Normally we would need to crawl back up on the boat (barring some form of freedom of movement and ability to travel above the water ... but I don't see this on the map? Did it sink when it capsized? Where are we swimming to? How far do we need to swim to get out of the water? I ask because statistically it is going to take Roscoe at least 36 rounds to actually swim to anything just off the map ... assuming he doesn't drown on the way.
