As the group of Pathfinders climb up the cliff and begin making preparations to press on, a red-headed woman in robes hurries to catch up to Kyra. A brief flash of color from her wrist is that of a tattoo in the shape of a colorful songbird.
"Kyra, wait up! We shouldn't let ourselves get too spread out; you saw what happened to VC Besnik earlier!"
She glances over her shoulder at the group behind her, expression brightening as she recognizes at least one familiar face.
"Garduk! I'm glad to see you're still alive! Try and stay that way so we can go get a drink after all this is over, okay?"
And then she's gone around a corner, after the other medics.

Based on this post on the previous page of Discussion it looks like we definitely played up. So I think everyone but Kanubis and myself would've gotten OOS gold anyway. That being said yeah, Kanubis' and my chronicles look like they need to be corrected to receive in-tier gold.

I don't think our second game fell under the Gameday event code so easiest thing to do would be to create your own 'event'. A lot of GMs do this and just report any games run outside of conventions to that particular event code.

"Weeeeeeell, this isn't how this was supposed to go," Nella groans, certain that they're in the soup good and proper now. Hoping to do what she can to mitigate things, she hurries forward into the room. As she does, she flexes her wrist and the same wand from earlier drops back into her hand. She waves it in an arc over the party, hoping that it'll help - at least a little.

She carefully approaches, providing nothing seems out of place to those with sharper eyes, curious for a better look. "Don't worry, I'm not going to take it...I know it's not what we're here for and it might actually be something the family acquired legitimately. But I'd like to know if there's a maker's mark or anything."
If nothing happens, Nella takes a moment to give the breastplate a closer look, curious as to its origins.

Nella follows along near the rear of the group with Tarragon, preferring to keep her eyes and ears open for signs of trouble while the others investigate the doors. Though she doesn't recall the azers mentioning any traps up her, Nella still can't help but feel uneasy.
While Tarragon keeps watch towards the stairs, she begins to scan for magical auras out in the halls and passageways.
"Western door seems a good a place to start as any," she whispers as Kulga heads that way to have a look at it.

Though it's not quite what Nella might've tried, she has to admit that Kanubis' plain manner of speaking and his explanation for their presence in the estate is surprisingly compelling.

She quickly raises a hand, should the efreeti seem about to speak.
"Haven't heard of us? That's understandable; we're primarily a Material-based organization but occasionally we're asked to make jaunts to other planes. Sometimes it's easier for us to spot potential weak points than it is for someone more local to the area, you know?"

Once all of the documents are planted where they need to go and the group is ready, Nella follows Brady and the others back out to the servants' quarters where they'd started.
"Qalkami said we'd have no more than 4 hours, right? Let's hope we can make quick work of nosing around the rest of this floor, if that's what we're going to do. Are we going to try dashing straight across to that other room on the far side first? Or are we going straight for the door to the other meeting room?"

"Agree on leaving the bits about the other families in the lineage section," Nella nods. "And it makes sense to leave the contracts in, well, the contracts section. Nella is only able to make partial sense of the documents and contracts that they've found but at least Kanubis is able to piece together some of the things that she can't.
"Hmm...this document here mentions the Sairazul's Tears - a set of priceless diamonds stolen from the shaitans’ Peerless Empire centuries ago, just like Kanubis says. And now we know who stole them! Pretty ballsy of these guys to leave that piece of evidence just lying around in here."
She then points to the Azerite Pact contract. "Now this is a legal contract that identifies a large population of azers who are bound to serve the Cinderfury family, having begun their service several centuries ago as recompense for services to the sultan. The bad thing is that it formally cuts the azers’ ties to a different noble family and mandates their servitude in all things in perpetuity and with no recourse for eventual freedom," she explains with a frown.
"But it's not all bad. See, there's similar signatures and language on another document here in this section. It identifies the Mishalq family as an obstacle to the Azerite Pact’s fulfillment and details a pretty wide range of possible approaches the Cinderfurys could take to ensure their rival wouldn't be able to interfere."
Nella looks up, a knowing expression on her face. "If you read between the lines...the Cinderfurys willfully sabotaged the Mishalqs’ finances and reputation. This is definitely something Qalkami would want to see."

"Hmm...it's been awhile but I have something that might speed things up a bit," Nella observes as she pulls out another wand; this one looks to still be in fairly new condition and clearly hasn't been used very often.
"This wand will give anyone the ability understand and read a language that you don't know," she smiles broadly. "It won't let you speak it yourself or write it yourself - so it wouldn't have been much help, um, earlier - but it should make things easier here. I think each charge should last about 10 minutes or so, okay?"
Nella has a wand of Comprehend Languages that she can use on those who don't know Ignan and is happy to refresh as necessary while we search the library. Just let me know how many charges to knock off!
Once she's made use of her wand the priestess herself gets to work over on the south side of the room, rapidly flipping through what she can with her eyes peeled for certain keywords related to security contracts.

Nella peers curiously over Kanubis' shoulder as he opens the doors out into what seems to be some manner of sitting room, but the portrait of the stern efreeti means nothing to her and she turns her attention back to the others.
"Here Kulga, I think this would probably benefit you the most out of all of us," she whispers, taking the gifted scroll of Heroism and passing it to Garduk. "But this is probably an arcane scroll so I can't actually use it myself."
"And Kanubis is right, we should probably try circling around as much as we can," she adds as she gently re-closes the double-doors that lead out into the main sitting area.

^Brady has a good point. I posted Nella's questions in-character because she was genuinely curious to hear if Kanubis had something particular in mind regarding the salamander. But speaking out of character, it's going to be pretty difficult to smuggle an unconscious body into a location that we're trying to break into ourselves.
I do appreciate the creativeness involved with wanting to potentially use the salamander as a hostage or bargaining chip if we get cornered and need a way out, but given what we know about efreets I'm not sure that they'd really care that much about the fate of one single employee.
