"Perfect answer!" - Oloch roars in laughter, offering a clap on Archon's shoulder - "As many as you think you can take then!"

“Oh, so I did. I’d forgotten!”

She pats the seething Oloch on the head with a reassuring and slightly damp tentacle, then picks him up and croons gently to him.

“Oloch, dear, now don’t you fret!
It’s no hardship to get wet
No naiad would dare to drown
The fiercest half orc in this town!”

The half orc's bloodshot eyes stare Mistress Koi completely wide, but as she moves so gently he just shakes his head, and can't help but laugh - "Crazy... All of this is crazy"

Pleasure adventuring with you all. Hope we can do it again. Excuse my rudeness, but I must go. Is time to get ready for the Grand Convocation. Is weird for me to stay in Absalom though.

"And with you brother" - Oloch offers Jan a truly crushing handshake - "And all of you" - he adds to the others - "I hope you will now join me for at least TWO beers in celebration of our accomplishments?" - he roars.

I must echo everyone's opinion Hmm - I admit I wasn't on top of my game all the time, and I still think you should try your hand at GMing something other than PFS here on the boards. Your descriptions are vivid, and the NPCs do come alive with your interpretation - given an option to develop them beyond the scope of a PFS scenario, I think the sky would be the limit. Just a thought ;)

The Fox dismisses the Confusion spell, still holding on to the scroll fragment. "Do I have your solemn word as a gentleman that you will help me solve this?"

ORDER:
Fox, Sutekh, Oloch, Wadi, Jan, Dioneo, Archon, Serket

The whole party is up!

"Not really" - Oloch growls under his breath, turning to the others - "Are we negotiating? WHY?!" - then back to the Fox.

But before he can do anything else... PUFF! And the group is left with a wide eyed half-orc staring at them - "What the...?" - he stammers.

Oloch snarls, then swings at the crocodile again - "Dumb beast - you should value self-preservation"

Greatsword: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 11 + 2 = 25
Damage: 2d6 + 13 ⇒ (2, 1) + 13 = 16

Oloch shakes his head for a split second, snarling at their opponent - "I'll be dealing with you later - I promise it will not be pleasant" - his red gleaming eyes assure him.

Oloch grunts and sniffs at the man, staring at him intently, then at the crocodile, and lastly at the rainbow ranger and his pet.

"Wait, wait, wait - what kind of answer is that? "The crocodile is yawning'?" - the half orc's mood is clearly taking a turn on to the sour side - "We are doing what needs to be done to plumb the depths of the problem" - he snorts - "And why the heck are you barricaded in here, with a trap in place that could clearly only have been set from within?" - then takes a step forward - "And such a light hearted trap, isn't it? Almost a joke. What's the use? Because protection it is not" - he presses on.

"Wait, Oloch." Wadi holds up his hand. "I am not sure it was Zarta who the Fox impersonated. Most likely it was Virml instead. In any event we do need to hurry...and also we need to let Mistress Koi know about this. She could flood the whole damned Archives and it would do no good!"

"Huh... I never said I thought it was Zarta being impersonated" - the half orc shrugs - "I actually think it is Virml also"

At the door he stops short - "Wait! This door is trapped" - he warns the others, stepping closer to point out what he noticed.

"So, the Fox is out - we were deceived from the start" - Oloch growls - "It seems we have a score to settle - with steel. Shall we look for the remaining scroll fragments, or move out of here immediately?"

Gorum is STRONGEST! All do like Gorum commands, fools!!

Oloch surfaces, looking all around - "Where is she?" - he growls - "I'm going to wring that little neck of..." - then stops short.

Listening on his companion's conversation, he stops short - "She exploded?"

Oloch grins widely, and squeeeeezes.

"Damn!" - the half orc thinks to himself, still diving to grab the fey by the neck.

Oloch emerges spitting feathers and insults, after having accidentally bit down hard on an embalmed white owl on his way down after here beloved.

"Beloved..?" - he growls to himself, eyes red with anger - "Where is she..? Ah, there!" - he takes a deep breath and dives back under after the fairy mother, intent on keeping her under until he is satisfied.

Not really sure how to go about this, but Oloch is mad - he wants to grab her by the neck, and keep her underwater until she passes out. Oh mighty GM Hmm, what should I roll?

Oloch just doesn't care, he needs to get to the pretty, pretty woman.

So he JUMPS down - "MINE!"

Oloch stupidly drools as he stares at the beautiful beautiful fey - "Pretty..." - he mumbles - "We wants" - then seems somewhat dismayed as she is dragged away by an horrible frog - "No..."

Oloch growls and looks around for an opportunity to get up at the fairy, but then he heard Dioneo's words. He was a smooth talker but the half orc did not believe words would solve this one.

Putting the sword away, he follows after Jan with a sound "Hrumpf"

Climb: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17

Tooth Fairies? - they are soooooooo cool. I want one.

"Crocodiles below, and evil fairies above?" - Oloch roars - "This is a nice welcome if I ever saw one!"

Cannot access the google doc right now - will move to the closest fairy and attack.

In spite of the effort, the half orc first raises an eyebrow, then bursts into laughter - "I say you've passed, oh Archon, the Manta Ray"

In my head that's just how the game goes - it wouldn't make sense to change your character's actions for something you may suspect about in an OOC way ;)

No drama - Oloch doesn't like it, and me neither. All good.

Already leaning his weight against the door, Oloch stares as Archon turns into a manta ray - "What the..? He dons magical cloaks just like that?" - the pragmatic half-orc sounds incredulous - "Why would anyone do that?"

Strength: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21

I went for the basics on that scroll fragment, and tried to piece the capitals together but... No go :D

To be fair... Maybe Sutekh didn't actually open the door, but simply unlocked it? :P

Int Check: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (3) + 0 = 3

"I thought we were supposed to protect any further harm to come to the manuscripts in this place" - Oloch grumbles - "Time to get picking up everything before it gets ruined Sutekh!" - he adds, wading into the room, and beginning to lift furniture upright, producing a good place to store the manuscripts and books in - away from the rushing water.

"We have indeed met Mistress Koi. I am Oloch Firebrand." - Oloch nods, an eyebrow risen impossibly high - "Not only that, we had agreed to assist you in catching the slippery fox you intend to" - he continues - "However, and since we are not aquatic creatures by nature, you had agreed to stop the water flow, lest we be unable to continue our search"

"Lets go then" - Oloch grumbles, starting the ascent.

Wadi plucks the book out of Oloch's hands and stuffs it inside his pack. "Yeah, I think we have spend enough time on this!" He turns to face the others. "Since I know the Fox knows we are coming, we should not keep him waiting."

Oloch raises an eyebrow at Wadi's rudeness - "Yes, you can keep the book" - he answers without skipping a beat.

"I bet 5 gold she has forgotten all about the deal with us" - the half orc shrugs as they notice the water pouring again - "We should remind her" - he adds, moving for the stairs.

The half orc grunts and shrugs - "I am not sure to whom this should be returned - I'll leave it up to you, but Shaine seems the obvious recipient" - the massive warrior turns the book around in his hands - "Diseases of the Turtle" - he chuckles - "At least it is not screaming at us every time we open it"

Hmm, if one places the bookmark on the book, are the voices still heard and blabbering whenever one speaks?

Its all good Archon - it would obviously never be a Sphere of Anihilation (no need for links :P) - I'm just going with Oloch's flow on this one :D

"Do you want me to read its contents to you?" - Oloch inquires.

Apologies for the absent posting people - I'm travelling until Thursday. Will try to keep up.

As Archon pushes Oloch into the darkness, the half orc comes out back again snarling, moving right up to the cleric's face - "I DO see the book, and you will not do that again" - he barks - "Or I will perhaps decide what sort of test should be applied to you" - the furious holy warrior stands there staring at his travelling companion - "Since you took it upon yourself to 'shove' me into a test you believed appropriate, I am sure you agree I am free to do the same"

"IF you survive the test, like you say I did, we will have another chance to debate theology, and I will speak about what guides me whenever I wish to do so Archon"

"Bah" - Oloch turns his back and heads back into the darkness shaking his head - "All of this because of not wanting to admit you are afraid"

Oloch will move to retrieve the book. If the light has been cancelled, he simply walks up to it and grabs it, taking it back to the group.

"But what is it that it wants? To eat us?!"

"Enough!" - Oloch growls, attacking the creature.

Oloch is completely befuddled at what is going on around him - "We are rhyming now then?" - he grunts, then moves towards Wadi, greatsword at the ready, stopping at the last moment, showing a fanged grin - "Best give me an alternative brother Wadi"

Holding action, and waiting for any suggestions ;)

"Lost..? Oloch is not lost. Big bird is lost"

Oloch wades in without a word, though his smile clearly shows how much he is enjoying walking over water - the sword descends in an arc aimed at the bird's neck - "Place is definitely crowded with birds for some reason" - he grunts.

Eyeing the water filled room, Jan says a prayer to Desna Må våra fötter steg ljus över vattnet. And briefly touches Dioneo, Oloch, Wadi and himself.

Dioneo, Oloch, Wadi, and Jan each have 10 minutes of water walk. Sorry that's the max I could get, but it looked like Archon and Sutekh should be okay to Acrobatics around.

As the scream is heard, and Wadi warns regarding its illusion nature, Oloch grunts, and draws his greatsword.

To the vulture reference, he adds with a smile - "I have slashing enough. We should investigate both the source of the screams and put that undead beast down regardless of anything else - anyone interested in scouting before we move in, or should we open hostilities?"

Hehe, deal Dioneo ;)

"Huh... Mistress Koi was flooding the place to force the fox out of hiding" - Oloch reasons, turning to the strange creature - "As you have attested, we are willing to help in finding it, but if the water continues to rise, it will not be easy for us" - he shrugs - "Perhaps the flooding could stop for the time being?"

"It is not the fox causing the flooding" - Oloch retorts, arms still crossed over his chest.

"What kind of trouble can a fox stir up?" - Oloch shrugs.

I think we can handle a slower posting rate :D

"Is this the one flooding everything?" - Oloch inquires, as he notices all the water spewing from the fey's mouth.

Then maybe we have trouble, but I make side bet with you that Sutekh out fish the birds. Jan know fishing birds and those no fishers. What you say Oloch 5gp?

"I guess there is no point anymore" - the half orc snorts, looking at Sutekh when he emerges from the waters - "This is crazy..."

"The Big Sleeper? Who or what is that? " he asks puzzled

"A whale? Naaah..."

"Ah, I see, it was once a more complete scroll, but it currently holds a few spells still. Within it is the ability to read and understand all languages, a bit useless to us, but perhaps it will serve a purpose. There is also a prayer to gain physical might and to banish darkness." he says with a shrug.

"I really should have had the dolphin eat those two. At least Oloch would have backed me."

You know I would, or do you mean eat the dolphins..? Because Oloch would not say no to that either :D

"Physical might? Good - it will give us an edge in case of need" - Oloch nods approvingly.

Wadi is glad he did not have to go swimming here. Best to put that off as much as possible.

He nods in agreement with Sutekh's plan before turning to face the half orc. "Relax Oloch. These fey seem harmless enough. No need to create trouble here where none exists."

"Not looking for trouble" - Oloch shrugs - "They have something that does not belong to them. Simple enough" - he adds - "What if they win this contest? What then?"
