What kind of effect is Fox Shape? (d20pfsrd) The feat itself does not specify. The Flavor text suggests it modifies the Change Shape ability, which is supernatural, but that is not mentioned in the rules section. As an adjunct to that question. Can a Kitsune apply 'fast shifter' Alternate Racial Trait to Fox Shape? PRD wrote: Fast Shifter (Su): You were born with an innate talent for switching between your natural forms. Using your racial change shape ability is a move action instead of a standard action. This racial trait replaces kitsune magic.
So I have decided to have a bit of fun with a build. I am building a Kitsune Urban Barbarian using the Beast Totem and Elemental Rage lines. I've also decided to use the Fox Form and Swift Change Feats from Kitsune. My Primary equipment purchase will be an Agile Amulet of Mighty Fists. I know that as a Tiny I will need to take a 5' Step or Attack Of Opportunity to enter an opponents square. At 4th Level, I will have an 18 Dex, +4 for Rage, +4 Size. My claw attacks will do 1d3+8 and my bite will do 1d3+8 damage, and once per combat I will be able to add 1d6 to all 3 attacks. My Question is whether the Claws will stack with the Fox Transformation. The Claws don't say they are a polymorph effect, so I wasn't sure.
We know that the Society has control of the front (and possibly back) door into the Hao Jin Tapestry, with it's various landmarks, climates and peoples. At least one scenario deals with people who have been in the Tapestry for some time. This brings up a question... could someone make a character who's 'Homeland' is actually inside the tapestry?
I am looking at a Sylvan Sorcerer with both an Animal Companion and a Familiar. I am just curious as to whether the following Feat Progression would allow it. 1 - Skill Focus - Knowledge Nature
The reason I am looking at Sylvan instead of Fey is that I'm not a big fan of the Fey Core Bloodline, and having my Gnome riding a Wolf or Cat amuses me.
Just played in an enjoyable run through of Severing Ties last night. However over the next couple weeks I will be running Shadow's Last Stand Parts 1 and 2 for several of the same characters. SLS pt 2 Spoiler:
The person you are trying to take down is a Shadow Lodge leader known as 'The Spider'. At the end you expose the Spider, and possibly kill her. During the adventure they receive a letter with her signature. Severing Ties Spoiler:
A letter that the players recieve as part of their undercover as Aspis Agents. The letter has the same signature. Now, for running a Season 2 module in the current environment, I had been looking at listing the villains as 'Renegade' Shadow Lodge members, but I was wondering if I should.... Spoiler: Work it out to be an Aspis Plot to sow disention between the Shadow Lodge and the rest of the Society.
I am making a Half-Elven Zen Archer raised by Idylkin. I decided to have the character take Arcane Training instead of Multi-Talented. Since I have a 10 (Or less) in both Int and Cha, I was considering using Empyreal Sorcerer as my Bloodline. This fits with the Agathon Blooded I think The question is this. Do I define the character's Bloodline before taking a level in the class, since the Bloodline affects which stat I am using for casting? Or am I stuck with crappy stats trying to use Scrolls and Wands until I take a level in the class?
I was recently looking at running an Inquisitor in a Dragon Empires campaign, and was wondering if there was a listing somewhere of the Inquisitions available to the Gods of that setting. I know I can speak to my GM and he'll be the final arbitrator, but was hoping to see if there'd been a list put up. Thanks all.
Tried doing a search for this and didn't see it. When a Tengu fights Two Weapon Style, does his Beak attack suffer the Two Weapon Fighting Penalties that are assigned to the Primary Attack in addition to the usual -5 for Secondary? Example. 1st Level Tengu Fighter, 16 STR, 2-Bladed Sword, Two Weapon Fighting Feat. Main Hand Attack +2 (+1 BAB, +3 STR, -2 TWF)
Beak Attack -1 (+1 BAB, +3 STR, -5 Secondary)
If I have a character with Light Fortification (25%) on his Armor and Medium Fortification on his shield (50%) how do the two abilities interact. Some possibilities A) Treated as 75% Fortification (I hope not, since that means you could have 100% fortification with two mediums). B) Treated as 50% Fortification, ignoring the light completely. C) Treated as seperate, rolling once for 50%, and once for 25%.

Armor Expert: You have worn armor as long as you can remember, either as part of your training to become a knight's squire or simply because you were seeking to emulate a hero. Your childhood armor wasn't the real thing as far as protection, but it did encumber you as much as real armor would have, and you've grown used to moving in such suits with relative grace. When you wear armor of any sort, reduce that suit's armor check penalty by 1, to a minimum check penalty of 0. Grief-Filled: You are no stranger to loss and intense emotions. Born in Cornwall, Sir Tristram began his life as a distant member of the royal family, the great-nephew of the King, and later the nephew of the new King Mark. Still noble, though of the lesser branch, Tristram was taught the horse, sword, and lance, showing outstanding prowess for one so young. When he had come of age, his uncle Mark desired both an alliance with a neighboring state and a marriage. Mark sent Tristram to England proper to escort a fair maiden named Isolde back to him to be his wife. The voyage started out simply enough, the young knight making quick progress to the court where Isolde was kept. All was well, Isolde's father offering his hospitality to Tristram for a week as he prepared a feast to send his daughter off. The maid was lovely, but the young man remained resolute, determined to see her safely home and in King Mark's home. The night of the feast, however, something deeper burned within Tristram, and when the two encountered each other later in the evening they started a tryst. The young knight made slow progress on the way back to Cornwall, his mind warring over his obligation to his uncle and his love for the beautiful Isolde. He almost made it back to Mark's court, but turned aside at the last moment, he and Isolde stealing away to a secluded home in a rural area. When his new bride failed to show up, King Mark first sent to Isolde's father, who of course told him that Tristram had indeed arrived and then left with the young woman. Outriders determined that there was no evidence on the well-traveled road to the coast of a struggle. The search began, with Tristram and Isolde having many months together before a scout happened upon them. King Mark sent many knights to overcome the skilled Tristram, and even so many of them were sorely wounded when they finally fell upon the young knight. Even so, he was defeated by the men and was bound and brought before the King. King Mark at first demanded that Tristram be executed, but Isolde begged for forgiveness and promised to remain true to Mark and be a most devoted wife in exchange for Tristram's life. Mark finally relented, banishing Tristram from Cornwall instead. With a heavy heart, the young man bid Isolde farewell before riding off to seek his fortune elsewhere. After riding around for a time, he had heard of a young man who had pulled the legendary sword of Uther Pendragon from the statue of Arturia. Thinking that such a man would be worthy of having a servant such as he, Tristram rode off to seek him out and offer his services.
Appearance/Description:
Tristram is tall and broad, stoutly built after all the years of wearing heavy armor and swinging heavy weapons. His dark hair is kept cut short and usually brushed straight back, his green eyes peeking out of a craggy, tanned face that looks unusually weathered for a man in his early 20's. Tristram has a quiet demeanor, rarely raising his voice. For all his skill with the sword and lance, he is rather shy and not prone to boast. He falls into despondence at times, thinking of his lost love.
