Also CON is high because archetype makes it the casting stat. INT wasn't dumped because of skill points and because Hexes still go off of it.

Actually CON is used for "determining the highest level of spells she can cast, her spell save DCs, number of spells known at 1st level, and any effects of her hexes (that are) normally determined by her Intelligence.".

Intelligence is still needed the for bonus spells per day, but not for hexes.

I went with the Spell Focus. Makes it easier, down the road, to pick up a few feats with that as a prereq (particularly Bloatmage Initiate as it fits the theme as well as adds a +1 CL to a school).

Probably looking to be a master of undeath of sorts (or at least a creator of same since the Cruoromancer can create more HD at 5th), although the other infusions (focused for +1 DC or sickening to cause sickened condition for a round) and higher CL (from future feats and favored class bonus) should allow for fun with other necromantic spells.

Becoming undead isn't really something he'd consider, unless he can become an awakened ghoul/ghast of sorts. At least then he could eat and still use spices like garlic in his cooking.

EDIT: Also, of course, looking to become a master chef ;)

The fluff is complete and the crunch is more-or-less there apart from some back and forth I'm going on with in my head, including the following:

There seems to be an unofficial errata for a couple of the dhampir variants: here which has also been applied to the d20pfsrd site. Basically the ru-shi ability modifications are +2 to Str and Int and a -2 to Dex (rather than +2 to Dex and Int and -2 Wis) which fits better with their description. Would you prefer I use that (I'm fine either way)?

I'm also tempted to ask if I could use the PFS Wizard thing about swapping out Scribe Scroll for Spell Focus? It helps with some of the future progression, I was pondering (although admittedly removes some nice versatility).

This is DarkNetwerk. It's a WIP at the moment. Just had a couple questions.

- Do you allow the Thassilonian Specialist Wizard archetype (also known as Sin Magic Specialist)?
- Are drawbacks allowed?

I don't normally allow multi-classing the same class with different archetypes.

All right. Thanks for the info. I'll just pick one archetype and won't add the bladebound archetype to it then.

Looking at how I was thinking on building this character, I've noticed that it would require too many (IMO) dips into items that are outside the guidelines listed. Rather than linking to each in hopes of getting approval, I'll put this concept aside for something else that remains within bounds.

Question:
- As we do not start with any equipment, will the Bladebound Magus find their Black Blade (which they acquire at 3rd level) somewhere in the early stages of the game, or will they have to "reforge" it later? Or would it be preferable to just not play the Bladebound archetype?
- Do you allow archetype combinations provided they do not replace or alter the same abilities?

Dotting for Interest.

Note: I've been in this game before, but they seem to tend to die off after a while... (some recently) mostly before escaping the prison (although one had made it further). I don't meta and generally create a different concept each time I apply though, to have a different experience. You do seem to be changing things up anyhow (with the 3rd level start, 9 players, and potential mythic levels later).

Fair warning, this being the Paizo forums, I think PG-13 is as far as we can go here.

Questions:
- Do you allow the hybrid classes (from the Advanced Character Guide)? I don't see it (the ACG) in the list of acceptable sources but I notice some applications using it.
- What about the Advanced Race Guide (or some of the splatbooks like Bastards of Golarion) for alternate racial abilities?
EDIT: - Do you allow the Racial Heritage feat, since we're hoping to stick to core races (with some notable exceptions)? There are some interesting Racial Archetypes...

EDIT2: Might go with the fat necromancer I've been toying with here (although I'd miss those traits).

Considering they're in like Flint with the ghouls and cannibalism, I think that the lovely Urgathoa, goddess of gluttony and undeath would fit as a patron diety for the cult.

I do hope this individual has taken the Corpse Cannibal trait. Then they wont risk disease or the like when noshing on the dead they've tossed into the hold in order to ripen enough to add the extra flavor.

Perhaps, rather than continuing a game that you are not enjoying, we should just call it a day.

Question: I've been putting together the list of crew we've tried to influence in my profile. Can you tell me if the failure makes them have a worse attitude or leaves it alone, or it depends on the person (in which case we'll need to know which)? Also I'm not sure which rigger Sylvianna was talking to when she failed.

Kroop Drunk?: 1d2 ⇒ 2 OMG. This fellow is always soused
Cook's Mate: 1d6 ⇒ 5 Bull Session. And now I'm getting there too.

Fort save vs. Rum: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7 Addicted!
Cha bonus: 1d4 ⇒ 4

Ostarian drinks with Kroop, both of them feeling the effects of the alcohol. "You know," the large man began, smiling at Kroop, "I can start seeing the reason you drink this all the time. It's actually not that bad!"

Night action
The rum flowing through his veins he moves up to the scowling Aretta and introduces himself.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25

My question was related to the fact that the job requires a successful check using Skill A or Skill B (e.g. for the second half of Ostarian's job, he had to perform a DC 15 Intelligence or Profession )cook) check). Do we just pick one and roll, or do we roll each skill in hopes that one of them passes?

Male ru-shi Thassilonian gluttony specialist / cruoromancer 1 HP 8/8 {effects: none} | AC 11 (T11 FF10) | F+2 R+1 W+1 *| Init+1 | darkvision 60', low-light vision, perc -1

Cook's Mate: 1d6 ⇒ 6 Special Occasion
Kroop Drunk: 1d2 ⇒ 2 Kroop Drunk
Work Dilligently

Ostarian arrives for his duties when word comes in that the Captain is planning something special, looking to have one of the pigs butchered. The fat man looks over at Kroop, but the man is senseless, lost in his cups. Damn... Looks like it won't be another day of drinking for me. Looks like the fool can't handle his cups.

Profession (cook): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Intelligence: 1d20 + 5 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 5 + 4 = 11
Can we use the other check at the same time?
Profession (cook): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 Nevermind

He begins the work on his own, slaughtering the pig neatly with an expert hand. When trying to prepare the beast, however, Kroop's body was in the way of much that he needed, not to mention the distraction of the rolling of the floor beneath him, resulted in something of a mess.

In the evening, assuming he survived the beating likely to follow, Ostarian has a chat with Samms Toppin, asking "Do you not risk injury on duty when you're not wearing any footwear like that?"
Influence Barefoot Samms Toppin (Diplomacy): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15

I don't know all the vaguaries of PFS.

- Is the False Focus feat available? Then you get up to 4HD free per casting (since it's valid up to 100 gp).

- There is also the transmutation spell Blood Money (take 1d6 damage and 1 STR damage +1 per 500 gp of component [so animating a 10 HD creature, normally 250 gp would be 2 STR damage and 1d6 regular damage]).

- Is Dhampir completely disallowed, or you just need a boon for it? If the latter, is the Racial Heritage feat available? If so, can you take RH (dhampir) without a dhampir boon? Again if so, then my earlier comments on the cruromancer are valid.

In the evening, Ostarian decides to talk to one of the other crew mates, the earlier rum having some effect. "Tilly was it? What brings you aboard this wonderful seafaring vessel?" he asks with a small note of sarcasm. "The rum is nice, and although I have had better vintages, the islands do seem to have a knack for it."

Cha bonus from earlier rum ration: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Influence Tilly Brackett: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 6 + 2 = 20

^That's what I was talking about re: flavor ;)

Hadn't seen the deathwine spell. Looks tasty. Particularly for the dhampir/undead necromancer. Heal _and_ get a nice bonus to CL.

Fun trait to consider: Corpse Cannibal (you get to eat rotting flesh without any nasty side effects! Yeah you get a bonus vs. disease too, but whatever. Eat rotting flesh!).

If you're dhampir (or take Racial Heritage - dhampir), the Cruromancer archetype is nice. Bonus to DC or add a sickened effect at early levels and at 5th you can control more undead than the norm (5 HD/CL... and remember all those bonuses to CL mentioned earlier?).

Prestige class-wise:
The bloatmage is ok to continue the fat flavoring (and the Blood Points are an interesting way to be able to cast a spell more often).
Agent of the Grave fits quite nicely. Lose out on a level of spells (and, unfortunately, a CL) but gain double your AotG level for the purposes of controlling undead (nice after 5 levels of cruromancer above). 5th level and you can add non-Wizard necromancy spells to your book and a bonus to survive the change into undead. Other interesting (and some less useful) abilities in between but it does fit the flavor all the (Whispering) Way.

Gluttony is the only way to go. The other specialists are mere flavor profiles on your palate.

Dhampir favored class (+1/4 CL to necromancy spells)
Varisian Tattoo (+1 CL & 0 lvl SLA - they are based on Thassilonian-style runes after all, works for any specialist)
Bloatmage Initiate (+1 CL but medium encumbrance - very flavorful for the glutton (or perhaps even the sloth)!)
Deific Obedience {Urgathoa} (Oh look! +1 CL to necromancy spells - fits the flavor too!)

Fort save vs. Rum: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20

Ostarian drinks and chats with Kroop about alcohol and cooking. Interesting flavor, this rum... Not the best of vintages, but I suppose choice isn't big around here.

I don't suppose you could post the jobs/ship activities/etc. in the Campaign tab? Roll20 is a little difficult for me to access (looks like only by mobile where I can't properly view the maps and I have to reaccess every time I want to switch ship job/action documents).

So I'd roll a DC 5 fortitude save or become addicted? Is there no save against the fatigue or Con damage?

I was able to fool Roll20 into thinking my phone was not a phone, but I don't have complete functionality. I can read the actions, more or less (it shows up under some icons in places) but I can't move around/resize the map area to see what/who is where.

Ostarian accepts the position of Cook's Mate, doing his best not to seem to eager at the prospect. Thank the Lady that I wasn't assigned to one of those other labor intensive tasks! I wouldn't know the first thing about the kinds of things they do here. Probably end up in a box like those two... He sighs and moves down to the galley to begin his day's work.

Cook's Mate: 1d6 ⇒ 5 Bull Session
Kroop being drunk: 1d2 ⇒ 2 Kroop drunk
Not sure how that works out. Do I roll anything else or, because it's a bull session, it doesn't matter if he's drunk?

Ostarian will humbly accept the cook's job. He does have Profession (cook), although it's a Wisdom skill, so it's not that great.

Ostarian smiles at the attractive redhead as he joined the others in line. What a delectible morsel! His pleasure is swiftly washed away as he listens to the Captain's speech, a sense of panic flitting through him. Make me into a pirate? Are they compeltely mad?

When Mr. Plugg orders the group to climb the rigging to the crows nest, the man looks down at his thick fingers and large form, then up at the rigging. He looks over at Mr. Plugg, but it's clear the man demanded that they all performed the task. With a sigh, Ostarian grabs some of the rigging lines in his meaty hand, giving them a tug to test their strength. Satisfied for the moment that they should hold, he makes his way upwards, seemingly in haste, but in reality, checking the lines before settling his weight upon them. He makes sure he is slow enough that he does not win this little test. Once making it to the top, he doesn't bother waiting around and begins his descent.

Once his feet are firmly on the rocking deck, Ostarian shivers as he makes his way back to the others. I can't believe they would even entertain the thought that I should be up in the rigging unless they were hoping for torn lines and a hole in the deck... Ahh, Lady Despair, this was not an experience I will relish... and I am doubtful the food will be particularly flavorful either, given the crusty demeanor of these pirates...

There's always the good ol' fashioned keelhaulin'. That's always fun. It could be followed by bilge work if you somehow survive or you could be turned into sashimi yourself if you don't. But you might be right, maybe they'll go light on you and just give you several lashes with the Cat.

Just a note, drawing a weapon does not provoke an attack of opportunity (and if you have a +1 BAB you can draw a weapon as a free action as a part of movement). Sheathing the weapon does provoke of course.

Perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2

Ostarian looks to the group of pirates and recognizes Scourge. He was there... My suppositions are likely correct. Press ganged. Nothing to it now, I'd best follow their orders for now, until I can figure things out.

The obese man sighs before forcing his large form over on it's side to allow him to stand up, although a little unsteady. He then trudges off towards the deck, expecting the worst.

Male ru-shi Thassilonian gluttony specialist / cruoromancer 1 HP 8/8 {effects: none} | AC 11 (T11 FF10) | F+2 R+1 W+1 *| Init+1 | darkvision 60', low-light vision, perc -1

Sleight of Hand: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22

Ostarian groans softly as consciousness returned to him. Drugged, he cursed under his breath. Not business but a trap. No wonder he was staring so incredulously at me. I must have ingested several doses before succumbing. He opens his eyes a little, squinting in the lantern light, feeling a little queasy as the room seems to shift around him. Potent drugs... No... wait... this is a boat. Pirates? It stands to reason... drugged in a pirate port, end up on a ship, he sighs, closing his eyes once again. Why on earth would they press gang me? As if I have anything to these fools could want...

The large mans hands begin to feel along his form. No major injuries, that is good, but it seems my things have been taken, he frowns for a moment before his roaming hands find something at his belt, concealed under the cotton-covered folds of his obese flesh. My pouch! Well all is not lost, but I'll need to be judicious with it's use. Until I find my book, my power will be limited.

I figured a spellbook would be a bit too big to conceal and be left behind by his captors (it's a 3 lb book after all).

Male ru-shi Thassilonian gluttony specialist / cruoromancer 1 HP 8/8 {effects: none} | AC 11 (T11 FF10) | F+2 R+1 W+1 *| Init+1 | darkvision 60', low-light vision, perc -1

If Ostarian dies, he'd like to come back as a fat Lich.

I like the Evil cleric angle, only because Ostarian can be healed by the negative energy stuffs.

As for undead, I believe that Skeleton Crew is a sea-worthy undead raising spell, as the skeletons have Prof (sailor), so can actually do some real work. The regular skeletons and zombies can man the bilges and the siege weapons.

Re: working together. Pirates are generally Chaotic in alignment, but they still adhere to a code (the pirate's code), so we can just take that.

On Roll20: I don't have access to Roll20 at work (or rather my 'brouser is incompatible and out of date), and it doesn't seem to have mobile capability (or at least the last time I tried). Weekends are also generally an off-time for me, but I can see if I can get a small post up during that time.

Ostarian doesn't necessarily care too much about slaves, although they have their uses. For most mundane tasks, however, undead is the way to go (for him). Hope noone has a problem with relaxing and letting skeletons and zombies to the heavy lifting while we have some fine meals.

Thats my overweight, Also im not quite sure how that might hurt you, same with hedonistic and fatigue, flaws & drawbacks need to do something that you cant just sidestep, taking a flaw of having -2 strength (not saying there is one) on a wizard just seems like it does nothing to actually be a flaw to you. PM me with an explanation how it might slow you down and we can discuss it from there.

That's the same overweight flaw that I have. That's why Ostarian is 228 lbs (where 220 is the max for Dhampir) which means he has 8 lbs of encumbrance as a baseline. High enough encumbrance reduces mobility and gives an ACP to many skills. If I use this flaw to get Bloatmage Initiate then it might have a less of an effect since it auto sets encumbrance to medium (although I find the downside of the feat to be something of a flaw as well, particularly since you can get the same or better results with the Varisian Tattoo feat). The extra 8 lbs could still become a factor should he be carrying enough other items to bring him into Heavy load. This could more easily happen with penalties to Strength (such as from the Fatigue).

Regarding Hedonistic, it means the first 4 hours of every day he begins as fatigued. This means that if he does something within that time that would normally cause fatigue, he would end up exhausted. The Strength penalty for fatigue could make encumbrance more of an issue as well as affecting certain skills while the Dex penalty further reduces certain skills yet also has an effect on his Armor Class, and these are worse for exhaustion.

Now, normally, I would agree that these things don't have a large effect for a wizard (although lower mobility and lower AC is something a wizard would worry about). For this game, however, from what I've seen of the beginning and the checks we have to make, these flaws and drawbacks will have a greater effect.

If you like, I can swap scores around so Strength ends up as 11 and Wisdom as 12 which will make changes to encumbrance levels more easily attained. Frankly, I have no idea if he'll even survive the job selection process (he almost died the first time around). Maybe I should slip Feather Fall into his spells known/memorized.

This fellow had been created for a S&S game that died before we even had been assigned tasks. It shouldn't be too difficult to modify according to the new creation rules.

6d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 6, 2, 3, 3) = 20 - 14
6d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 2, 2, 6, 3) = 16 - 11
6d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 3, 3, 1, 4) = 21 - 14
6d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 6, 3, 6, 2) = 20 - 15
6d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 1, 5, 4, 2) = 20 - 14
6d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 5, 1, 6, 3) = 27 - 18

Those'll work.

EDIT: Just to have things in this message to make sure they are allowed...

He's a jiang-shi born dhampir (an alternate heritage).
He has the cruromancer racial archetype with the Thassilonian Specialist in Gluttony (necromancy school).
He has the Hedonistic drawback (which means he'll likely be fatigued for much of the adventure, lol).

I'll take the Overweight flaw, since I was playing him as such anyhow, and was planning on taking the Bloatmage Initiate feat (+1 CL but treated as medium encumbrance) at some point (either right away or at 3rd, was planning on the Varisian tattoo as well, and perhaps the Deific Obedience to Urgathoa but that's later too).

Well at least you have some direct communication with him. That's good to hear.

As long as he projects a time in the near future where the workload will die down for him and assuming he hasn't lost interest in continuing, then I have no issues with waiting.

I'm not sure that Ostarian, in his condition, could perform any ship actions, so didn't post any.

@Ri'el: Considering Sandara performed First Aid on Ostarian without orders (and risking the ire of the officers) and also gave him his spellbook and component pouch, I expect she is already in the "helpful" zone with regards to diplomacy (heck, she's doing us favors without our having to request it, so I'd almost rate it as higher than helpful, if there was such a thing), so you might want to use your skills on others not already in our camp (unless I suppose you're attempting seduction, lol).

Ostarian allows himself to be led and half carried towards the crew quarters, thoroughly enjoying his proximity to the lovely redhead. "Yes... with these fellows, I am sure there are many who would want off this ship. Myself included. I am not sure I am built for working on a ship." He smiles when she offers him his spellbook and component pouch, touching them reverently. "Many thanks my good woman," he says.

Once alone with the woman he continues. "With these I may be able to speed along my healing somewhat. At least after a few days of rest. So you are a cleric?" he speaks softly. "Then perhaps I should be more specific with regards to my... condition so as to not have an accident later. The normal energies that would heal the living, instead when directed at me, may, in certain circumstances cause me harm. The energies typically associated with death that would normally harm the living, however, seem to have a more... curative result with me. Keep that in mind should something else befall me and you have the admirable urge to assist me once again," he finishes with a smile and a small groan as he lies back in his cot.

As the acrid scent of the smelling salts invade his olfactory senses, Ostarian's nostrils flare and eyes snap open. He struggles in order to sit up and his eyes fall upon the fiery redheaded woman. "My aren't you a delectable morsel...," he says before wincing, whether in pain or chagrin is difficult to tell. Fool, wake up! This is not one of your old family slaves. From the sounds of things she's something of a healer. Quite dangerous. Play the nice naive rube. "My sincerest apologies my lady, my mind was muddled from the fall. I had the briefest of impressions that I had entered the world beyond, and my lips got ahead of my intellect. I am Ostarian Thrune, at your service. I am, shall we say, out of sorts. Unfortunately, my dear, you had best keep your less... mundane of curatives to yourself. I am afraid that I suffer from an allergy, something of a curse I would say in this particular situation, let me tell you. If I had some of my things, I would easily bring myself to ship shape, so to speak, in no time at all. Given our present circumstances, however, it seems bed rest and light duty is all that will work in the interim."

The obese man glaces over at Ri'el as he makes his entrance and takes the proffered berry, turning it over in his hands before popping it into his mouth, rolling it around on his tongue to savor the flavor. "Holly Berry? With a little extra it seems. Not bad. My thanks, but Ms. Quinn and I have already discussed the option and it was determined she has best keep such magic to herself or save it for those who could fully use it. You are correct that in my current condition, I am limited in what I can accomplish. I can, perhaps, stick to some light duty, the cooks aide perhaps, given my experience in the culinary arts, along with the tender ministrations of the skilled woman here, or that of this young man perhaps," he adds almost inquisitively after Igorian's comment, "should help me get right as rain in short enough time."

I'll wait on the berry in case Rorrix tries to kill me off early. I did roll a 20 (edit oops 19) on that last roll, so long as the cure spell doesn't kill me outright, he'll live (and everyone will know of his weakness).

Also he can become conscious sooner with a decent roll (although it might be difficult if he's on the edge of death) EDIT: or smelling salts.

Gotta go now though so no more posting likely today

Stabilize: 1d20 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 1 - 2 = 6
Stabilize: 1d20 + 1 - 3 ⇒ (7) + 1 - 3 = 5
Stabilize: 1d20 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 1 - 4 = 16

After a few moments Ostarian stops bleeding, breath ragged. For the moment, he lived.

Lol. I forgot about that myself. Good point about the delay. Ostarian was taking his time.

I'm ok with bed rest. A few days off won't kill me (I am busy, just lucky to find time to post). And maybe a "when he wakes up, put him with the cook, he'll be good for nothing else."

I guess it's good it's the first day not the second. Hedonism would've given me a -2 (and if I had been able take bloatmage initiate feat at first, it'd be another -3).

@Ri'el: You didn't get to the nest until your 17th roll. Ostarian fell on his 9th. You wouldn't make it in nearly enough time (make it to the nest, chat with folks, cast spell, climb down). I'm hoping for an npc to step in with something.

Also, this fellow is built for cook. He even has the profession.

Well at least I have an excuse for not being part of the conversation up on the crowd nest apart from being busy the long weekend. Did get my request for cook's aid though, lol.

Ostarian lugged his hulking form onto theck with the others. On the way he noticed his dagger was still belted to him, trapped under his fleshy folds. Well, at least they weren't too thorough. Still, my pouch may have been better.

After the speeches, the fat man stares at his meaty hands and then up at the rigging... and then back down at himself before looking at the one known as Plugg, his ears perking up at the mention of... "Cook? Why, a it happens, I do know my way about a kitchen and spice rack, why I...," he trailed of under the glare off the man and sighed moving to the rigging, giving one last appraising glance at the man. Probably not very tender, but he'd become so once his flesh had aged a bit... He then made his attempt.

Climb rolls:

1 1d20 ⇒ 18 7.5
2 1d20 ⇒ 20 15
3 1d20 ⇒ 10 22.5
4 1d20 ⇒ 5 2d6 ⇒ (2, 1) = 3

5 1d20 ⇒ 18 7.5
6 1d20 ⇒ 20 15
7 1d20 ⇒ 6 15
8 1d20 ⇒ 7 15
9 1d20 ⇒ 3 1d6 ⇒ 6

Luck seems to be with him at first, but just as the handling reached the nest, Ostarian lost his grip, plummeting to the deck below with a resounding boom. He groans in pain that even his cushioned form couldn't prevent. Groaning he looks over at Plugg. "It seems I've lost at rigging. Is that cook's mate position still open, or..." he sighs under the man's glare and continues to try to climb. He doesn't make it as far as last time before plummeting to the ground. This time the fall was particularly bad, as Ostarian now lies unconscious and bleeding.

Just letting folks know in case they haven't seen it: The first (and second) post is (are) up in the gameplay thread!

Ostarian groaned softly as he opened his eyes into the creaking darkness. Drugged, he cursed under his breath. No business but a trap. No wonder he was staring. I had probably ingested several doses before falling.

With the lantern light now piercing the back of his skull, the obese man squints his eyes to allow his eyes to adjust. Pirates, he sighs, closing his eyes for a moment, why would they press gang me? As if I have anything these fools could offer... His mouth salivates and stomach gurgles at the talk of sausage and breakfast, the purported source not seeming to phase him. Breakfast he says... I'm guessing there won't be any for the having. Nothing for it now. I'll have to run with this until the situation changes. Hopefully I won't be skin and bones by then.

Ostarian slowly and carefully rolls himself over to get into a better position in order to raise his hefty frame up from off the floor. He groans at the crick in his back caused from lying on the hard wood and leans from one side to the other, trying to stretch it out. Looking at the man for a moment he licked his lips, I wonder if I'll have a chance to feast on you? "Pardon me good sir, I seemed to have misplaced myself, could you direct me to this 'deck'? Will our breakfast be there?" He winces at his last question, unable to keep it in, his hunger having forced his hand.

Oups. Fixed. Got rid of the SLA.
Ready to start although, fair warning, it's a long weekend coming up (Sat-Mon) here in Canada. A lot is planned, so I'm not sure about the quantity/quality of posting during that time (as, if I am able to find time to post, it'll be from my phone).

All right, I'm thinking on taking the Hedonistic drawback. Ostarian's background, along with the Urgathoan concept of gluttony and excess seem to fit with it. It probably means he'll be fatigued more often than not, but even that fits with his girth.

The bonuis trait I'll get for him is Iron Liver (adds +2 vs poison/drugs and +4 vs alcohol effects) as with his eating/drinking to excess, including munching on rotting corpses (which is dealt with in his other trait), I expect he may have built up a bit of resistance there too.

I look forward to feasting on... er... playing with you all.

I might have a couple of minor adjustments to my character. Maybe a drawback/trait.

If anything happens to Jack and it's late enough in our career, perhaps I could "bring him back" after a fashion. No guarantees his flesh would remain. A guys gotta eat :p

Hrm... the number of arcane submissions have expanded faster than my waistline. They do seem a little on the thin side, but perhaps as a whole, they could sate my hunger. Hrm... are Magi considered "arcane" or something else (such as "melee" or "miscellaneous")? I need to know if they are to be on my plate with the others or not.
