Although I am in favor of their execution here and now, it may give proof to the townfolk that they are now safe from the slavers and that they have been captured if we brought them into town. It might give the townsfolk some closure if there were a public execution of these savages in the town square for the victims and their families to witness.

No Mercy!!!

Roahn wades into the battle at the Steel Falcons' side giving no quarter to the duergar slavers. Along side of his companions, he slings cantrips alternating with blobs of acid and small balls of flame to take down the enemy.

With the battle over and suffering only minor wounds, Roahn regroups with his companions and helps tend to the wounded.

With the duergar in front of him, Roahn grips his enchanted staff with two hands for better power and control. He makes a quick jab into the duergar's chest with the end of the staff, then a sideward strike to the head.

I'm assuming top of the map is north.

Roahn sees a duergar (blue) in the dim light behind a stalagmite. Gripping his shillelagh in one hand, he holds his other hand up that begins crackling with electricity. Calling to the forces of nature, a miniature roiling storm suddenly forms around the duergar then a thunderous crack of lightning explodes through the duergar's body.

Tempest Surge: 1d12 ⇒ 7 damage.

DC 17 Reflex:
On a failure, the target also is clumsy 2 for 1 round and takes 1 persistent electricity damage.

He then moves to a spot behind a stalagmite near the cavern wall.

I don't think it really matters whether he's got one or two hands on his staff as he helps Korvoth. He will have both hands on the staff when or if he gets into melee.

Roahn runs up to Korvoth as he struggles in the net. Holding his enchanted staff in one hand, he starts tugging at the net and helps untangle it to get Korvoth free.

Roahn tugs on one corner of the net and deftly unrolls the net, spilling the half-orc unceremoniously onto the cavern floor.

Yay, Merdle! I was gonna yell for someone to toss a light into the room.

Would it be possible to put a ring to show the radius of the light? I can't decide what to do. An idea of where the light source is will help, especially if it exposes any enemies.

Tapping his staff against the floor of the cavern hall, Roahn moves to an intersection illuminated by the light of his companions from different areas as he scouts along the passage. Hearing the clash of battle up ahead, he intones a spell which causes his staff to sprout vines and leaves that sparkle with magical energy.

As the group gets past the bomb field, Roahn begins to open his healer's kit and addresses his companions.

Roahn stops dead in his tracks as Korvoth holds out his arms to prevent the group from continuing forward. He gags slightly seeing the chunks of spider strewn about.
Bombs? Oh, dear. I won't move any further.
He glances around the room, just in case, but assumes the bombs are probably well hidden.

Roahn pulls the map out of his satchel and looks it over, trying to find the chamber with three passages leading out.

With a cocked eyebrow, and puzzled by what Yuen said, Roahn peers past the open grate and turns to the doctor.
Good work, Mister Yuen. Or, should I say, "Doctor".

Crouching low, he nods at his companions.
I'll scout ahead.
Roahn grips his staff tightly with both hands as he enters the passage. Occasionally, he loosens his grip and lightly taps the staff against the wall or the ground to check ahead for danger.

A few minutes in, the orange wavering light from a torch carried by one of the members causes a glint from something partially buried in the dirt.
Hmm. What's this?
He reaches down and picks up a small coin. He licks his thumb and rubs the silt away. Holding it close enough to read, letters of hundreds of languages quickly shift and flow upon its surface until they coalesce... Into Druidic.
"Use This In Your Time of Need. Q.M."
A profile of the famed explorer Durvin Gest appears on the other side.
Believing someone or something above is watching him, Roahn looks up in gratitude, then nonchalantly pockets the coin.

Tapping his staff against the wall, Roahn continues down the passage as he scouts ahead.
Let's keep moving. Careful now.

Startled by the sound, Roahn suddenly falls back from the grating onto his rear.
Did you hear that? After the explosion there was yelling. I couldn't make out the language. They must be starting the offensive to rout out the duergar.

Roahn quickly stands up and turns to Korvoth.
Korvoth,
He grips the half-orc's shoulder as a friendly gesture.
Could you try tearing this grate out of the wall?
He pauses, then looks back at the grate.
Wait! Before you do...

He turns to the rogue.
Jak, try checking this thing for a trap. I have a feeling that since we can't decipher the words, which is probably the means to open this, it will blow up in our faces if we meddle with it.

Quickly. We must make haste.

Roahn leans in close to study the inscription. He traces his finger over the lettering and thinks hard, trying to remember if he's learned about this form of magic in the past.

Roahn tries to avoid the sharp protruding rocks as he slides down the treacherous slope.

Wait! I have Cat Fall! Lessens any fall by 10 feet. And, falling damage isn't 1d6 anymore. It's half distance fallen.

A sudden gust of supernatural wind envelopes Roahn as he tumbles downward and then slides slowly to the base of the slope.

Roahn lays in a heap at the bottom of the slope. He rolls onto his back and lifts himself up.

Cavern exploration is not for me.

When Korvoth announces that the cave-in was caused by an alchemical explosion, Roahn keeps his eyes peeled for any danger. He glances about nervously as the group makes their way down the tunnels and caverns.

As they make their way to the slippery slope, Roahn waits for a couple of the others to go first. With the light of the sunrod further down the slope, he gets down on all fours, then with feet first, slowly crawls backwards down the slope. He tries to find protrusions of rock to hold onto as he makes his way down.

I really prefer adventuring in the woods rather than these dark, dusty caverns. I sure hope there is nothing below waiting to ambush us.

I just want to remind everyone... He says earnestly,
...what Doctor Yuen mentioned earlier; These caverns are quite dangerous. Previous explorers have gotten lost or fallen unexpectedly into a crevasse or pit. Possibly to their death. We must tread slowly and carefully. I am no expert at cavern exploration - the wilderness is more my forté - so let's be sure to keep an eye out for danger and watch each others' back.

Roahn will Scout for Exploration Activity. May I purchase a wayfinder (0 fame?) before heading out?

Never really thought of homeland for Roahn. Tossed a dart at a map of Golarion. Homeland is Riddleport, Varisia, but he now lives in a forest somewhere outside of Absalom to practice being a druid and working with the Pathfinder Society.

A dour looking half-elf approaches dressed in loose flowing clothing the color of woodland green with some blue trim. A Horizon Hunter's brooch clasps his cloak at his neck. It was a long journey to get here, however, with such fair weather during the day it was mostly pleasant. So, once again, I do apologize for being late.

Pfft. Well, that was pretty awful aim. He scoffs after his acid spell flies over the statue's head and hits the back wall.

Nefaram, move back towards the door! We'll handle this! He shouts to the frightened paper-pusher.

Roahn pulls his simple leather sling from his belt then loads a bullet. He gives the sling a few good spins and whips the bullet at the statue.

It may come in useful while we're here, Meadow. That Neferam chap may have padlocked some doors and this can melt the metal away. It can also do some damage if used as a weapon. There are probably many other uses as well.

I'll take a look as well, however I am very unfamiliar with this type of expertise. I may have picked up a bit of knowledge from somewhere, however.

Hmm. I believe the contents could be added to water to make the equivalent of three lesser acid flasks. Anyone have any empty flasks? There might be some small clay containers laying around that could work.

Unfortunately, I am not an archaeologist. These carvings and script are very intriguing, however.

I wonder why I keep getting invited by the faction leaders to go on archaeological expeditions. I belong in the wilderness, not dusty old tombs underground. Hmm, quite odd.

That golem on that expedition was the most frightul creation I have ever set eyes upon. And, if I remember correctly, you were almost killed by that thing. Isn't that right, Silence? He winks at the owl.
Well, at least we learned some lessons about fighting golems.

As soon as Mylow mentions "traps", Roahn's eyes widen and he stops moving about. He glances up at the ceiling just to make sure there isn't a loose block of stone ready to come crashing down on him.
Good idea, Mylow. I'm going to stay put right here until we know it's safe to move about. The last ancient tomb I was in had clever traps and very dangerous golem guardians.
