Oxnard simply shrugs and makes to follow... a bit embarrassed at his uninformed over-reaction. I'll be on a week long business trip, but should still be able to post from the hotel. Don't let me hold things up if not however, and feel free to DMPC my character.
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
Oxnard ceases his raging once he realizes that the others weren't dead, and shyly begins to shake his companions awake. "Well you could of said something. Sitting all save there behind your gate sleep spelling people for no reason. Do you get your jollies doing that. They could have fallen and hurt themselves".
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
Assuming Oxnard bounced off the gates Oxnard quickly looks around for another entry... "Murder! Murder most Foul!... He begins to bellow at the top of his lungs. "You've killed them you fiend".
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
Unless something intervenes. Oxnard just saw two of his friends fall... perhaps dead, and holds the gate guard responsible. 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13 STR Check to tear down gates 1d20 ⇒ 18 Initiative
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
Oxnard would have been waiting with Grenz... but when he sees his friends fall he will bellow forth. "What kind of trickery is this. Now you shall pay"! 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 Will save if this is still needed. 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 CMB to overrun and take the door.

As the others order and ask questions Oxnard lowers his voice to speak to them. "OK What do we do now? I'm not really familiar with how things work in the city... do we just start asking strangers"?
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
"Humpf. Well I guess it's off to Dead Fiddlers Square to try and get the lay of the land then". I'll be on a business trip this week, so posting may be spotty. Feel free to DMPC my character to help move things along.
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
Oxnard glares at the smart mouthed young lady, but holds his tongue, as he doesn't want the others to miss out on the nice sum of money for his pride. 1d20 ⇒ 18 Intimidate with a glare

Oxnard is not used to how things happen in the big city, so looks to the others for guidance. He knows what a proposition means in the small villages, but since it's never happened to him before, he is a bit flustered.
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
Taking off his travelling cloak, and shaking the road dust from it Oxnard agrees with Grenz. "I'm all for that. Do you know anything about this city... where it's safe... where it's affordable? It's all a bit overwhelming for this country boy".
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
"Yeah I agree. I mighty have to ditch this cumbersome armor. Thought it would protect me, but this territory seems to be more "be quite", and "don't sleep in your armor", so it does me more harm than good. Still let's run at least till they catch us or quit chasing".
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
I also would like to see the pace pick up a bit. Seems like we spend a lot of time with perception checks, and initiative checks etc. If necessary to speed things along, I'm fine with you making these checks for us. Frankly, it's been so long I've forgotten why we're out here.
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
"Much obliged mate. I'm gonna have to start sleeping in my armor, no matter how uncomfortable it is it looks like. Kinda rude for our enemies to attack us while we're sleeping".
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
Oxnard is just about to quaff a healing potion when he hears Grenz speak, and looks over to the still unconscious Baalintar. With a groan he arises and takes his beaten and bloodied self over to administer a potion to his fallen friend. 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 CLW Potion When he sees that this is enough to bring the man around, he takes his final potion for himself. 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8 CLW Potion
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
Knowing that he must keep control of his emotions, without the protection of his armor, Oxnard grabs up his shield, and swings at one of the impertinent rascals. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 Flail 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10 Bite of the flail. Sigh! Worst barbarian ever. AC is 12/10/12 for now. But ends up almost hitting his shin with the flail. "I must adjust to not having armor on when I swing this weapon".
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
Oxnard rises up, grabbing his flail as well. Don't worry, all the aoo's that hit will come to Oxnard. "Darn it all, I've got to find some way to sleep in armor". He grabs up his handy Flail and Flails about. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 Attack
Oxnard's AC at the moment is 10 until he can grab up his shield, so the first attack hits as well.
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
1d20 ⇒ 15 Initiative Brvheart I don't know how everyone else feels, but I would be very happy with you rolling initiative for everyone. Really speeds things up in PbP.
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
Was everyone supposed to roll 3d8 or just Grenz? 1d8 ⇒ 1
So Watch order is: Rhîan-nôn
Marching order is:
Dungeon
Maybe this could be put in the "Campaign" tab?
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
Why don't we come up with standard watch, and marching orders so we don't have to do this every time? Oxnard will take last watch both outdoors, and in dungeon environments. He should probably be close to the front... 1st or 2nd in outdoor environments, as his perception is good, and he's got a lot of HP's and AC. Maybe closer to the rear in dungeon environments as he has no night vision? Thoughts?
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
Oxnard travels enjoying being on the move again, except for the still slightly uncooperative Mule trying to stop and eat every blade of lush grass along the way. "Come on! You'll get dinner tonight when the rest of us do"!
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
Oxnard shows up ready to leave, dragging an obviously unwilling Mule by it's lead. "Common Buck. You're not really going to make me drag you all the way there are you? I promise my will is stronger than yours, so you might as well give in". "Are we ready to go"?
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
Oxnard will get a better rope, and a sconce added to his shield. Any chance of some CLW potions, and maybe an Everburning torch? He will also try to get a mule, and packsaddle / lead rope.
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
"There is also value in doing the right thing. These bandits were tough, but had we planned better we should have taken them all. Either decision is good by me. We can track them down now, before they have a chance to regroup, or see if there is some reward we can use to better equip ourselves for the encounter".
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
OK. Nobody spoke up yet, so Oxnard is snagging that last cure. If somebody else needs it we can retcon until the HP's are used I guess. Oxnard leaps to his feet, and only stumbles a few steps, trying to get his balance...still a bit weak from the injuries. He tries to look as threatening as possible, as he's not the most trusting soul, but he remains silent for now, content to see what develops. 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20 Sense Motive
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
Oxnard expresses his gratitude for the healing... "Thank you. I was knocking at deaths portal". Anyone who wants that second CLW better speak up, or Oxnard will greedily consume that one as well.
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
A loot list would be nice, but I don't have the time to keep it up. Oxnard sleeps in, and takes part in none of his normal early morning banter. He walks to a fallen log, and sits down, removing his armor padding, and changing the dressing on his many wounds. It is obvious, that he's nowhere near combat ready, and won't be for some time. Oxnard is still down 16 hit points remaining after a nights rest.
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
Oxnard slowly comes around. The first thing he notices is the Elf dribbling some herbal potion into his mouth. He sits up in a hurry, and the second thing he notices is pain... lots of pain. He slowly rises to his feet, and wincing, probes the many rents in his armor. "Thanks Fibek. Man those guys were skilled". Then looking around the battlefield. "What happened to the rest of them". BTW guys Oxnard won't normally just leap into combat, but we'd been standing looking at them so long, I just decided to jump-start the game. Let's use the Discussion thread to discuss tactics now that we're back posting again.
Male Human (Vanigoth); AC 18/10/18, HP 19/19, Rage 7/7, INIT+0, PER+7 Barbarian / 1 (Armored Hulk) CMB+5, CMD 14(15), F+5, R+0, W+3; XP 1055
Really! Would you roll some 20's or something!!! Oxnard falls to the combined bandits blows, his liver falling out of the rent in his obviously inferior armor, and begins to bleed out. -4/19

Raging HP 8/21, Rage 6/7 Oxnard reels at the mans precise strikes. How does he find the chinks in my armor so easily. Then roaring in anger, he redouble his attack on the man diagonal to his left. 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20 Raging Flail
