I started the PbP campaign here. If people would dot in, that'd be great. I'll mail everyone as well, in case you're not checking this anymore.

The problem will mainly be trying to fit me into a 1-5 adventure, as I've already played a lot of them. And I'm not really sure what I'd like to do with this character. The last two adventures were just me trying stuff out, but I can't really find a sweet spot.
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
I had a dream last night we TPKd in this fight. The way it looks now, it doesn't seem too far off. >_>
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
Also, I'm not sure if you've seen this, but they've clarified what fits in a wrist sheath.

Geez, tough cookies, these guys. "May, je, bado kuwa na baadhi ya uponyaji huo? Mimi naweza kutumia kwa sasa." Celestial:
May, do you still have some of that healing? I could use it right now." Rawlins hops around the enemy, hoping for a flank with Nitorou, and lashes out with his morningstar. Five-foot step, then attack. Attack roll: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
Two attacks are pretty nice, but the Phantom's stats are kinda meh. I have no idea how the phantom's managed a +7 to hit after Power Attack. They have a Strength of 12, BAB of 1, and a +2 from flank and Power From Despair.
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
Rawlins gets up from the ground move action, then lashes out with his sleeve at the longsword-wielder's legs.
Steel Scarf:
Steel Scarf (Su): As a swift action, you can harden a scarf, sleeve, cloak, or other piece of your clothing into something as hard as steel that stretches out to be up to 30 feet long. You can then strike outward with it as if it were a weapon making a melee attack. For the purpose of this ability, you are proficient with this weapon. You can use the weapon to perform combat maneuvers. Make a melee attack roll against a creature within 30 feet; you may use Weapon Finesse with this attack. If you hit, the weapon deals 1d8 points of slashing damage + 1 point for every two oracle levels you possess. After this attack, the clothing returns to its normal length and hardness. You do not threaten an area with this weapon and cannot use it to make attacks of opportunity. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Charisma modifier. Trip attempt vs CMD: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
With that failed, he five-foots steps closer to the guard, yelling in his face. "Jinsi kuthubutu kuua kwamba wasio na hatia kidogo mbwa? Wewe ni hauna maana ya kutu, unajua kwamba, sawa?" Celestial: "How dare you kill that innocent little dog? You're worthless scum, you know that, right?"
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
Rawlins starts awake, confused at his sudden unconsciousness. "Nini kimetokea? Mimi kupita nje, pole kwa hilo. Je kutokea tena." Celestial:
"What happened? I passed out, sorry for that. Won't happen again." Rawlins sees the guy in front of him swinging a sword around and doesn't trust his luck. He tries to cast defensively a Cure Light Wounds on himself. Casting Defensively, DC 17: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16 Rawlins roars in frustration as his spell fizzles before his eyes. "Je, mtu kupata mtu huyu mbali na mimi? Siwezi kufanya kitu chochote pamoja naye kinga chini ya shingo yangu." Celestial:
"Can someone get this man away from me? I can't do anything with him breathing down my neck." Sorry I'm not of much use, guys. I could've swung at the guy, but that would've missed anyway.
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
Whelp. ._. Will save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
Check to stabilise (DC 14): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16 Good luck, guys. I was thinking of healing myself instead of attacking, but decided against it. That 9 damage in a turn would still have downed me, I think.
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
Will save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
"Samahani mimi kufanya hivyo, wewe kuondoka na uchaguzi!"
For those who speak Celestial:
"I'm sorry I have to do this, you leave me no choice!" Rawlins grabs his morningstar and swings at the negative channeling Cleric with it. Five-foot step, move action to draw, standard to swing. Attack roll: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Sorry for the absence, got sick and it's hard to get back into PbP again, I just let you do the talking up to this point, hope you didn't mind.
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
I usually leave INT-skills to people with an INT above 14. It's just an uphill struggle for anything below that, I feel. Rawlins tries to clean the beetle juice off his morningstar by sloshing it around in the sewer, only getting it more dirty in the process. "Rico, could you do the same to my silaha? I usually clean it with a rag, but I don't want to touch it right now.
Rawlins is clearly experiencing some aftershocks of adrenalin, his words switching back to Celestial at times.
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
What's the lighting like? Would normal vision suffice in the dark, or are we supposed to have Light cantrips and the like on? Rawlins walks outside the alcove slightly panicked, and tries to reason with the man. "Nkosi, silapha nje ukubuza kuwe mayelana into yifa lakho, akukho okunye. We cha fisa you phi umonakalo!" He realises he's all but unintelligible to most people, sighs, and lashes out with his cloak towards one of the beetles. Metal mystery Steel Starf revelation. Drew on the map which one I want to hit. Steel Scarf: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Lazy Google Translate: Sir, we're just here to ask you about an item in your possession, nothing more. We don't wish you any harm!

"Honest" Rico Fink wrote: How about disguise? Rawlins might fit right in with the people down here, lying about, waiting for their substance (in your case, booze). Good idea! If I take that original roll, it becomes a 14, or I'll just reroll it, whichever the GM prefers. Disguise: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
Rawlins huddles in between the beggars in the alcove with the fire beetle, hoping to stay out of sight. Stealth: 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (12) - 3 = 9 At least I'm out of direct line of sight, that should count for something. >_>
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
Ergh, I want to reply to Araklifest about staying, but I can't seem to find the right words. Been trying to formulate them for the past three days, but I'm drawing a blank. I'm staying, don't worry. "I agree with Araklifest. Let's all use different corners to hide in, but not too spread apart that we'll be in trouble if problems arise."
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
"Look, I'm all for a bit of roughhousing and deception, but when ghosts start sprouting from people's heads, that's it. That's officially above my pay grade. If you want me to deal with it, I need to be more buzzed than this, so at least I can forget it once it's over."
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
Rawlins looks at the events boggle-eyed, then turns around for the sewer exit in disbelief. "That's it, I need more drinks. I'm too sober for this. If you need me, I'll be at the Oyster." Feel free to stop me, obviously.
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
Rawlins reads through the notes left by Magali. "Hmm, says right here we need some samples and his notes. These might be the samples, but I'm not exactly sure, and we haven't found his notes yet. They might be hidden somewhere else, or on his person. Maybe it's a good idea to wait for him a bit to interrogate him. Leaving now would only lead us to jump to conclusions. I do wish those poor bastards around here were of more help, though." Perception check on the vial: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
Rawlins walks over to the man currently being examined by Araklifest. "Do you need any help? Food? Healing? We can get you out of here, if that's what you want." His speech is still a bit slurred from all the booze he's had.
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
I'm still inside, I think Araklifest misunderstood my post. Slightly slurring, Rawlins greets Rico. "Hey Rico, things went fine. I -somehow- couldn't charm her away from this place, but Gorrec managed to lead her outside. I haven't seen them since, so I can only assume they're making out in an alleyway or something." And yeah, I agree, we did this quite nicely. Well done, everyone!
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
I think you mean Rico?
And get well soon, Araklifest! :(

"I haven't done anything with or to him, and I'll swear that on whichever deity you want me to. But hey, that offer's still standing..." Which is absolutely true, but I am concealing something. If you think that warrants a Bluff, roll it for me. Modifier is +6. Rawlins takes a long drink and stares her up and down fearlessly. When he gets no response, he continues. "Fine. If you're not interested, I'll go bother other people instead. But I want you to know you missed the opportunity of a lifetime here." Rawlins drains his drink, gets up, and wobbles back to the bar. When he's out of earshot, he Messages to the rest:
Or feel free to interrupt me during this exchange. Time can be stretched in a PbP.
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
Rawlins grins. "Playing hard to get, I like that. Sareth has just given me the bare necessities. We have what you want, you have money. What's not to understand?" To prevent this from me carrying us (and possibly ruining this), feel free to jump in with a distraction or something. I was kinda banking on being so disgusting she'd just leave. Otherwise I'll have to get more handsy, and I'm not entirely comfortable with that. >_>

I had another look at the handouts when I was posting, but it didn't really help that it was 2 AM and I was pretty sleepy. I interpreted it as the Aspis experimenting on people, and getting the drug from the Kortos people: I recently discovered that the consortium (by which I think the Aspis) is experimenting on the poor and destitute of Diobel with a vicious and unpredictable drug called whip. Next Fireday, Aspis agents will send (...)

Crap, forgot if we knew which party was buying and which party was selling. I was assuming the Kortos were selling. If we don't know, ignore this post completely. I have another plan if this doesn't work, so no big loss. Rawlins looks the lady up and down in a very obvious manner. His eyes linger slightly too long on her chest. "Yes, your appointment is with me. I hear you know my associate, but he's currently suffering from food poisoning, chunks are flying everywhere. Not a pretty sight. So I'm his stand-in. If you want, I can bring you to him, but you might want to carry an umbrella, because you might stand in the... splash zone. But, back to business. I fear I have I have bad news for you, sweetheart. Business is booming, and others are paying much more than you can offer. But I'm a nice guy, and I hate to see a pretty face like yours leave empty-handed. How 'bout we rent a room and go upstairs, see if you can't 'convince' me to renew our contract. I mean, the barkeep already knows about it, so it's fine." Rawlins waves at the barkeep and points at Rukania, then makes a thumbs-up motion.
My ingenious plan: act like an a@$+#$@ and scare her off. I'm trying to be as repulsive as possible. Hope I did it well enough, couldn't think of anything more to throw in. The booze helps me relax and look like a genuine drunk lecher. I'm willing to take a sickened penalty for the booze affecting me, but it might as well help. >_> Bluff: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
I'm not revealing anything yet. It's better when you see it in action and you don't know it's coming. At least, I hope so. Rawlins orders two more beers, drains one in a single gulp and brings his other beer with him to the the table Rico and the other man have just vacated. Sense Motive:
He's been drinking an awful lot of beer in a very short amount of time.... I'll deduct 1 GP or something from my chronicle for all the booze, I guess.
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
A bit late, but get well soon!
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
I'd figured it was mostly me being still kinda pleasant, but with some dark undertones. I mean, most of it was sorta-threatening-but-not-quite in a humourous tone, but yeah, there definitely was a threatening vibe there. Also, I'm still not entirely sure how Message works. It has a long duration and an incredibly long range, yet you still need to be able to be close to each other in order for it to work. You need to point to someone, but it can travel around things (or is the pointing upon casting?).
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
I thought so as well, but that CHA 14 still counts for something. :P It just puts a little pressure on me. Maybe I should start incorporating random Celestial words every now and then. :P
"Good to know they won't be any trouble. How are we going to do this, by the way? I'd rather not cause a ruckus inside, so we follow them outside? Someone pretends to be either party and the rest holds up the other guy outside? We beat them both up in an alleyway and we take the goods for ourselves?"
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
I realised there was a bit of a disconnect between my words and my actions, but I decided "not being a people person" doesn't necessarily mean you're not good at it, just that you don't like it. :P With a sigh, Rawlins turns back to the group and grins sheepishly. "Phew, that took more out of me than I thought. Let's sit back and relax until our appointment shows up, all right?"
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
"Great, don't worry, we'll take care of them for you. Wouldn't want some illegal activities going on around here, right?" Rawlins adds another wink to his comment. He seems more at ease now that he's had some booze in his system. Indeed, it's as if he feels more at home looking for trouble in a tavern than when he's on the streets.
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
"I know you want to make this a safe place for your regulars. I mean, which honest businessman wouldn't? But herein lies the rub: I'm interested in dispensing some justice, and my eye has fallen on these drug-peddling thugs. If I can't find them, my attentions might shift to the foul miscreant who's selling dud pearls in this very tavern. If you have any leads on that, I'd be willing to get him out of your hair as well. I mean, an upstanding citizen as yourself wouldn't have any problems with that, right? Nice beer, by the way."
HP -4/11| AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +2 | Ref +1 | Will +2 | Init +3 | Perception +5 | Normal vision
Anyone else wants to take over? I'm on mobile right now, can't type well. Otherwise I'll continue later this evening.

This post is assuming the owner of the bar is present right now. If the barkeep doesn't look like he'd own the place, ignore this post. Seeing Gorrec flounder, Rawlins decides to use a different tactic. He motions to the bartender from a secluded spot at the bar. "Barkeep, one ale for me please. I've, er, heard that this bar is sometimes used to make some, how do you say it... unsavoury deals with some snakes. Would you happen to know anything about that? As an upstanding citizen you surely must object to such dealings taking place in your bar, right? I know a barkeep must look out for his own, so he might not jeapardize the reputation of his bar, and that might be where I come in. I'm just a concerned citizen who doesn't take kindly to shady dealings taking place, if you get what I'm saying." Rawlins stretches his arms a bit, showing off his scars. "Speaking of which, it's also come to my attention that the Oyster's bounty might not be as rich as it once was. But if my attention is turned elsewhere, I might not have time to look into the matter further." Rawlins raises the ale to his lips with a wink. Not sure if you'll see this as a Diplomacy or an Intimidate, but I have a +6 on both. I think I'd see it as a combination of both.
