Rogar begins to Squeeze. grapple check including +5 for being in control of the grapple and Bless: 1d20 + 14 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 14 + 5 + 1 = 39 non-lethal damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 Assuming Vroth is still up spend another Ki point to add +4 to my dodge.

Yep that hits. Normally I would delay for buffs but I don't think there are many to be had. Rogar increases his defenses Ki point adding +4 to dodge as swift action. then steps up to the giant 5ft step. and tries to grab him. improved grapple: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17 Nope. AC is now 28. 32 vs the giant.

Rogar would ask for a charge from his Mage Armor wand. And we knew we were expected to fight in the arena or they wouldn't have had it as a map. It was just a question of what we were expected to fight.

The healing is simple enough, That's why we have wands. The pressing on could be more of an issue. A lesser known use of Lesser Restoration is removing fatigue. But Kyra only has 1 scroll of it. She could memorize it a few times in the morning. Rogar has a scroll with a few copies of the spell.

Being Enlarged helps me with Grapple so I don't mind. "We will be underground there. We may have to bring our own light." Fehril looks more caster-like so Rogar passes them his magic consumables. Someone has clearly labeled them. 2x wand of cure light wounds 6/50 and 42/50, Wand of Mage Armor 29/50; Other Gear Scroll of Lesser Restoration x7, Oil of Daylight, 2x Alchemist Fire.

Rogar is apparently a large ugly dwarf ;) who is muscular and wears monks robes. Rogar frowns at the mention of heads on pikes but otherwise simply waits for more information.

On reflection Improved Trip is mostly wasted for me. I'd rather take Mobility as my monk bonus feat. Is retraining even allowed in Core? If yes I want to spend 350 gold and 5 prestige to retrain Improved Trip for Mobility.

I've completed one of the faction journal cards for Grand Lodge. Not sure which season, They didn't list seasons at first. It gives me 3 abilities. Once per scenario I can add a +3 circumstance bonus to one of my Acrobatics, Climb, Survival, or Swim checks. Once per adventure I can add +2 to my attack roll against an Aspis agent and add 7 damage. I can check off a box to have the party be considered to have completed the secondary success condition if we didn't. Doing so takes up my downtime.

Checking in. I'm glad there is renewed interest in Core. Looks like you can use a frontliner. Wizard 7 (Summoner) is also an option if the table feels it would be more useful.
