I always thought of it as having to do with halflings being able to slip about unnoticed. Although there is the idea from our own world of a slip of a girl, could be another possible fit.

I just started them on Crypt of the Everflame and plan on running all 3 modules so a Feb/March release would be great.

Order of the Hellhound. Haven't come up with anything beyond the name. I'm thinking along the lines of bounty hunters but I think an order like that already exist.
In my group the cohort can be any class, and is under the PC's control, followers are NPC classes only. The official character sheet sold by Paizo for use with the Pathfinder game has a page for your cohort, familiar, or animal companion, seems like that puts it literally in the player's hands. The knights of the inner sea book has a "squire" feat that allows you a cohort at level 1 then becomes the leadership feat at level 7.
Don't forget that a hunter may teach her companion hunter's tricks from the skirmisher ranger archetype instead of standard tricks. I'm currently playing a hunter in Hell's Vengance, those tricks are handy.

What if you multi class a blade bound magus with an occultist? Choose your black blade as your transmutation implement then invest mental focus and give it the transformative property.
They did say they are building him a suit, and he was swinging that bat pretty hard. I'm thinking a version of Steel is possible. But they could go Nightwing as well, he could have heard the old Kryptonian legend from Superman.
