Catman, mediafire.com and google docs are good to use as backup for files. I have many of my files there. It helped me a lot when my computer crashed back in December. I know it might be too late now, but when you get things up and running it is nice to have. A 2nd hard drive is also a good investment.

Catman you don't have to tell me mechanical things like what feats the enemies have. I was just asking to make sure we were on the same page. :)

I guess that will have to do then. I will drop the arcane eye spell for something more useful,and I will still make the scroll of darkvision at caster level 10.

Now that I think about it I can just leave that last 5th level slot open since I have fast study it won't take me 15 minutes to fill it.

I just did not want the dragons to see the light and just happen to see the dwarf. I guess we can buy darkvision or scrolls if needed since they are cheaper. Even in a hamlet or village they should be available.

I have darkvision as a spell. I can make a scroll of it before the "next day" since the GM still has not advanced the game yet, and I can prepare at least 3, but I would prefer to only prepare 2 copies of it. If Elans have darkvision I should only have to prepare it twice at the most. I will drop arcane eye, and I will prepare make a scroll of darkvision. I can't fail the check so that is not an issue. Je'grik, myself, and Skendar will probably need darkvision at some point.

Is that supposed to be 25% damage or 150%. 25% is less damage meaning white dragons have some sort of resistance to fire. That is ok with me. I just want to be sure.

example:
25% =If I do 100 points of damage with a fireball then the dragon will only take 25 points of damage if the dragon fails the save come into play.

150%=If I do 100 points of damage with a fireball then the dragon will only take 150 points of damage if the dragon fails the save come into play.

You can the eye can be buddies, but you are correct. My perception check is not that high so if my perception check is used we are in trouble. I thought the eye had its own perception modifier. I do need to read the spell again. I didn't bother to check what class levels anyone had before redoing my daily spell list. Do you wish for me to trade out the arcane eye spell for something else?.

I will use Arcane Eye to scout ahead for us. Getting jumped by a dragon is probably not a fun activity.

In the interest of saving time I will assume the town has a library, and it gives a +4 to knowledge checks. If there is no library or the check is greater or less than +4 the GM can give me the results, and continue with the story.

Knowledge arcana to find out about white dragons after visiting the library:
1d20 + 24 ⇒ (11) + 24 = 35

Yeah, those are the default spells. I might not change them at all. I would have to read the thread again.
What I want to do is go to a library, to make another knowledge check, but I don't want to hold the game up. More than likely I will make a roll as if I had found a library, and see if I can get more information.

That way no matter whether the town has a library or not the roll will be there. I think I will make that roll right now.

I really don't have the motivation to make the document(with spells) right now, at least not until we actually go to visit the dragon anyway. I am ready to move in that direction though.

I only have one opposed school due to an arcane discovery I have called Opposition Research(source is Ultimate Magic). It allows me to drop one opposed school.
As to me being back if I am going to continue checking here anyway I might as well have stayed.
My return is up to the GM. I understand either way.
In any event I can explain any issues with my character sheet.

knowledge arcana check for white dragons:1d20 + 20 ⇒ (2) + 20 = 22
Rod of Rulership knowledge(history or arcana or nobility:1d20 + 20 ⇒ (3) + 20 = 23

I ended up rolling twice because I copied and pasted to the bottom, but I forgot to erase the top rolls. I will go with the low rolls. I got a 22 for the dragons, and 23 for the rod, in case both somehow still show up.
