Sorry for the delay, guys. That really got me at work the other day with a surprise 27 hour shiftand now switched to me to overnights for the next week. Guess that is what happens in the Army, though. Thanks for taking care of my rolls. Is Regi good to just ride down hitched to Grutsnick? An extra couple of pounds shouldn't make a difference for the big boy. I have a climb of +5 already anyhow. Climbing inside the big half-orc's backpack, Regi looks a bit like a comical baby. Peering out he says,"You'll all appreciate this if something decides to make an attack on us on the way down." sounding a bit defensive as he does so.

Having spent the evening spent the evening discussing the battle with Grutsnik and how often he had come across things such as those they fought, Regi forgot to become involved the others in there research. Looking fresh as ever the next morning ready for a new day, the halfling wakes the others as he prepares breakfast. "Wake up ya lazy louts. Yer breakfast is gonna either cool or be eaten by somethin' else, hehehe." Sitting on a stone, he lights his scrimshaw pipe and drinks a cup of coffee. "Alex,my friend, care to join me for a smoke?" he says looking quite content in the dawns light. "What'd you guys figure 'bout these here stones last night?" he ask as he pulls a small notebook from his satchel and prepares to take some notes.

Straightening his clothes and loading his pistol, Reginald walks over to his friends,"Good grief, that tree was mean one. I'm pretty sure that is one exhibit I might leave out of my house of Mwangi Curiousities, hahaha." Looking around he sees the porters have all moved on from this world, "Those fellas had no luck at all I'm afraid. Gonna have to make sure we comp their folks. Harsh life out here and all, but it is the custom"

Whenever a firearm is used within the first range increment it is against ranged touch AC. So for this battle, I have been inside that range the entire time. I figured it might have slipped through the cracks, so added it to the description of what I was doing, I had to look over the firearm rules in UC to verify that this had carried over from the place test, myself. So yeah, every attack I have made has been against Touch AC. I will be out of the loop today. I will be on a 24 hour shift at the barracks with no internet, blah. Jusr keep me blasting away with both barrels.

"Sorry old boy, but business is business." Again both barrels roar to life in effort to blow the plant man to bits. AS the smoke cloud follows the thunder clap, Regi glances at Lori. Checking his pistol and shortsword are in place,Regi moves along with the hulking half-orc. "Wish I could lend you hand friend, but I have not the stature to render such a assistance. "It's not the fish, Barker, but the Screaching Eels that worry me." he says with a grin. Finishing up the maintenance on his pistol, the gunslinger gives it spin around his finger holstering it in one smooth motion. "Well. Who's first in the chute for watch this fine evening?"
Male Halfling 4 Gunslinger/2 Bard
With a laugh Regi responds,"Grutsnick, ol' boy, that was the best I've ever been on! In fact it was so good I should hope to never have another, hahahaha. Casting Prestedigitation on everyone who still needs drying out or cleaning up, Reginald sits down beside Grutsnick and begins his evening equipment maintenance. After again using his little mummy hand to cast mage hand to carry a large leaf over his head and a round of prestidigitation to dry and clean his clothes, Regi walks along puffing on his pipe looking quite content. "Quite right." he says to Barker between puffs. "Remember, though, when we were out here...what, 3 years ago now, and the thing collapsed on us under the weight of the water on it. Was actually quite funny to that rich fella you were escorting on his real "Mwangi Safari" get drenched, haha." Survival 1 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

"Sounds fair enough to me."says the halfling as he prepares himself a "comfortable" place to rest. Arranging a patch of large leaves on top of each other he uses his small mummified hand to raise them above his head and takes up residence under the now floating canopy. "Love this little trinket. Feel sorry for the fella who used to be attached to though."finishing the thought with a shrug and a introspective rub of his chin.

"Hahaha. Barker, have you ever thought about taking the path of the bard? It might be far more lucrative than hunting. In fact I have a bit of a mueseum back home in Andoran. You might want to come back there with me when this is all done." After finding the largest elephant's ear leaf he can to keep the rain from his head, Reginald ask,"So how are the watches working tonight? I have some things to discuss with Gruts about our potential for getting about and wreaking havoc. I would say it is wise to pair off with someone whose skills compliment your own. Grutsnick can handle things up close and personal like. whereas, I would prefer to keep a bit of distance between myself and the toothier parts" he finishes with a grin. Grinning at Grutnick's response, Regi responds,"We shall have to wait and see, Grutsnick, my friend. But, I see that this arrangement has some wonderful possiblities that will need further consideration!" I am thinking we might be able to work up a very unique form of mounted combat. "And if by what I know of that little pig sticker on your side is true, then firearms are likely to be your cup of tea one day, especially these little guys.",he finishes patting the gun on his thigh. Pulling a little rhomboid gem from his vest pocket and tossing it in the air,Regi simply says, "Light.", and the gem sticks in place hovering in a lazy orbit around his head casting about much light as a torch. "Little buggers come in handy in the darker parts of the world." After checking his cartridge case and other effects were in place for duty, he snuffs the stone and prepares for his watch. Sitting at the front of his canoe enjoying this little raft ride down on this beautiful country's rivers, a spry halfling in a linen vest and calf length pants rest with his back against the side of the boat. A brown derby sporting a cockatrice tail feather rest over his face. Smoke gently drifts out of his scrimshaw pipe as he polishes an ornate device of peculiar make. Not moving to look at the commotion in the river as it was not near enough to warrant concern, but close enough to warrant him flipping switch on the side of his device. His pistol, as you've heard him call it, breaks open and he slides a paper tube into each of the barrels. Flipping it back together he, Regi slips the gun back into its holster and continues puffing on his pipe. "Beautiful place, this country. Dangerous, but beautiful. Been here a long time, friend, and it always has so much more to give...or take if ya can find it." Tipping the derby back a bit he glances back and adds with a smile,"And I plan on taking it all. Even the silliest pieces of junk you find in some of the tombs here you can sell to the rubes new to the colonies for half their cash. Sucker born every minute and most of 'em come here from Cheliax lookin' to get there mitts on their piece of the colonial pie, hahaha." With that he leans back again relaxing against the hull his hand on the gently resting on the grip of his fine double-barreled pistol.

"So you're heading out into the Expanse? Well, I was heading that way myself. I'll tell ya that it isn't an easy place to adventure and its pretty damned hard to just live there, but I know quite a bit about the people an' creatures what live there. If there is one thing you need in Mwangi, it's someone who knows the difference between the tribes and the pecualiarities of that part of the world. Who am I?", the little man wearing a brown felt derby and large caliber pistol on his side ask. "Name's "Professor" Reginald Fezziweg. Purveyor of antiquities and curiousities. I've seen a lot of things an' been a alot of places, but the Mwangi is the strangest of the bunch. Things there you ain't ever gonna see anywhere else in Golarion, friend. Luck happens to be walking with you today. If it weren't, you'd a bumped into some fool who'd of just led ya astray. Let me grab my gear an' we'll get ta talkin' 'bout yer little safari." and with that he bounds off to grab a well worn, but well made pack turning his to look at you over his shoulder, adding, "I can't wait to tell about you some of the things I've seen in that land, friend.Hope ya don't have a nervous ticker, hahaha." Reginald is part P.T. Barnum, part Indiana Jones. He will fill the slot of a skill monkey rogue type with a battle field control ranged fighting type. I'll wait to choose my pistol and gear till you've decided if you want this character and we have a chance to discuss such things. Thanks! Bilbo 3/4 character sheet minus gear in profile
