Good luck with the job hunt!

The map link from above isn't working

Raoh swings his blade hoping to make quick work of his target

1d20+3=19; Confirm 1d20+3=15; Damage 1d8+2=10, if I confirmed 20; 5' step back

"Yeah... this isn't good" he watches as wound closes

As the ratman closes on Raoh, he whips his urumi bent on teaching the thing a lesson

OA on R1 (yay reach weapons), 1d20+3=21; Damage 1d8+2=5[/ooc]

"Anyone have a clue what these guys are" he calls out as he jumps out of the way of man's blade and strikes again.

5-foot step (northwest); Attack on R1, 1d20+3=7

Jumping back Roah slashes his blade about in a futile attempt to hit the ratman. He gestures at the thing to come at him hoping to bait into rushing at him.

Raoh dashes into combat. His word uncoils and flys at the rat-thing

Move with 10' of the rat-thing; Urumi, 1d20+3=18; Damage 1d8+2=3

"That's something you don't see... well ever. I see someone over there, but they look like, well a rat" Raoh voice is puzzled by the looks of the attacker.

Raoh peers into the darkness hoping to see who or what shot the bolts

Perception 1d20+4, also Raoh has 60' darkvision.

Here the noises Raoh comes to complete stop and looks to his partner, nodding it the sound direction.

Undetoured by his outburst Raoh continues on. Moving closer with Bron

Stealth1d20+5=18; Perception 1d20+4=23

Stealth 1d20+5=7, GAH

Raoh clings to the darkness. He turns to Bron "What do thinks going on over there?"

What was suppised to be a whisper, comes out as normal speech and echoes through the night.

"Well let's get this over with. Bron you ready?"

Forgot to put this in my first post. First weekly craft check 1d20+6=16. 16*15=240sp. Atleast five more good checks to go.

Craft 1d20+6=16, 9, 25. 16*15= another 240sp. 9=A whole weeks worth down the toiler, plus I need to purchase another 500sp in materials. Already deducted from my profile. 16*25=400sp, brings me up to 880sp so far, not counting the 500 I had to eat on that other roll. So I need one more check 15 or better to complete it.

" Leave the scouting to me" Bron says while looking at the group. "I can move with stealth and decieve any who might otherwise know already our faces"

"That makes two of us. Though I'm sure your skill at at are much better than mine" Raoh smirks.

"Why don't the two of us sneak in check the place out. Uta, you and the others wait close by and if we need any help... Well make some noise, or set of a signal of some kind."

There should be time for a rest and for Raoh to work on his projects. Just for Raoh's reference, three weeks have passed since the start of the adventure. I would suggest making some kind of a plan before we begin the next encounter.

Yikes! I'll make post some rolls for you than. Post to come later tonight

If know one has anything to do Raoh returns home and tinkers with gadget, and comes back rested for tomorrow.

"I'm not much for planning. If anything we should just be prepared incase this meeting turns ugly"

"Between the Blot and this I wonder what else fate has in store for us"

"So Uta just how do you plan to get the folks otta here?"

"Then lets go. I'm sure Uta and Saul have much to plan. And I could go for one of the Goblin's mouth water steaks"

"Well while you two hammer out the details why don't the rest of us get a bite to eat. I'm sure the family could use some grub too"

"Saul, these plan you've made. You haven't done something you or any of us are going to be regretting"

Raoh leans back thinking about what to do next, and seeing if Saul answers Caladans question.

Yo

"True that a lot of worse things have occured on the streets. Again I think involving Saul in these matters will bring bad new to his door."

"While I'm all for helping those in need, mixing Saul into this problem is hardly a solution. Did anyone see you come in?" Raoh relaxes up against the wall.

Watches battle, tub of popcorn in hand

As Uta contiues his affairs, Raoh finishes the loading of the Saul's property.

"So let's get this back to the Goblin"

Raoh is helping with cargo and I think Bron is aswell

"Who knew that's I wake up today and be taking orders from the holy man"

Raoh follows Bron and begins helping with the cargo.

Raoh sheathes his blade, "What in the Nine Hells is going on? From picking up a simple delivery, now we're dealing with something else entirely"

Hold my action until I see what the baddies decide to do

Raoh quickly moves behind Uta and snakes his blade toward his target (G1).

Attack 1d20+3=15; Damage 1d8+2=7

Uh... what number initiative roll are we on? Looks like Caladan posted #1 and Raoh #3. I really don't remember where we're at.

Anyway, my ten initiative rolls are here.

third for me anyway. 1)the robbery, 2)angry customers, 3)now

Intitative is 23 (from my profile)

Raoh shakes his head slightly "Why does it always have to be the hard way."

"Come now I'm sure we can settle this without pummeling each other. It would be in your and our best interests to just hand over the cargo. My friends here" Raoh points to Branth and Uta, "really have itchy sword hands and I would like to go one day without seeing someone get hurt."

Diplomacy 1d20+4=21, I find it funny the guy with nothing in Charisma uses Diplomacy the most. You'd think it'd be the paladin... Anyone other than the fighter.

are we supposed to know who vankaskern is?
Isnt Vankaskerkin Saul's surname?

<Does his best Ed Mcmmahon impersonation> You are correct sir!

After waking late Raoh arrives "Morning all, so where's this cargo at"

"Yes the coins", Raoh feels uncomfortable about the Cheggs coins.

Taking a moment Raoh calls the Branth and the others together, "Before the snake incident, Chegg slipped me this bag of coins. Said it was for us, with his compliments."

He takes a moment and lays the bag on the table. "Personally I'd wouldn't have a problem with this. But with recent events I don't think it's a wise decision to take the coins for ourselves. I know a few of you want your share", he stares at Bron, "No offense, but I think we should find out what's going on before we take this."

"Now if you don't feel the same than please take your share. If not and you don't feel I'm trustworthy enough with the coins, I recommend Uta hold them till than" Raoh kicks himself as he recommends the holyman.

"Other than that I say we get some sleep and get this cargo outof the way in the morning."

Hey guys I may be offline for the next 24-72. Would you look after Raoh till then.

"If we do this than perhaps we should choose a neutral local. Going by your logic, going there could be a trap. But Clegg himself would thing coming here as a trap aswell."

"Well lets pay Clegg a visit and get this settled. We don't need innocent people getting hurt over this spat"

"Let's start by asking Saul. The two are competitors and Saul should know where we can find Clegg,"

"Hmm, maybe we should pay Cleeg a visit"

Bron Islar wrote:
Seeing that his companions have everything under control Bron heads back over to Roah while sheathing his dagger and says "So how bout that bag of gold from whats his name?

"Not sure, but it's too much of a coincidence for him to hand these to me and than the snake happen." he shakes his head "Let's focus on who or how the snake was brought in. After that we can worry about the coins"

Raoh pauses a moment "Was anyone else observing Clegg? The man was losing at the table, but the kicker is that he was losing on purpose"

"Not native, huh? How not native are we talking? Not from Varisia, a completely different continent?"

"How'd it go with snake, give ya any trouble" Roah asks as Caladan returns

"Violence... You really are a man of faith" Raoh casts a glance to the holy man, "Not the snakes fault if it hurt someone"

"You don't see something like this everyday", smirks as he reaches for his blade, "Gotta ask yourself how such a large thing was able to get in here."

"So I don't see a need to kill the poor thing. I think the tree of us can restrain it and release it somewhere safer outside of town. Maybe Branth would know a good place to let it go"

"Ooookay... Snake fiest gold later", closing the pouch Roah sprints to the kitchen

Raoh raises an eyebrow as Clegg leaves and hands him the pouch.

"He said it was for us, 'with his complements'", at that time the cook runs out screaming of snakes.

"See that's not good" he takes a deep breath and opens the pouch...

Raoh walk up to the table Clegg is playing at. "How's everyone doing tonight", he greets the players.

"How about I go and the table some drinks, looks like we have some big spenders here".

Sense motive 1d20+4=17; Trying to discern by Cleggs body language why he's losing.
