Quon seems shocked at Herbie's transformation "Herbie, are you one of those priests of nature? I heard they can change into animals, but I guess it makes sense that you change into a plant"

Quon has had no damage, thanks After the combat Quon folds his net carefully and then follows the others. His big eyes bulge a bit more when they see the frog on the bag, but he then jumps back as the vines attack! Fortunately Herbie seems to be able to speak to this cousin of his, so Quon waits to see what happens. Delay

Quon looks back at Ayla as she tries to follow him. Although it is hard to make out his expression it might be a smile of amusement. He casts shocking grasp and sneaks closer towards the big frog. GM, what I find really helps is when you bold the ones that can currently act. My usual way to do this (with some other examples): Initiative
I repeat this short block in (almost) every combat post I make, replying to your own post is an easy way to replicate it.

They change into giants and then ambush the loggers. As if humans aren't big enough on their own." Quon translates for Ayla, although it helps that he had already asked around in town. He turns towards Fabin "Do you have directions to Briar Henge? Might be a good place to ask around, although I am not sure they will be friendly"

Quon has played Tide of Morning, but not Tide of Twilight From the shadows a small form seems to materialize. It seems to be a huge tree frog, and has two bandoliers strapped over it's body. In those bandoliers you see several wands, a scroll and some flasks. It stands up on it's legs and then it might dawn on you... this is a grippli! "Hello, I am Quon."

On the topic of spoilers:
Did you know you can also do nested spoilers? Unfortunately...
Spoiler: you can not use the {spoiler=...}tag for the nested spoiler, but must use {spoiler}. That means you can do Ayla's knowledge check like this Knowledge Local DC 10:
You have probably seen Magabeus and Redalia on the forums before. They are your local Venture Officers for PbP!
DC 15 Spoiler:
Lady Ladile and Gary are similarly prevalent, and are some of the best that I have seen! DC 20 Spoiler: Korolan is a bit more obscure, due to his sub-optimal roleplay, and less frequent Forum Visibility. He is here to help though, so feel free to ask any questions! I like this method as it takes up less room in your posts and it is also obvious that it is a single roll.

Quon stands right next to the devil, his one hand sparking with electricity while his companions deal with it. He sheathes the rapier with his other hand. "I am sorry, I just could not do it. It seemed so vile and I did not know what would happen if I touched it. I will just contain the electricity, there might be something else that sees us as an enemy later." |
