Male Human Sorcerer 1: HP 10: AC 11: Perception +1
"Remish" Remish adds as he digs into the meal. He turns to some of the ones that did not volunteer to be leader. "Something bothers me about all this. After the General had us volunteer, he led us to a building for 'weapons', but we didn't actually go in. The only reason I can think that he would distract us like that is if you non volunteers were told something out of our earshot. Or he may have just been yanking our chains. What happened after we left?"
Male Human Sorcerer 1: HP 10: AC 11: Perception +1
Remish keeps the dagger and looks at the retreating bandits. 'Elandra, huh. I think that is someone I need to meet.' He nods at his allies, drawing a wince of pain from the wound at his side. "Well that Shield didn't work so well." he mutters under his breath. He then looks around for Lay Z, to ask for some healing, a longspear and some very light armor like an armored kilt or haramaki.

Remish grunts in pain as the bandit's sword cuts him. His hands grow into golden talons and he rips at the bandit.

Remish smiles at Karthal and Parker. "Well said. You are more than welcome." As Sarah chimes in he says. "Anytime, Gorgeous. If you're God keeps us alive, I'm all for him." He looks at the three front liners who have volunteered. "So who wants the flanks?"
Male Human Sorcerer 1: HP 10: AC 11: Perception +1
Remish picks up a dagger from the pile.

"I for one, do not want to lose to bunch of bandits." Remish says, pointedly ignoring the fact that they can overhear. "We Dragons" nodding to Randrashar as he speaks. "will protect any casters or clerics that wish to join us, provided they pull their weight" Looking at Parker's choice of weapons he continues. "If you'd like to join us on the front line then you're welcome to."

Shirota Ikari wrote: Shirota smirks. "Have no fear." He says, "If all goes according to plan, neither of our flanks will be in very much danger." Shirota continues with utmost confidence. Remish chuckles. "Well then, I'll just stick around in case something doesn't go to plan." As Randrashar walks up and speaks he continues the conversation in common. "Well, I'm not sure if I'd call myself a dragon. The Wise Woman said I had the 'blood of a good dragon and an evil outsider' flowing through my veins. As for fighting the wolves, I can't speak for the fearless one here. But help is always welcome and appreciated." At this he pauses and says to both of them. "Name's Remish."

Randrashar the Shining wrote: Randrashar smiles, his crystalline scales glinting in the sun. He laughs and says, "Ha, wolves are no match for a dragon!" Remish actually is taken aback by this remark, as he looks over at Randrasher to see if he was talking about him. Noticing the scales for the first time he is taken aback. I know the one who could tell I cast a spell is a mage, but how can this man claim to be dragonblooded and not have noticed a spell being cast in draconic. The mage it is. Finalizing his decision he moves next to Shirota. "I am ready." he says to the General, then whispers to Shirota. "Some sort of mage, right? I'll keep them off your flank if you'll do the same for me."
Male Human Sorcerer 1: HP 10: AC 11: Perception +1
Remish looks around. Surely this is not some sort of gladiatorial fight. he thinks. Just in case, he casts his gaze across the sandcovered pit, looking for a rock or broken remains of a weapon in case worse comes to worse.
Male Human Sorcerer 1: HP 10: AC 11: Perception +1
Remish just smiles at Shirota's remark and shrugs. 'Not really' he thinks. 'But it does give me an excuse to check some things out.' he concentrates on seeing if he can detect any divination magic spying on them as the the General begins his march through the woods. Soon the pace becomes too brisk for him to continue concentrating on the spell, but until then he tries to learn as much as his magic reveals.

Remish chimes in"Well, I certainly do." he says as he steps back from the others, apparently to let them go first. As he does he gestures and in a normal non threatening tone speaks a phrase in Draconic.
Draconic:
Manifestus Venificium Spellcraft DC 15 and obviously LegitDM: He has just cast and is starting to maintain Detect Magic

While General General talks Remish stands at attention. Although not a fighter, he is a big youth, attractive in build, his golden hair marred by a streak of black running through it. His face is a ruin however. The birthmark that dominates it is vaguely disturbing to look on and was instrumental in his parent's decision to sell their son. His father half suspected that he wasn't his anyways. He steps forward at the offer of command. He has always hated being told what to do. Might as well minimize the number of people giving him orders.
I think I may have figured it out...not 100% sure. My first attempt at creating something here. I was concerned with trying to keep up with the environmental checks also and a "travel log" sounded like a good idea. So I made this for the 12 day trek to help me out. Maybe it will help some of you out also or maybe it sucks but like I said first attempt here so be kind :) Feel free to print it off and use if you wish. I printed at as a full page slide and it looks good to me. I also included some of the requirements at the bottom so I wouldn't have to keep flipping back and forth in the CRB and a few spaces to fill in appropriate data for each PC. I tried to color code the pertinent information together so that it would be easier to read quickly. Hope this is useful. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vpnnSQXJ5UK_z1E0fcgHbIBvZUUDqvN3/view?usp= sharing
Thanks so much Black Dow for those really cool handouts. A funny side note on what happened when I used them with my group today. After they read the "news" feeds that they accessed they decided to go the the Absalom Station News station and talk with the reporters who had been covering the stories. After agreeing to an interview with the station for the exclusive story rights (as the were witnesses/participants in the shootout at docking bay 94) they were able to gain almost (not all) the information on the two gangs from the investigative reports covering the gangland goings on at the station. So your handouts worked great and they look great too. Even though it did cause me to have to do a little on the fly improvisation. Great job and thanks again.
Awesome to hear. My two boys (13 and 9 now) started playing at 11 and 7. They both LOVE it. My 13 year old is trying his hand at GM now. Pathfinder is one of the only things I have found that will keep my 9 year old engaged and playing for hours. We all played for about 5 hours last weekend and he never lost interest. He also loves reading the bestiaries. From a parents perspective it is very cool when they come to you begging to play Pathfinder (or start asking to play in the middle of the week for the weekend ahead)rather than wanting to play video games all the time.

My guys are 8 and 12. We started with the beginner's box about 2 months ago and went thru it fine. We also went to a couple of society games and they ate it up. We just began the Jade Regent AP and they are having no problems other than the fact I can't get everything prepared quick enough for the amount they want to play. They want to play every day almost. Hell most of the time they remember their feats and other options better than I do and can do all the math on dice rolls quicker too.:) |
