Naitier dismisses their searing fire as they let themselves relax. "We should contact station security. I rather not have random attacks on the station be common."

When before Chiskisk with the Ambassador speaking about their efforts, Naitier holds themselves with a bit of pride hearing the positive impression they had left. "If there are any others from Neeroon that arrive, I will treat them with the same respect and trust that the Society offered me when I first arrived. The Society and the Pact Worlds have been welcoming and I'm glad we continued to demonstrate to you today."

Naitier doesn't have a weapon ready to take advantage of the opportunity, but with the robot distracted with Triage, the copaxi unleashes the thrumming spell from their body. The spell signature shatters at the blast of force fires into the robot point blank.

Attacking the Robot, Hopefully it can only take one AoO per turn.

They then draw a knife and move to aid Ikmanji in the melee. Naitier pushes close allow the lingering, searing heat around the body to continue to burn the robot.

If the robot begins it's turn adjacent to me, it will take 1 fire damage from my scouring aura.

Focusing their magic Naitier declares, "your momentum has drawn you toward destruction."

The attack likely fails to connect through as the preasure of the attack sends it off target. Naitier redoubles their magical control to retain that fragment of lost magic.

3 damage to self, have scouring aura. Since the attack probably misses, I spend 1 RP to retain a spell echo of that spell that I can cast in the next few rounds without using another slot.

Naitier moves up while drawing their pistol to hand as the stand aside Triage to help create a shield against the robot's potential attacks.

Keeping their weapon low and ready Naitier declares, "lower your weapon, to do so is baring your fangs for attack and will not allow for that."

Naitier avoids another attempt to strike with their whip. With the numbers far more in their favor, they aim their static arc pistol to the rooftop across the street. They know they are opening themselves to attack, but trust I-apvii and Ikmanji to back them up.

Holding the packages firm, Naitier pulls them and himself away from the lashing whip. "I was hesitant to unleash my magic, but you have pressed forward toying with powers immense."

Focusing their energy into a massive blast, Naitier casts their spell into the ysoki that Ikmanji is facing.

Naitier readies their arc pistol as they look around in response to Valodet's alert. "That many?"

Shuffling the packages in their other arm Naitier looks around as they bluster a bit toward the ysoki they see. "You shouldn't be following so close to us. We are open to offering aid to those who need it, but you don't seem to be keen to making that request. The powers we have are just as capable of the harsh powers of the universe as life life-giving portions."

Naitier postures a bit as they try to intimidate the closest of the ysoki.

Gesturing to the group, Naitier continues, "our team has a number of expert animal handlers who are capable of calming and training all manner of creatures that live among the stars."

Naitier does their best to describe an emphasize the skills of the group as they demonstrate.

"I had not seen in my Absalom Station research that park animals could not be acquired freely. I can't tell if that is a failure of my sources or poor assumptions on my part. My world had far fewer public places with a wealth of wildlife." Naitier says as they consider the matter.

Naitier restores their focus and joins the others speaking to the groundskeepers. "Given the multiple benefits our attending to Squox," they say gesturing to the statements from Gus and Valodet, "maybe there is method where we can officially remove this animal from the park. I do apologize as I'm also still becoming accustomed to the customs of this station and hopefully you know of a way we can settle this in a way that benefits both the station and our dignitary."

Naitier smells the air to try to get a better gauge of the squox's position as they move with the party. "I'm uncertain what they might eat, but I can try to aid in guiding them out. If I am close enough, I will be able to sense it even without sight, but I'm uncertain if I want to get that close."

Naitier moves along with the party as they look about the park trying to keep an eye out for the wild creature. "I see paths intersecting of the creatures that dwell here. I will admit though I'm uncertain how we might try to tame such creatures. This is an instance where my magic offers little solution."

Looking to the others they ask, "do you think they will give you any trouble?"

Speaking to Triage as well as the others, Naitier offers, "while my magic has a devastating bent, it does have another side that is less commonly seen. I can provide some magical aid to alleviate it, although it wouldn't treat the cause."

If it can at least help alleviate the symptoms while the medicine begins to work, Naitier can cast lesser remove condition to at least reduce a bit of the issue.

Aside from that, Naitier tries aid with Valodet's impressive efforts. They try to use the knowledge they have gathered from the various Pact residents to help navigate taboos.

Naitier is more than impressed with the meal. They admire it for a moment before setting into the food. "This feels more akin the meals I've seen the upper class have on my world."

Seeing the reaction from the Ambassador, Naitier seconds Gus's suggestion in an attempt to allow Ikmanji a tactful way to pause the meal. Raising a glass Naitier adds, [b]"the work that has already been done on your world is magnificient and to the future ventures you are bound to achieve going forward.

Feeling out of place amid this negotations, Naitier lets those with a few more years of experience to hold the Society's position well.

Naitier relieved to be back on station up until seeing the bouncers blocking the way.

They are taken a bit aback by Triage's suggestion. "I... well... I will admit that the cultures admit the Pact Worlds themselves are varied much less those from the Veskarium. I was shocked as to how many greeted me on my arrival by lowering their head." Naitier pauses a bit as they straighten their posture, "it felt like so many were ready for a fight."

Glancing at the array of vesk bouncers, Naitier nods with affirmation toward Valodet's suggestion. "Maybe we could put off the duel to the death challenges. Maybe giving them respect while presenting strength? It is hopeful that there may have been a cancellation that we could take the place of if they felt we were worthy. Maybe if we are lucky the Pathfinder Society has provided aid to them in the recent past. At the least not left a negative impression as it has on several others in this system."

"My first time encountering them, but I'm sure another will share in a moment." Naitier finishes addressing the ambassador as they turn their attention to the power systems and try to direct power away from the weapon system to ensure they don't accidentally discharge.

Lowering their pistol Naitier squeezes against the wall to approach the trouble maker. "I won't take that risk then."

Coming right up to the largest of the gremlins, Naitier calls upon one of their spells to drain the energy from the charged creature.

This spell doesn't provoke, if it hits the creature must make a DC 14 Fortitude save or become fatigued for three rounds.

Fatigued:
You can neither run nor charge, and you take a –1 penalty to your Armor Class, attack rolls, melee damage rolls, thrown weapon damage rolls that add Strength to damage, Reflex saving throws, initiative checks, and Strength- and Dexterity-based skill and ability checks. The amount of bulk you can carry without becoming encumbered is reduced by 1. If you are already fatigued and would gain the fatigued condition, you lose the fatigued condition and are exhausted for the total duration of all fatiguing effects. After 8 hours of complete rest, you are no longer fatigued.

If I can't get around the grease, I'll attempt the acrobatics check at my +0 bonus.

Seeing the sudden surge of their numbers, Naitier reappraises their tactics. "With the magic they are capable of, holding my own in reserve would be unwise."

The spell leaves some damage in the wake of the launch along with a fiery aura that surrounds Naitier.

The spell does 3 damage to me.

Because I spent a spell slot, a fiery aura surrounds me (that doesn't hurt my allies), but can be dispelled as a reaction to prevent some damage from an attack or spell.

Naitier holds their position at the back with the Ambassador. Given the nearby equipment, the copaxi holds off from unleashing their magical reserves for the moment and instead draws pistol and taking a shot at the nearest gremlin.

Naitier listens to the automated script with some confusion as they suggest, "that is certainly a list of some of the vessels around Absalom Station. I don't think those were pointed out to me when I first game to the station."

"I suppose I'm learning more as well with this trip."

Gesturing to some of the other vessels Naitier notes, "there are some other interesting vessels surrounding the station that do not involve illicit activities and are more akin to Valor’s Heart. There are a few vessels that share lessons among the Pact World and provide symposiums on various subjects. They are less constant around the Station, but I have have been interested in attending one because of the varying voices they bring from throughout the Pact and beyond."

With the burst of turbulance Naitier pauses their description as they account for the party again. They did take note of the group dividing up, but their focus had remained elsewhere until the ship began to shake.

Sending out a call to the others Naitier makes a concerned note, "there shouldn't be this sort of turbulence this close to the station. Is everything still stable where you are?"

Naitier excuses themselves following as they go to check the systems to make certain this old ship was still holding together.

Naitier adds to their message to the others, "there are a number of malfunctions in the aft engine room. I'm not sure what the cause is, but I am worried this is a precursor to a larger event if we don't intervene."

"The automated ships that Periphery Stars uses have proved a profitable use of their older starships. They should provide an enjoyable tour around the station."

"I joined the Society following them visiting my world a few years ago.
It was only a short time ago where my people were disconnected from the rest of the rest of the universe."

After a moment Naitier presses forward as they contemplate their past a bit as they clarify, "while there is always opporunity and change in any copaxi, I have always felt a connection to the flow of magic that connects me to the rest of the powers that reside in the stars and the space between them. My people have been long wary though of magic and I have felt judgement and distrust as I explored these thoughts."

"The one that originally shared with me the base studies of magical theory had a far more difficult life that myself. I was glad to be able to give them some amount of comradeship before they past on, but I do feel frustrated and wish they survived to be able to join with cultures and studies beyond our world."

Naitier doesn't reminisce for long, as they let the task for memories to fall to the core of themselves as the othermost speak of the present. "Even from when I was young, I have seen recent change and I can say many of my world are more open, but still nothing in comparison to the Pact Worlds."

Naitier enters the meeting with some frustration as the rotate one of their arms uncomfortably. Some of that carries into their tone as they end their stretch early and enter the meeting. "I'm sorry for my slow arrival. My preparations took longer today, but it will not interfere with my obligations."

Taking some time to catch up with the briefing Naitier ponders, "I understand he is welcoming to those incapable of flight to his planet, but I'm curious the reverse can be said for Absalom Station. I have not thought of the layout from the perspective of a flight capable species."

Seeing Valodet and Nandipha's presence, takes another moment to compose themselves as they introduce themselves, "I'm Naitier of Tabrid Minor. A mystic drawing from the powers of ongoing magical change flowing throughout the universe. As of current there has been more change within myself I've now begun to resolve."

"My world had descriptions of artificial intelligences losing control, but many things my world have taught have felt more and more misguided and fearful given the time I've spent in the Pact Worlds." Naitier steps away from the engines as they head toward the bridge with the others, "broadening beyond what I was taught in the years since I came together, it seems clear life is diverse and varied. Your dreams and thoughts are no less possible or important than those of anyone. I want to make certain we do all we can to help you. I rather you continue to grow Avid Dreamer."

"I will admit that my world has none akin to your own." Naitier pauses for a moment as they organize their thoughts. "You seem to be an intelligence born of technology. I've seen more within the Pact Worlds, but none as newly awakened as your own. I want to make sure to help you. Naitier is so focused on the shot that they aren't prepared to for the charged laser blast. Realizing the blast is fully changed only as it fires, they don't move and their armor takes the full laser blast.

Following an anguished cry of pain Naitier follows up with a shot. "My over confidence has led me to approach the sun too closely. I'll fall back, risks are not something I am looking to maximize."

They back up quickly after that to give room for other allies to close in.

Naitier avoids a bit of the blast and steps back. "Despite all this, we may wish to be more understanding. It won't help anyone to make them an enemy despite all of their fear."

Naitier is shocked by the sudden laser blast, but is faster at dodging the second. They stifle any audible alarm as the armor seals away the damage and Naitier focuses on helping calm trying to calm the AI. "You can trust us though, we heard your call and Multifold sent us here to help. We don't want to leave you when it will still take a long time to send more help."

"It has been several days, but I believe the original message might from this ship used that name, Avid Dreamer." Naitier looks around at the ship as they take in the scene before adding, "their mechanical nature seemed apparent with the way they spoke following our entry, but I was still assuming they were the pilot. My world does not have any creatures with notable artificial intelligence, so I didn't realize what forms they could take. With the number of androids, holograms, and robots, I had begun to limit my thoughts to imagine them as humanoid in their limits. It seems like, much like my grasp of the nature of stellar forces, I am far out of my depth. Avid Dreamer is the starship we are currently walking through?"

"We want to be able to help you. I might not understand what you are going through, but together with our friends I'm sure we can put it right enough so that you can rejoin Automaint-13 again."

I've created a blank slide on the map for a marching order and gave a very rough marching order for the party. If Jek wants to be at the back of the party they can swap places.

Naitier readies magic as the blast of explodes outward and relaxes a bit as Djakar recovers. "I certainly don't recommend you have your klickharp friend near the fore if the ship is this hostile towards intrusion."

Moving to check on Djakar and allows the others to expect the airlock. "I don't want to intrude into your recording or present any issues of scene continuity, but do you want any aid? That was more force than I could conjure. I can finish mending your body or wait until we are not floating outside an airlock."

Naitier mulls this over just a moment before admitting, "even still, there are more reasons to provide assistance rather than deny them. If we were the ones to get this message, then there is likely a reason for us to be the ones to respond."

"Given the time it takes for them to respond, it would seem wise to accept the offer and request information now while we head toward the damaged vessel. Delaying our travel to that ship may be cause more issues."

Coming out of their meditations, Naitier watches the group work at decrypting the message.

Adding to Ikmanji's comment, "possibly the brevity of the message means this is a generic, automatic message. Even still, I find it unusual that there is no request for assistance, but I'm uncertain on galactic culture on requesting aid. As it is, I assume the corporation is playing a high value on privacy."

No Day Job

In the following days Naitier makes it a point to return to the Sparks. There they try to focus on honing their sign language and partaking in the entertainment the neighborhood. They even make it a point to commission work for equipment from the residents where able for new gear, food, and attire.

Continuing this contemplations they try to help people in the community that is familiar to their own.

Naitier meditates on this as they let their thoughts mingle and build and lets them out as they share the matter.

"Offering a suggestion is difficult for the same reason you ask for advice Ruby-17. Now that you are free, there is little limit to the choice you have and all choices feel they could be the right choice for you. I believe you would be happy with any path you took as long as you take on one that you truly take on for yourself."

Naitier looks at the building and suggests, "you have done a masterpiece of work here and it was apparent to the care taken to make each of these simulations. I have read how much you enjoyed putting time into them and it would be a loss if Historia ruined your enjoyment of this work."

Looking more to the others Naitier notes his concern, "There are others in the area that would treat it as a boon if this place was lively and active. I would hope that the Society not leave this place barren, but after your years of service I'm hesitant to suggest she focus on the desires of others before herself. If she wants to remain her because she enjoys it I would endorse it, but not if she is doing it out of obligation."

Naitier would be fine with Custodian, but if it is something she wants without the pressure of helping people here.

Naitier is very happy that the combat is cut off before the giant robot could managed to do anything analogous. They are even more elated to see that Ruby is restored and able to speak with the party.

When the question of advice comes, Naitier is forced to ponder and they try to focus as they let the suggestions of others to filter in. "I am uncertain that I have the experience to offer a well drawn suggestion. My preference is toward exploration, but so much of that is due to the same desires that made me leave my home world in the first place."

"I personally would not wish to join into Guidance, partly due to my youth and then because of my concern of lethal computer simulations." Naitier traces magical signatures to calm themselves. "I would understand if you decide to follow such a path, but for me the others seems more well illuminated options I would be more comfortable with."

"I do know that the neighbors here would like this place to not sit abandoned, but hopefully the Starfinder Society can put good use to this facility whether you remain her or not. My preference and suggestion is exploration of the world."

Placing a hand on themselves they add, "I do have a personal preference for having a body myself, but if you are hesitant then using a projector may feel more comfortable, at least for the time being."
