What are some examples of house rules? What are some house rules you use? When is it okay not to enforce a rule? If I allow someone else not to follow a rule, do I have to do that for everyone?

I have read about alignments and have played some. But I am still curious about lawful people. What are some of the characteristics of a lawful character. What are examples of lawful deeds. Have you ever played in a campaign with lawful people? What would you say is the major differences between lawful-good, lawful-neutral, and lawful-evil.

I wanted to find some good stuff to make a more utility based character.
Like not high military, or economy, but more based around doing stuff like non combat based.

I want to try to make up for some past "mistake" I have done and need some ideas as to do it.

I need some help with starting a few different melee based characters. I am new to game. I just started playing Pathfinder, and I wanted to make a few really good characters. I was thinking about a cleric, some kind of a melee character, and a sorcerer of some kind. I am not certain what items to start with, which feats, which skills, I attempted to make a cleric, but not he is very good, or not. I want them to be really good long termed, very powerful overall. Also on a different note, I am not certain how I can achieve this, or what it is called but, I want to people to owe me favors, and money, and have people like me, and have good moral, and momentum.
