Rögna looks at the Flaming Skeletons, his face hidden behind his mask. "It may be our only option, friend Eòshli. If you believe your magic can assist me, I will trust you."

Long as there's room for Enlarge, I'm game. Also just a reminder Mage Armor lasts an hour so Rögna is currently AC19. Tonight I plan on reformatting my profile to have room for current effects.

Rögna and Izabelle run into the room, chasing down the Troglodytes. Rögna's strong body moves faster than Izabelle's, and he leaves her slightly behind as he rushes the nearest Lizard.

Fortitude Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
As he rushes in, the stench seems to leave him unaffected. Behind his mask there's no way of telling if he's bothered.

Slam Power Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Slam Power Damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

When he reaches the Troglodyte he swings his arm as hard as he can forward, attempting to slam his clawed fist into the lizard.

Rögna moves over to the body of the Lizard, takes a minor prick of its, and draws a symbol across its chest. Afterwords he gives Ridley a nod of thanks and moves with Rowan, investigating carefully.

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

Rögna unleashes myriad of blows, first slamming both fists into the creature in a savage 1-2 punch, and then ripping his claws back across either side of the Lizard.

Aided Slam Power Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Aided Slam Power Damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Claw Power Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Claw Power Damage: 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Claw Power Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Claw Power Damage: 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

When Rowan's healing magic closes his wounds, Rögna nods his masked head. "Thank you, friend Rowan. Your compassion will not be unrewarded."

Rögna moves to the door, taking a combat stance in front of it.

The beast is motionless when his master touches his wound. "Pain is a teacher, young Izabelle. We learn from it, and grow from it. Do not weep for my wounds."

Rögna bellows in fury when the Spider's fangs sink into him, piercing his tanned skin. With a furious roar he raises his arms, slamming them down and immediately raising them back up to rend at the arachnid before him.

Rögna investigates the room full of rubble, walking slowly inside. Between his legs Izabelle stands ready, waiting at a moment's notice in case anyone attacks him.

Ready Action Aid Another: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (18) - 1 = 17 Success, +4 to Rögna AC.

I realize if he does get attacked that comes down to our initiative checks, but if an attacker DOES attack Rögna and Izabelle IS in a position to offer aid, that's her action. Due to the nature of PbP I'm not entirely sure if this is the proper way to ready actions, so if you'd like me to do it differently somehow,
let me know!

Rögna moves into position with Izabelle behind him, his heavy body stomping with every step. He readies his claws up while roaring loudly, and just before bringing them down Izabelle stabs forward, causing the wolf a last second distraction.

Rögna is of course attacking the one south of him.

As for interesting weapons, since you seem to look for utility besides the fact it is a weapon, there is the Orc Stormram for bashing in doors. Or the Dwarven Boulderhelmet that increases your AC for Crit confirmation with +2 (does take the geadslot, though). Fauchard is good for Crit-fishing. A Slaver's Crossbow is for ranged tripping, but its ammunition is very expensive (and can't be made durable). Stormshaft Javalins are consumable javalins with Thunderstones inside, which could be used to deafen enemy spellcasters you can't/don't want to get close to.

There could be more, but I'm on my phone now, and searching during typing is something this thing doesn't want to do.

Not sure why I thought the Fauchard was illegal, ignore that. What's the Orc Stormram? I found the regular Orc Ram but it doesn't have anything about breaking doors.

If you prefer longsword flavor, you could always go for a bastard sword.

That's what I'm thinking now, yeah. Unless there is anything interesting I don't know about.

I'm playing a Mother's Fang Cavalier in PFS, and on creation they are proficient in one Exotic Melee Weapon and one Exotic Ranged Weapon of their choice.

That said, as a mounted Cavalier my Weapon of Choice is already a Lance with a Longsword as backup, and my Ranged Weapon of choice is a Composite Longbow.

All the decent alternatives seem to be banned (Butcher's Axe, Orc Hornbow, Fauchard, etc.). The Falcata provides negligible more damage, and frankly I'd prefer the Longsword for flavor reasons.

Are there any Exotic Weapons then, that have interesting utility uses? For ranged I'm going with a Heavy Crank Crossbow, to be able to pull myself up cliff/rock faces, drag down flying enemies, or pull distant things closer.

For Melee, is there anything useful like that? Maybe something good for breaking down doors or something along those lines? I am looking for PFS legal gear.

The masked creature steps before the fallen ruins, silent as it gently lowers the doll. Her feet move slightly to steady themselves, and after a surreal visual it's clear that it was never a doll, but rather a young halfling girl.

From somewhere unseen a small girl's voice giggles out, "That sounds like fun Rögna!"

A bizarre beast carrying a child's doll works its way over, falling into line beside the two fellow Pathfinders. His face is hidden behind a mask fashioned in the image of a bull's skull, and the skin of his shirtless body is pulled tight over his muscles like scarred, tanned leather. His legs and lower body are hidden under a heavy black skirt, but the most conspicuous article is the doll in his arms. It wears a frilly pink dress with a matching wide-brimmed hat, and her face is frozen in a smile.

"Greetings." The creature grumbles deeply from behind its mask, seemingly attempting to be amiable. "This one is called Rögna."

"This one is excited to begin."

Tita steps over to the table where DoctorEvil sits. "Aye, I be trying to figure this mess out. If'n yer willing to help a lass get all these rules straight, Tita can show you how we do it in the forest!" The imposing woman bursts into uproarious laughter, her crooked teeth poking out. She slaps the table with a wide hand and waves a wench over to serve them drinks, still letting out a quiet snort.

I'm fairly confident in the rules of PF and PbP posting etiquette, some of the things such as "Chronicles" I could use help with. Not terribly sure how it works, to show you're really earning your XP and gear and keep everything official. Excited for my first PbP campaign though!

Anyone able to help a newbie out? I recently created my character as an alias, not as a Pathfinder Society Character. I'd like to make them PFS, but I can't remake them as the name is taken, and I don't want to delete them as they have posted in potential PbP Campaigns to join.

Is there a way to convert an alias to PFS?

I'm trying to find a spot for my first PbP campaign, if you're welcome to a new player. I'd be rolling a level 1 Brawler.

A tall, powerfully built blonde woman steps into the lodge, her bare feet plodding heavily against the wood. "This be where to look for work, yeah?" Matted blonde braids swing as her gaze swivels around the room, her two front teeth poking from between her lips.

"Aya, there it be!" Her eyes light up when they see the posting board and she breaks into a run, ignoring the looks from patrons as she sloppily begins scribbling her name on the board. With her thumb she rubs off some of the blue face paint donning her, and presses it to the page beside her name like a stamp.

"Ye' who be in need of some muscle, Tita be your gal! Neither man nor beast can withstand my fists!" The woman turns and proudly flexes, muscles stretching against her lamellar armor before throwing a quick 1-2 punch and breaking into a grin. "And ye' who knows how to travel this stone jungle they call a 'city' be the one for Tita!" After letting out an unceremonious snort, she settles into a nearby chair, humming an off-beat tune.
