to swing at this point. Kind of like if he delayed his action.

Nice! I've got dozens of weird things floating around in my brain, so it's always easy for me to blend rule sets. Plus, we generally don't use grid play (making a number of harder rules more fluid by default), so we end up with unconscious house rules. It's pretty awesome that you're nearly a 4-star! Congrats! :D
