First of all I did play Emerald spire once before. BUT not beyond the first round of the first encounter in the fort. I hope that does not count.
Also the work on Runa is almost completly done, barring backstory
Okay, going through your profile, the only thing I can immediately see wrong is that you have a Wayfinder, which isn't from one of the pre-approved sources...
and I think it's probably too powerful for a cheap permanent magic item, so it's a no-go.
Also, you dropped a fairly significant bombshell in your character's fear entry, as that is a sensitive issue for a lot of people. I'm personally okay with having it in your character's background, but if discussion of that issue might come up in-game, you and I should check with the other players to make sure they are okay. Real-life PTSD is a thing, after all.
I used to train women after experiences like that in self-defence and also worked in the field of refugees. It just tought me that those people can get stronger from it, harder, but still happy.
I wanted a non teflon paladin, someone who will have a berserk-button, but also one that would make people understand her actions.
It will offer great roleplaying opportunities and non-flat characters.
Runa is a messanger for the followers of Shelyn. She sometimes wanders the planes, sent by the clergy or other followers to find special materials for pieces of art, like special gems from the plane of earth for the eyes of a bust, or wonderful flowers from elysium to paste to get the finest paint for a work of art. Sometimes she also acts as a muse for followers giving them nurturing and kind words to aid them in their work. In her freetime she is hunting basher, a follower of rovagug who delights in destroying some of the most beautiful pieces of painting and sculpting just for the joy of destruction.
Her greatest fear is that one day she will have to decide between art and destroying evil, a moment that is the bane of all paladins of Shelyn.
Unlike most paladins Runa has two fears. She really dislikes disharmonious voices. And, being almost raped twice in the past as young girl, being alone with a man in a dark room.
I understand. Just I looked at my other witch and thought, yes that is the witch I would like to play. And I will play her again.
My most prefered Char is my samurai though, but if we have someone like that, who is already in the team, I do not want to challenge his position. I thought, what char did I always want to play, but never have... and finally thought about a ranged hunter.
As you prefer not to switch, how would you feel about a hunter to join the caravan?
Runa, a young varisian girl lived close to sandpoint for almost all her life. While many varisians travel around, she was always hindered by her mother, who was outcast of her tribe after she found her husband with another woman and the following fight. To work with her wanderlust, Runa was always outside, traveling through the woods and making a lifing as hunter and as some say poacher. Her keen eyes and sure hands brought many a deer on the table and she was always ready to listen to other varisians stories in the rusty dragon, spending some meager coins to the excellent brew.
She always had a special liking to Sandru.
As her mother has finally found another man to live with Runa feels ready to leave the home and find a new destiny.
If the gm does not mind we could switch Leodegrance. An old game that was in hiatus due to GM burnout has been restarted and I play a witch there. Also I somehow have some issues getting my head on a witch.
A samurai, as my favorite class is diffrent.
Throwing my hat into the ring.
Runa, a tiefling arcanist and informer, comming to the event to stay up on Current Events.
Runa was born into an asmodeus coven, but ran as soon as she could.
Although a Tiefling, she is a good person at heart working for house Vashnarstill as an informer, delivery girl and sometimes scribe.
I think you should replace me. I am comfortable with 2-10 posts per day, 20 stretch it, but you rack up 50 or more. The problem is I have absolutly lost the orientation at what spot we are. This is no fun for me... and you deserve better. As you are recruiting, please find someone for me.
I feel kind of ashamed and emberassed, but if I can´t follow.. I am no help.
Good luck to you all.
And please set this campaign to inactive for me.
To be clear, casting a fireball to fight your enemys is neither bad nor evil. Using fireballs to burn down an orphanage is evil.
In those kind of spells the intent is the deciding factor.
But as soon as part of the spell is doing an evil act, like animating the dead sacrificing a child and much more is very evil. To be simpler.
If you create an undead, you create an unliving pure evil thing, so far haven´t seen a non evil undead to be created, and so it is an evil act, an evil spell and to be honest... I have even killed people in PFS by not healing them or other actions people who had an undead with them, or behaved in an evil manner. (Cannibalism? Please?)
I think dwarves are almost the best clerics, apart from the channel issue. Why? They are soooo damn tough. A dwarf cleric can start easely with 12 hp and a whopping 10 to will and fort saves at level one.
Scared Whore? I thought he meant sacred whore! "You talk like sissys. Let us get the job done! We can discuss what we do when we have eyeballed our target!"
Finally finished with cleaning her axe the dwarven woman walks toward the exit!
After helping Volk drag the dead to the middle Runa just smiles.
"My method is simple. Ask for the horned ones help and then just use the axe to good effect."
Hefting her axe Runa will start the judgement of justice.+2 to hit. I do not have the access to the map at work she will either charge an enemy if possible or move up to one and attack. If charge, add two Attack(BAB/STR/IC/B/J):1d20 + 1 + 3 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 1 + 3 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 151d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Well first you can only, with a crit double the damage of a spell not triple or quadruple. And You are only allowed one attack per round. Apart from the round you cast the spell.
"My name is Runa, but you can call me Runa! What I can do? I am learned in the ways of the land and in the art of axe and hammer. And I am able to ask Erastil for the one or other of his gifts."
"Lad, you make my head spin with your questions! I need another mug of ale... or two." Returning with his mug she puts up a finger whenever Volk wants to ask her something, indicating she needs still another minute to digest the talkative human.
