I'll start to work through my turn hopefully tonight as an example. First thing we need to fix: Table 5-9 of Birthright.net uses ranks for the % of regency and probably other things. 1st level characters started with 4 ranks if it was a class skill in 3.5. In Pathfinder, the 3 point differential of the class skill is added bonus, so we need an official adjustment. The easiest fix would be to reduce the left column of Table 5-10 by 6, so it tops out at 4+ for 100%. However, Elton needs to rule and post the revised rules on the Campaign tab, so we don't forget. cheers

My concern is of the organization of the faith of our people." After a comfortable pause, "However, people do die when their priests disagree. Many battles were fought in the schism of the Impregnable Heart of Haelyn from the Orthodox Imperial Temple. Followers of Rournil violently carved Medoere from old Diemed and the Orthodox Imperial Temple. So I don't think princes and barons have the monopoly on war." After a breath, "Your lordship, if I may, you sound bitter and trapped in the machinations of the great powers. I would have thought the Straits provided an excellent shield or at least cover from them. 'Out of sight; out of mind,' so to speak. What do you dream of doing that you see too many obstacles in your way?"

AC 19/10/19 | Fort +5 Ref +0 Will +7 | Init. +0 | Perception +5 | CM +3/13 Your Grace seems fine. I've no idea, which is why I said Lady Baroness which is entirely historically incorrect. In Birthright, barons are higher than counts and less than dukes. According to this, everything under royalty is Your Lordship. The high priest is an average, untrained dancer and under no illusions that is any better. But the ball is as much about dancing as drinking, it happens but is not the main course. "Of course, Your Ladyship. I will do my best." As they turn on the dance floor, he nods and whispers, "That's the new Baron Roesone. He seems very militant. His politics have yet been announced." Then, he nods and whispers, "He's the Count of Ilien, our host. He is a wizard. I don't know if he enjoys politics." Then, he nods and whispers, "And he is the Count of Endier, a powerful guilder here on the mainland. He definitely enjoys politics, but I don't know what his current game is." He continues to whisper, "Those are the major players in the room. I thought more were invited. We shall see. When we have more time, I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss our mutual interests."

He wears a jewel-encrusted gold pectoral holy symbol of Nesirie over classic, elegant clothes covering fine breastplate. His shoulder-length brown hair, which would look comfortable beneath a ship captain’s hat, and his neatly groomed beard are streaked with premature silver. His eyes are steel gray with a twinkle of mischief. He casually approaches the Baroness of Mieres and asks, "Lady baroness, it's not often we are at the same place and the same time. We could have many mutual interests. May I have the pleasure of a dance?"

You mentioned earlier that we'll use the original GB collection rules. If we want to start domain turns, we need to post the basic rules (GB collection). I would be happy to post whatever you want here, such that you can cut-and-paste into the campaign tab. cheers

Q1: No rolling necessay. Pick your starting age. Q2: You rolled your starting gold above (2,600 gp). That is your current personal funds. Elton hasn't set any limits for magic. The amount effectively sets those limits. Birthright is generally a low magic setting. Q3: I don't know if Elton will have an opinion about inquisitions. He's converted a bunch and stopped at traits. Here are Nesirie's domains and the specific subdomains for the Eastern Temple of Nesirie. I changed the favored weapon from net to trident, because trident is one of her two symbols. Let me know if you have any additional questions. cheers

Published Aerenwe starts with provinces and law holdings, so a martial character would be best to maximize regency point collection. Follow the link to review. My PM to Squee to confirm his interest in Aerenwe has been unanswered for 48+ hours. Wait for Elton to give you a green light to start building a character. To prepare, the character generation rules and guide are on page 1 of this thread. cheers

For the unapproved characters, is it clear what you need to do? Do you need support? I've PMed Squee to offer help or confirm his departure. @everyone
Yes, I want to start playing as soon as possible. ;D cheers cheers

If you want to avoid evil, then you could rewrite your background. Maybe your character led a coup against the previous evil Guilder Kalien, in order to balance the evilness of Endier with more goodness: Neutral. The obvious, overt evilness was bad for business. Or go neutral evil, like the published leader of Endier. cheers

I rather doubt that she's met any of the other PC's unless they're in the habit of taking long sea voyages. Chapel of Rain (cathedral) in Serien, Mieres I made sure to select Investiture as a Realm spell for just such an occasion. Ordinarily, it might be difficult to sail, but Moergan can teleport across the sea daily facilitating more frequent visits to Meires. I'm thinking Moergan spends 20% of his time there looking for places to expand. Feel free to develop some ideas on their relationship and PM me. cheers

The early part of his background did not scream Lawful Good. And poisoning someone to death on purpose is premeditated murder. Just saying.

Tenro I don't know how Elton rules, but in my games using poison (especially to kill) makes the character evil. Jaris's alignment is Lawful Neutral. His background states that he poisoned the heir to death. IMHO, those two things (alignment and poisoning) are mutually exclusive. As for languages, Endier is in the south of Anuire. By sea, clockwise is Rjuvic, and counter-clockwise is Khinasi. Overland, way north-east is Brecht, but they are big traders. Endier neighbors a BBEG goblin province, so speaking goblin might be worthwhile. cheers

The center of Eastern Temple of Nesirie is in Calrie, Aerenwe with a temple of 6, specifically the Ursaline Chapel which is technically a cathedral. ETN has two other cathedrals in Ilien and Mieres. Moergen travels around. He would probably be in Ilien 20% of the time. Your daughter has some rank in ETN, but she is not an official lieutenant of Moergan's, yet. That needs a cohort or a Lieutenant domain action. Moergan has been high priest for three years, so they could be friends, acquaintances, or know of one another depending on Rogr's background. I got lucky with many of my character creation rolls. That has not been the case in other games. I'm just looking forward to play. cheers

Try again with the first link. I was having problems with it. It took me several minutes to edit it correctly. The link works for me now. Province rulers have a significant advantage over non-province rulers. When we start playing domain actions, I think we will find 'power' will be defined by the domains and not the characters. cheers
