@Navasi / Wei Ji: SFS Guild Guide, pg 7:

"You can apply adventure credit from a higher-level sanctioned module or Adventure Path to a newly created, 1st-level Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild character. When doing so, reduce the credits reward to 720 credits if the adventure grants 1 XP or 2,160 credits if it grants 3 XP. You do not benefit from any boons until your Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild character reaches the minimum level listed on the Chronicle sheet, unless otherwise noted."

Slightly different from PFS, and note that boons are available at 3rd level since that's the min level on the Chronicle. I thought it used to say boons were available once you reached the level of the Pregen played, but maybe I'm mis-remembering.

Obo thrusts her fist into the air and slams her armor-clad tail on the deck plates. Her toothy grin is easily mistaken for something more sinister, until someone from her team (presumably Vixi) hurriedly explains that, no, the big lizard lady isn't going to eat them but is in fact sharing their joy and excitement.

Thanks so much for running this for us Kate. It's well written and fun, and was a joy to participate in.

Standing next to Vixi, (perhaps a little protectively amidst all the potentially hostile big critters) Obo leans down and whispers, "Hun, this one's all you. Go get 'em girl."

But she shifts 'Muncher' back around to the front and puts one big clawed hand on the stock. Just in case.

"Oh no you don't little thing!" Obo yells at the little snake as she swings her doshko.

Doshko, Get'Em: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 7 + 1 = 9

But she slips on a patch of algae growing on the floor, and her attack goes wild!

Waited a whole week - just to roll a Nat 1. Mwah, mwah....

Obo's attention is completely focused on the red snake threatening her and so fails to notice whatever important thing is hidden from her.

Having slung "Muncher" after offering it to Suulhu-Huur, Obo swings her doshko at the snake. Having a Vesk weapon in hand just feels so ... right. This is a feeling I UNDERSTAND!

Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
damage (P): 2d12 + 8 ⇒ (12, 9) + 8 = 29

If it's not down, any ally with line of sight to Red Snake for whom Obozaya does not grant cover to it gains a +1 bonus to ranged attack rolls against it.

If it drops, she'd move 2 spaces as indicated. +4 to AC vs AO's for moving out of a threatened square due to Mobility. And then the Coordinated Shot benefit (above) applies to Blue.

I think we've got 2 votes for the reliquiry, yes. Navasi & Obo, at least.

When Navasi supports going back via the reliquiry, Obo reminds her friends that they never checked the door into the reliquiry from Oshessa's room for traps and alarms.

I don't want Vixi getting hurt by some stupid trap left by some stupid dead murder cultist. That'd just be ... too much.

"Yeah, we did see a cryopike. Same place we found this."

Obo then reminds her team that they never did check out that other big room. The one guarded at one end, and trapped and locked at the other.

"So, what's the plan now?" she asks, looking to Vixi mostly out of loyalty. But there's these other feelings she has for the halfling. She's just not sure what they all mean. Ugh. Feelings are hard. Sort it later, ya big dummie.

With Vixi's kind help, Obo settles down and eventually takes two deep, racking breaths. She touches their helmets together. "Thanks, hon, you're the best."

With that she returns to her normal self, as far as anyone can tell. The Battle Sisters of Gennrit talk about fear being the mind-killer. Gonna have to go look into them more.

She carefully takes her time to swim to and retrieve Muncher from the floor of the cavern. "Does this being to you?" she asks the kalo. "It's quite nice."

Obo sees her friends fighting for their lives. She watches Vixi suffer in silence. She hesitates for the briefest moment in her attempt to swim away.

But the fear overrides all else, so she tries again anyway.

And finally manages to make some headway away from the scary-tusk-lady! But her movement is blocked by Vixi & Raia. She stops, looking into Vixi's eyes pleading with her friend to help her overcome this unnatural fear.

Obo feels fear like she's never felt it before. More powerful than her desire for glory, or her will to save her friends, it causes her to flee the room as fast as she can.

But the terror tangles her tail in her feet and she fails to move at all. She tries once again to flee from Oshessa....

but sadly goes nowhere as the dark fear begins to overwhelm her.

Obo sees the bright Green morlamaw fall unconscious (and begin floating?). When Navasi calls out instructions to focus on Oshessa, she thrashes her tail and tries to swim forward.

Athletics: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

But she loses her footing on launch and makes no progress.

She decides to try to move toward Ms. Purple, but

Athletics: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12

again fails to make any progress in the strong current.

Separate rolls for the 2 attempted move actions. Bah, bad dice!

Next time I can post will be in about 24 hours. If you need to bot her, move her into melee with Oshessa (primary) or Purple. Note that she has the Coordinated Shot feat that gives allies a +1 to their ranged attacks vs an opponent that Obo threatens.

Obo waits impatiently for ISEPH's signal. He said on his mark, she thinks as she sees him splash over and past the other two to land adjacent to Oshessa. That looks good enough for me!

"FOR GLORY AND FREEDOM!" Obo shouts, hoping to attract the attention of the clearly evil torturers as she lets lose with Muncher.

Attack, underwater: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 7 - 2 = 10
damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Halved for underwater = 4

Meh, nice gun, but like that jerk that taught Nonstandard Environment Combat used to say: "Best tool for the conditions."

She drops Muncher to the bed of the stream and draws her doshko in both hands, ready for retaliation.

Obo begins to move forward, trying to be as quiet as she can.

Her powerful tail propels her easily, but it may have swished and splashed a bit in doing so.

She waits for the signal, her scales itching to DO SOMETHING!

Obo hefts her new favorite weapon, Muncher, and slips past Raia into the tunnel. "Maybe let me take point. I think we're done sneakin' for now."

She pauses to look back at the tech gurus of the team. "Are we gonna be able to open that from inside if it closes behind us?"

Is the tunnel flooded to some depth? The coloration of the map makes it look ... watery.

Obo moves across the room and to a spot allowing her to cover both the secret door and the double-width door.

Don't wanna get surprised. Even my first instructors wouldn't'a' tolerated that.

On her way into position, she gently puts a big scaly claw on Vixi's tiny shoulder. "Go show 'em how it's done, hun."

Unable to directly help, Obo takes the handkerchief from Vixi. She dabs Vixi's small forehead as gently as she can, and quietly murmurs words of encouragement to her friend.

Once the door is opened, she waits for the others to enter. Watching their backs to make sure no one noticed them, she slips into the room last.

"Didn't Oshessa say she was goin' to rest? There's not another way out of here, is there?"

At the sound of food being served, Obo moves quickly to secure the seat with the best view of the room and access to an escape route. As placed. She digs in with gusto to whatever is served, regardless of how it smells or tastes to the others.

Always be watchful, especially at those times when you're most vulnerable: sleeping, eating, and sexing.

She makes a plan to be the last of her team out of the dining room. For the reasons that she's not so good at the talking / sneaking stuff, and cause it'll be more realistic for the big dragon-girl to eat more than any of her compatriots.

Obo follows along with the machinations as best that she can. After Oshessa has departed and left the Starfinders alone, she murmurs to her allies.

"I vote to go back and try to get Irtrine to let us in. But talkin' ain't my thing," she finishes while looking pointedly at Navasi and Vixi.

Assuming he's still listening to her thoughts, Obo silently replies to Id.

I dunno about any of this joyousness stuff, Id. But pain has its place. My drill instructors used to say, "Pain is the price of mistakes in training. Death is the price on the battlefield."

But if you say this philosophy stinks like bad squalmishka, I'll follow your lead.

Of course, if he's not listening, her thoughts and memories remain her own.

Obo trudges over to keep near Navasi. She looks at the bench for a moment before leaning against the wall instead. She lifts her left foot slightly and presses it flat to to the wall behind her and uses her tail for extra support. If anyone asks why she doesn't sit, she slaps her heavy, armored tail on the floor to emphasize her anatomical differences, and grunts something to the effect that she'd rather stand.

And this gives me a better vantage point.

I apologize for my recent absence. My flight/work schedule blew up over the last few days, and I've barely had time to sleep between flights. I'm back now.

After Zavlig reassures Raia that they don't purposefully ingest the toxins, Obo asks if she can carry a small bottle of it. Just in case.

"A tool is a weapon by any other name," she says in a tone and cadence as if reciting a mantra.

"What did you do when you got sick? Was there an antidote, or something?"

Obo watches Raia expertly resize the armor, impressed by her skills.

"Vixi, I think that bright, fancy officer armor's just your style. Looks a little too heavy for ya though."

She then sets aside the new, unused doshko that she bought back on Absalom Station in favor of the sleeker advanced model.

"Doesn't make sense to lug two of these around."

Always wanted one of these. Never could afford it though. Gonna be bummed if I can't keep it.

She then helps Navasi complete her inventory adding in tidbits about the various weapons and armor.

Obo looks at Navasi with a blank look following her comment about "relationships." It's not clear if she just doesn't understand the innuendo, or if she's simply trying to ignore it.

After Id reveals the importance of the weapon to the Manta Corps soldier, she stows her own auto-rifle and takes "Muncher" from him. She gives it a thorough check and chambers a round.

"I know what that's like. I'll treat it right until we sort this out."

Hefting "Muncher" into a combat-ready hold she follows Raia to the door, ready for whatever may happen.... Dun dun dunnn

"No, but if that means it tears things apart, then I think I love it even more now," Obo says as she reaches out to stroke it with one long claw.

When Raia gets the cabinet open, Obo's eyes catch the squad machine gun. She sidles over to Id at the cabinet, and waits (less than patiently, albeit politely) until Id figures out what the writing reveals. Looking around at the team, she realizes it's likely no one else is proficient with such a beautiful killing tool.

In her impatience, though, she reaches out and fingers the serums of healing.

Enough for each of us to have one of these.

She then passes one to each of the team members, keeps one for herself, and hands the sixth off to Raia, who looks the ... squishiest. based on hp total. She returns to the cabinet and peers over Id's shoulder to see if he's finished his translation.

Obo watches Vixi "charm" the security bots into submission with her implant. She follows the team into the room to look around, then positions herself near the northern door while waiting for the tech-nerds to evaluate the gear.

"Nice, Vixi. Don't think I'm gonna get one of those implants tho. I've got this instead," she finishes, hefting her auto-rifle for emphasis.

As Vixi leaps to Obo's defense, she catches herself musing about something her mother drilled into her. "There are two activities in a war: the Preparation, and the Fight. Neither exists without the other."

"The Vesk are not in battle with the Pact Worlds," she calmly answers Hinevera. "But the state of War never really ceases for us Vesk."

She pauses, realizing that perhaps she has failed to assuage their hosts' concerns. Be diplomatic, they said. Ugh. Let Vixi talk.

"But, ummm, I'm a mercenary, and a Starfinder. I'm not part of the Veskarium military any more."

Obo is a bit taken aback by Oshessa's curiosity. As she reaches for Obo's claws and makes her comment about always being armed, she replies with a quote from her Historical Tactics instructor on Vesk Prime.

"Every creature is armed with some weapon. Some are just more visible than others."

What she doesn't mention is how that instructor then went on to discuss how to "disarm" every different species the Vesk had ever met.

Obo notes that their "host" studiously avoided answering her question about the door with the placarded warning, but stays near her friend Vixi. Just in case things go sideways.

Obo opts not to introduce herself and just gets right to the point.

"How long have you all been using this facility? And what's with the warning tape on the door there? Radiation, or something?"

She tries to avoid sounding un-diplomatic. But not very hard.

Am I correct to assume that the yellow door to A3 on the map is the one with the yellow tape?

"The whole world isn't out to get us," she says. Hrrmm..... I like Vixi, but I remember what my father used to say, "Be prepared, be honorable, and none can take you."

Obo checks her weapons again as she thinks back warmly on the military training that her parents both gave her.

Happy Father's Day to any fathers among us. The success of my own sons in their endeavors is the greatest joy and reward a father can have.

"Huh. Friendly squatters, then. I'll follow your leads. But I'll stay ready. Just in case...."

Obo lets the "talkative" members take the lead, but keeps her guard up and her claw on the trigger of her auto-rifle anyway.

After the Xenowardens leave, Obo cocks her head as she listens to Raia's debrief. "Aren't we a long way from Castrovel? We're not likely to run into any of these feathered renkrodas out here, right?"

Later, as their submersible approaches the lodge, and the team sees signs of habitation, she hefts her auto-rifle. "Either the Mantas are home and this is the easiest mission ever. Or there's squatters. I'm assumin' option 2. Lock and Load, and Lemme Lead."

Disregard. I figured it out. Apparently, at some point I installed the Pathfinder add-in (or whatever it's called) for Chrome. That lets me see my own (and others'?) custom avatars. I didn't realize that was required. Thanks, all!

Thanks GM! Yeah, maybe they took that out of the current versions of the Guides when they expanded the rules about clearing conditions, etc. I think it was part of the same rule that said you couldn't change out their spells, but as you say, that's not in either guide any more.

I'll update Obo's stats.

As a side note, I'm trying to use a custom avatar for her. Is everyone else seeing her avatar as the image of Obozaya's face, or are y'all seeing a generic lizardfolk face?

The voice from the back of the room sounds like gravel being tossed into a ground-jet engine.

"Pact Worlds or Vast, doesn't really matter to me. Things need killin', teams need protectin', stuff needs recoverin'."

The owner of the voice steps up to the table to grab some of the refreshments. Her huge frame, heavy armor, flamethrower, and flame doshko are likely the source of the look of consternation on her face as she contemplates fighting underwater.

She finishes chewing and uses a claw to pick a piece of food out from between her long pointed teeth. "Call me Obo."

And with that, she steps back away from the table to let the more ... talkative ... species do what they do best. Talk.

Maybe I oughta sell my flame doshko and flamethrower. Get a regular doshko instead.

Legal? Possible? It kinda makes sense given the briefing. Selling both at 10% of their purchase price, plus her available credits, would be enough.
