Reigar immediately begins to reload his musket, watching his companions engage the goblins fiercely. The gnome works with quick efficiencey, pulling the horn cap open and into the small musket he wields. Then expertly loading another bullet and setting the charge. He works with such swiftness that the whole task seems to be natural to him.

Reigar watches as the event unfolds. After trying his hardest to keep everyone calm and peaceful, it all falls apart. Seeing his friends move against the necromancer, even if he is no real threat, confuses the gnome as to why such actions would be necessary if they could negotiate or trick Kelvin. Then when one of their "own" targets the rest of them with a spell, Reigar is left utterly fuddled as to who is his friend and who is not. Lacking any concept of human norms, social structure, or friendship leaves the little gnome with no foundation as to how to act. He quickly assesses the current situation as best as possible. Must take course of action that is mutually beneficial to the greatest number of my colleagues. Kelvin is a threat, neutralized by Lucius and Lucian. Goblins are disgusting, no immediate threat that Fergor or Hagnar cannot eliminate. Natalie...fiend?...ally?...threat?...enemy? Unable to form a solid conclusion Reigar reacts as a confused child and based on natural impulse. Seeing the female wizard cast a spell, that seemed bent on harming the others, forces the gunslinger to react in order to preserve himself and his friends. I will say that because of his personality and desires that Reigar is going to try to remain neutral to the allies. He is young and naive, still not quite grasping human social concepts and such. If things get particularly violent by the time his slot to act comes up then Reigar is going to react to protect himself and minimize casualties.

At the sight of the goblins being felled and their current dilemma, Reigar slowly approaches the door and listens to the chatter of those around him. I did a singular move two rounds ago, 20ft to put me at 90ft, then move again the next round to put me within 70ft. Since Rapid Reload with my musket makes reloading a standard action I assumed I can move then reload. 1 move action followed by standard action. However, if so be the case then I would have taken double move and reload the following round so I can be within my 40ft range for my musket.

Reigar jumps in glee as he watches the goblin fall from the tower with a thump. He turns to the wizard as he begins to move towards the trees separating him from the rest of the group. "Ah-ha! See milady, we make a dynamic duo! Just you wait, soon we shall be seeing the wonders and mysteries of the unknown, be written as legends, and live happily ever after!" He finishes with a wink and starts moving with a swiftness to help the rest of the group. Once he makes it into the cover of the trees and out of sight he begins to reload his musket.

Now that I moved up one range increment I should have a better chance. Reigar quickly pulls his musket up to take aim at one of the goblins atop the tower. The small gnome musters up the most confident voice he can and shouts at the foes he is about to fire upon. "Avast, ye rotten beasts! How dare you attempt to harm the fair maiden!" As he finishes his words the young gunslinger takes careful aim, noticing all the wind patterns around him and his trajectory. Then with cool and calm ease he lets loose another deadly shot. Use of 1 Grit point to use Steady Aim, move-equivalent action that increases the accuracy of my attack by 10ft. Putting me one range increment beyond first so should be just -2, at a range of 80 ft.

When we established at the beginning the guns conditions I was under the impression we are in an emerging guns world as described in Ultimate Combat. In that world of guns it's vs Touch AC regardless of spending grit. Thanks for clarifying though. Forgot how messy guns can get, my apologies.

Reigar watches the fighter's arrow get carried away by the wind. He lifts his hat in the air, looking at it intently then sets it back upon his head. He squints his eyes, searching for a goblin to move closer to the edge. Despite the dreary weather he is still peppy though. He trudges along from the rear, thinking in silence of the Tower that he was warned about and this group of potential friends. He listens idly to the chatter of the group and their plans to enter the tower and overcome the resistance of any goblins. "Ahem, if I may so kindly suggest. Dear dwarf, you may be good with a sling, however, I would not mind ridding the world of the disgusting things myself. They do pose an eyesore to myself. My apologies for absence and unavailability. Thanksgiving had a lot of traveling and family ongoings that demanded attention. From what I can tell, Reigar is off finding the smith while the rest are talking at the tavern. So, I will post my actions finding the smith. GM: As the rest of the group wander off to converse and talk strategy, Reigar meanders off, lost in his current task. He searches the square to find the smithy, then once he catches the aroma of a furnace and hears the clanging of a hammer the gnome hones in and follows it to the source. He stumbles on the doorway entering the smithy and falls in a clamor. Swiftly, Reigar jumps to his feet, dusting himself off and picking up his hat he smoothly transitions into a bow looking down at his feet. "Ahem, excuse me. My apologies all, I have been busy with Thanksgiving travels and plans. While Reigar and Zirrel are walking away from the young man, the gnome's mind starts to ponder his last words. He is lost in the thought of exploring an anomaly of the world, trying to find out its secrets, and learning anything he can of the mystery. A tower that disappears and reappears, people go up and don't come back down. What kind of power can do that? What could it be hiding? As he is lost in thought he is jostled back to reality when the elf moves quickly next to him. Reigar watches the exchanges, unawares about what has happened or why the young woman from their group was on the ground. The curious gnome can see the tension in the face of one of the fighters. He quickly walks up, cheery as always, "Ahoy, fellows! See that we have reconvened out of some chance of fate. I am by chance on the way to replenish my stock of ammunition. As the woman looks to the pair the gnome raises his hand high to wave her down for her attention. Then he clears his throat and replies. "Well, ma'am. I am actually in search of an alchemist. Or mayhaps even a merchant of eccentric items. Oh, even a tinkerer or explorer may be of aid. Ah, it would do best to show you." With that Reigar unstraps his musket and holds it in his hands then retrieves his powder horn and empties some into his hand. "My mechanism here functions with the use of this powder to create fantastical energy and force that sounds with a loud crack and propels projectiles, such as small round metal orbs known as bullets, in order to cause harm to the foul things that threaten me. I am in need of both this black powder and bullets, the round metal balls. Do you by chance have anybody here that can be of aid?"

Not many people notice the little gnome as he walks swiftly past them and under their legs in the market. Once arriving to the Guildhouse he knocks simply and awaits an answer and more information.

I also agree with GM tracking, for PBP it seems to work the best and causes less issues. Anything that makes a happy GM makes happy players.

Was Reigar able to find any place to buy more ammunition to prepare before leaving tomorrow? He was looking at buying at least 20 more bullets and doses of powder, and any other traveling necessities that might be necessary to him. After doing so he will make his way to the tavern to join the others. The lively little gnomes makes his way into the tavern, coming back from the market. Still having his brightly adorned hat donned, he tips it to a barmaid and motions for one ale as he makes his way towards the group of companions that seem to be having an engaging conversation. He pulls up a chair from nearby, of course more like a heaving than slight pull. Then climbs his way into the seat and stands on it to be at eye level with the others. "Oy! My compatriots! By the looks of these maps and the face on our cold dwarven friend, this resembles a planning party. Am I mistaken? How much fame, glory, and wealth do we have to earn from this venture? Speaking of, is that by chance our reward from Lady Jadale? I would appreciate one of you fine gents handing my share to me." The gnome finishes with a polite gesture towards the bag of coin and his friends. He sips on his ale and listens intently on the discussion of the next journey they are to make.

Hope you can see well enough to make it to the planes! Haha! Get it?! He has no head!!! Don't worry my dear friend, my aim is true and sharp!" Reigar says to Fergor to assure him of the tactic. Then he proceeds to begin reloading again. Efficiently cleaning out the bore and loading another charge of powder. Swiftly and with fine skill. All the while the gunslinging gnome watches the rest of the companions take the remaining goblins.

Reigar lets the charge blow aiming his musket at the two goblins standing together. Just to clarify, because of my Rapid Reload feat as a Musket Master, I can reload my gun as a standard and still attack. Or am I interpreting incorrectly?
