I wanted to pour some alchemist oil toward the closest catapult and then go for an explosion in the ammunition cart. Though It's probably a better idea to just destroy the ammo. I need Virgil help, I need some diversion si I can exit the wagon and trow and big a rock or something at the pots. The explosion should create the opportunity to stealth after it.

HP: 38 | AC 17 (FF 15, Touch 12) | Fort +7, Ref +7, Will +5 | CMD 20 | Init +2 | Perc +7

DO the alchemist fire needs a spark to ignite or there are those flask that work as splash weapon?. I want to burn down that carriage and the catapults

HP: 38 | AC 17 (FF 15, Touch 12) | Fort +7, Ref +7, Will +5 | CMD 20 | Init +2 | Perc +7

I guess I'll try to start sabotaging/breaking/damaging things.

It isn't covered with cloth, but the barrels are stacked high and dense enough to make your stealth check possible. I just wasn't sure if you meant you moved towards it or if you actually got onto it.

I got onto it since I guess they give me more cover than being outside

HP: 38 | AC 17 (FF 15, Touch 12) | Fort +7, Ref +7, Will +5 | CMD 20 | Init +2 | Perc +7

It's one of those wagons that have some cloth that cover it or it is utterly open and exposed to people seeing me?

HP: 38 | AC 17 (FF 15, Touch 12) | Fort +7, Ref +7, Will +5 | CMD 20 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Wearing a cloaked hood, Nysha uses Virgil's deception to move into the Ammunition wagon.

@ The night before

The tower's front door seems to be magically protected, a password is needed to avoid it's magic.

@ At the present

Whispering: I can go unseen and do some sabotage, but I need to do it quickly, so I first need to know exactly where to go.

Nysha, would you like to ask questions or start some kind of spying in there before we advance the time?

Having had witnesses of her drinking skills, Nysha will spent time with the guards drinking, sharing stories and gaining the guards trusts.

Nysha curses in her mind. Nysha have always considered that Losing total control over herself is unprofessional, and The beverage indeed seems strong. But she can't backtrack now or would not have a change with the soldiers

Nysha acts as if she were somewhat tired and ignores the stares.

Do you have something that makes me forget for a moment that I'm between an exigent old-fashioned loyalist andorian noble and a sieging army?

HP: 38 | AC 17 (FF 15, Touch 12) | Fort +7, Ref +7, Will +5 | CMD 20 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Hi. Sorry for the low rate of posting but The defense of my Ph.D thesis is in 14 days, so, DM, are you ok with a daily small post until then?

HP: 38 | AC 17 (FF 15, Touch 12) | Fort +7, Ref +7, Will +5 | CMD 20 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Ok. Nysha goes the conqueror's blade to see what she finds there.

And perhaps Nysha could try to fraternize with the guards and militia at the Conqueror's blade?

Garan's words sounds reasonable to young Nysha. As Garan escorts Virgil outside, Nysha acts as if the elf have just relieve from her bodyguarding duties to Lord Justin.

She then acts relaxed and asks for a beer. Looking for any group of soldiers near her in order to spy their conversation.

It might raise suspicion if several known associated people start showing interest in captain blacklock, unless we openly act in the name of Lord Augustana. IN fact, if he is so loyalist, perhaps a visit from lord Justing might be in order.

Nysha buys some quality wine. Acting Refined, She brings it to her master's table and serve him a small drink. She then leave the bottle in the table, turn around and with a stern gaze she try to discourage anyone from disturbing virgil.

HP: 38 | AC 17 (FF 15, Touch 12) | Fort +7, Ref +7, Will +5 | CMD 20 | Init +2 | Perc +7

What? - Nysha says to all the ones watching the party when they entered the dead well. The young women makes sure nobody interrupts Virgil in his mental conversation with Garan. In the meantime she also ask for some elven wine if there is some.

HP: 38 | AC 17 (FF 15, Touch 12) | Fort +7, Ref +7, Will +5 | CMD 20 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Whispering: Good, I'll go with Virgil to his suit in the the Dead-Well, a noble would never be without at least some bodyguards. Garan can you start the reconnaissance?

HP: 38 | AC 17 (FF 15, Touch 12) | Fort +7, Ref +7, Will +5 | CMD 20 | Init +2 | Perc +7

When the little girl goes

Well, we are inside. Now we only a reason to approach Baron Vendikon. Though it is better to wait some time, I'll bet he is not in the mood for visitor right now.

HP: 38 | AC 17 (FF 15, Touch 12) | Fort +7, Ref +7, Will +5 | CMD 20 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Nysha takes mental note of the abilities of Virgil. Magicians are always good when they are on your side but sometimes the power makes them too fickle.

Let's not lose a moment, master. - Nysha says somewhat sarcastically. She takes actions to open the path for the group (I guess people are storming to enter the keep, so I just push people around to open a route)

HP: 38 | AC 17 (FF 15, Touch 12) | Fort +7, Ref +7, Will +5 | CMD 20 | Init +2 | Perc +7

I guess is one of those things that they thought was crystal clear for everyone. It certainly isn't from reading the book. Though in their defence the spell manifestation thing was always their "unofficial" stance on the matter.

Well, "Whatever the case, these manifestations are obviously magic of some kind, even to the uninitiated" -

But if the DM is ok with it everything is cool.

It's a link from the "Pathfinder Design Team Official Rules Response" account, but the FAQ can be linked directly

Quote:

What exactly do I identify when I’m using Spellcraft to identify a spell? Is it the components, since spell-like abilities, for instance, don’t have any? If I can only identify components, would that mean that I can’t take an attack of opportunity against someone using a spell-like ability (or spell with no verbal, somatic, or material components) or ready an action to shoot an arrow to disrupt a spell-like ability? If there’s something else, how do I know what it is?

Although this isn’t directly stated in the Core Rulebook, many elements of the game system work assuming that all spells have their own manifestations, regardless of whether or not they also produce an obvious visual effect, like fireball. You can see some examples to give you ideas of how to describe a spell’s manifestation in various pieces of art from Pathfinder products, but ultimately, the choice is up to your group, or perhaps even to the aesthetics of an individual spellcaster, to decide the exact details. Whatever the case, these manifestations are obviously magic of some kind, even to the uninitiated; this prevents spellcasters that use spell-like abilities, psychic magic, and the like from running completely amok against non-spellcasters in a non-combat situation. Special abilities exist (and more are likely to appear in Ultimate Intrigue) that specifically facilitate a spellcaster using chicanery to misdirect people from those manifestations and allow them to go unnoticed, but they will always provide an onlooker some sort of chance to detect the ruse.

Oh, for some reasons I thought we could not use it before the mission.

Uhm, then, unless we all do our best to look incompetent, it could then be suspicious if you have three new body guards with you..., Maybe one of us should pretend to be the bodyguard of Virgil's fake identity -

Nysha study the merchant to see what kind of clothes and faked personality would serve best for her facade.

HP: 38 | AC 17 (FF 15, Touch 12) | Fort +7, Ref +7, Will +5 | CMD 20 | Init +2 | Perc +7

We should pile the remaining of our money to buy a wand of CLW

Is common for you to have different bodyguadrs each time you have gone to Pyren bluff, Mr Gaskar?

HP: 38 | AC 17 (FF 15, Touch 12) | Fort +7, Ref +7, Will +5 | CMD 20 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Nysha doesn't see any problem with Virgil plan

It could be convenient for us four to not be seen as a single group.

The goals seems clear enough. However, our covers could be compromised if there is already reasons for the abron to suspect there will be a siege to his keep. So, I guess that so far the Andoran army have not done any suspicious movement near the baron's keep

Not fully trusting in the general motives, Nysha replies

I see, that's enough reason to take Baron Vendikon out of the political game.

HP: 38 | AC 17 (FF 15, Touch 12) | Fort +7, Ref +7, Will +5 | CMD 20 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Nysha rise an elbow at the sight of the newcomer

Uhm, Noya yuuki I think,...and Mr Garan swiftblade, If I'm not wrong - Nysha acknowledge them and then turns to the general

indeed, since the army is hiring more than the usual number of competent swords for a job, I guess the mission have to be important indeed, general...Thanks for the coffee- Nysha drinks a little

I guess it would be unacceptable to let the client...unsatisfied with our work - She says talking about the assassination target.

The young woman is dressed in a simple dark traveler outfit that is tight to the body. Her long hair collected in a simple hair bun. A simple peasant to most people eyes.

Yes, please - she accepts that coffee

hi there. Eveyrything good with the map.

I think I'm done, except, maybe, for the way you are asking the fluff. By the nature of her profession, Nysha would change her appearance and way to speak depending on the situation (see background), so I don't know what to so.

I will submit this character, though I'm still finishing her.

DM here, this is the character I will submit.
