Once he gets to the cornrows, he hesitates for a second. He takes a long gulp before he holds the thing out, its nozzle dripping with water. "Unless either of you folk have got containers, feel free to take a sip." ![]()

He's a charismatic and Good-aligned adventurer, that's in a trip just for the sake of a trip and is pretty much up for anything.

"Of course I am quite willing to go the distance when it comes to taking control, seizing the day, gaining freedom, and all that. The thing is, not every moment is the best moment to do so. We are surrounded by enemies, and the group with whom we just combated Fipps and his flunkies are all in this together. That means we have to work together, Lorin. That means not using demonic energies to sear us and claim that it was you who did all of the work. We had that fight well in-hand. I suggest, if you are to use that power, finding a better way to focus the energies so that you may only hit hostiles with it. Next time you might get somebody killed."
Nico is, of course, referring to the feat 'channel smite', which allows you to use channel through your weapon. Either that or you should use Command Undead a lot :D ![]()

Nico sees a very quick resolution to what could have been a difficult fight, and quickly secrets his dagger away again. He feels a pleasant drunkenness as divine energy wraps itself around his wounds and his flesh reknits itself together. "No, Astein, I don't believe anybody was truly badly injured. I'm going to want words with Lorin today, though." Astein, there is a very specific material component for Infernal Healing. Either unholy water or devil's blood. I'm pretty sure you don't have either of those things. "I am not quite ready to be keelhauled, so I have to say that this man remains alive. Remember, that Scourge threatened to heelhaul ANYBODY that's caught killing people. Surely we could bring up a grievance of our own, about this man, to Scourge?" Nico follows up his jab with a quick chuckle to show he was joking. When indicated, Nico drinks deeply from the rum he's given, pulling the cup away only when it starts to spill down his face. He's got a +13 base bonus to identify magic items, and then he's also got the identify spell and an amulet that gives him a bonus, too.
