Based on the outsiders shown so far, it seems like the outer planes have a similar level of tech as the Pact Worlds. Alien Archive has nanite inevitables, starship devils, and the barachius angels who try to prevent technology being used for evil (their entry also makes reference to hacker-devils). As to why their tech seems to have advanced at the same rate as that of the Pact Worlds, the simplest answer is probably that Starfinder and Pathfinder have different genres. That said, it's possible that the outer planes work in such a way that a location in an outer plane maps to a location in the material plane. So if you die in the Pact Worlds, you end up in an area of whatever outer plane you end up on nearby other people from the Pact Worlds. This would help to explain, for example, why outsiders summoned in Pathfinder didn't have laser rifles and whatnot even though Androffans already existed back then. I'm sure there are some inconsistencies with that explanation though.

Albans, sick of getting shot at and the general poor treatment he'd received since the party tried to leave (And on my own homeworld, no less!), angrily starts muttering and waving his hands around in the air. "Let's see, a simplified six dimensional tensor to model the local plane-time..." He grits his teeth in pain and concentration, dropping his usual facade of dignified calm and refinement. "...apply a shortest-path algorithm to find the best path from me to her..." He furiously draws matrices in the air with one hand while counting with his fingers on the other. "...and apply the resulting vectors with a small application of arcane energy in the local ether!" At that moment, a pair of colourless force bolts streak through the air toward the shobhad, visible only by the refraction of light in the air where they pass. "Oh! And carry the one!" Albans shouts a moment later, causing a third bolt to manifest and target the shobhad. Full round action to cast magic missile at the shobhad
Guessing I'll need a Will save, ignore if not:
Sorry for the technobabble, haha. Just trying to get an idea of how hacking reality would work.

Albans grins widely as Eli brings over the shots. "Don't need to tell me twice - drinking on the job is a time-honoured Akitonian tradition!" He empties the glass and winces. Alice is great! My mechanic was partially inspired by the Terminator; it's one of my favourite sci-fi characters. I can't help but be reminded of it every time Alice speaks. Also, Hakrinag's quote is amazing. Vesk Prime now has two moons in my head-cannon.

Despite his words, Albans smiles when his homeworld comes into view. To Alice, he says "It's quite all right. Not everything that is broken needs to be fixed. It leaves certain...opportunities... for those with the right connections." Albans tests the environment seals of his microcord suit before disembarking. Satisfied with the reassuring hiss of oxygen, he jumps softly to the ground. "Ah, that's better. No amount of functioning economy can possibly make up for the oppressive gravity on so many other planets!" "Right, well. Eli and Madrigal seem to know their lines. And Alice," he glances at the android uncertainly, "Well, I'm sure she'll dig up...something." Albans looks to Hudathan. "Say, you look like a capable fellow. What say you and I go talk to some of the local merchants?" Gods know I wouldn't mind the protection! Regardless of who accompanies him, Albans goes to a few merchants who his family has had dealings with, and attempts to appeal to their nostalgia for the old times...
"...No sir, of course not......didn't mean to leave you without a buyer, ha ha......come now, those words were clearly said in jest! Say, if not for old times sake, how about you share what you know in exchange for some rumors I've heard about the future of Castrovel coffee beans and related commodities?"

Daramak breathes out a sigh of relief as Laboni crosses the finish line. He stands up and tries to stretch some of the tension in his shoulders away; having no control over the outcome of the situation has been stressful for him. He joins the others in celebrating and says to Laboni, "No need for thanks, us Starfinders watch after our own. Just try to stay out of trouble going forward." Later:
Medicine: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17 Is Zigvigix having some kind of fit? Medicine: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22 Am I having some kind of fit? Daramak looks warily at the other members of his team, wondering if they are hearing what he is hearing.

I don't suppose you ever did figure out what the Soul Warden's Fort save should be, eh? It looks like the author meant for it to be high, like the will save, but copied the BAB column by accident.
