She’s apologetic but firm. Oh...oh dear. I hope I didn’t give you the wrong impression, I’m not attracted to women. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but I don’t swing that way. I didn’t mean to lead you on. She turns away in embarrassment, a small smile creeping around her fangs once her back is turned. Plus...oh I don’t know if I should say but...Kelly really likes you... She turns back to Carrie, the selfless, caring angelic buddy. She’s such a dear friend, she’d be heartbroken. I could never do that to her. You should leave. No hard feelings but let’s not discuss this again.
Mindy stiffens a little when Carrie touches her, but not enough to pull away. She lets her ice queen veneer slip for a second as she giggles, but covers it up quickly. You’re being goofy!
She sees Alex briefly as she’s pulled toward the dorms. Had an oopsie! No need to be concerned. She takes Carrie back to her dorm. Her roomie is in class, so they’re alone. She changes out of her clothes casually, as if Carrie wasn’t in the room. She seems to be barely paying attention to Carrie. Mindy really knows how to work complete lack of regard.
Mindy isn’t even attracted to Carrie, but she knows that this will piss Kelly off.
Hearing the footsteps behind her, Mindy looks over her shoulder, locks eyes with Kelly and says Stay.
And Kelly stays. No longer pursued, she turned the corner with Carrie and stopped. I can’t go to the nurse...
Mindy, wrapped in her coat to preserve her dignity, shuffled out of the classroom. For obvious reasons, she couldn’t go to the nurse. Normally she’d get her escort alone and enjoy a snack to heal her wounds, but Carrie smelled all wrong. She wasn’t a vampire but she definitely lacked the warmth of life. She locked eyes with Kelly as they exited the classroom. She mouths “Bad doggie” as she walks out, leaning on Carrie a little more than she needs to.
Mindy is also Victorian high on ether, which is why it’s taken her so long to figure it out. Oh my god, you’re into Carrie she hisses. Then, after a beat. Oh my god you’re a werewolf! She gives a languid smile. Don’t worry, puppy. I don’t want your sloppy seconds.
Mindy’s cold skin prickles into goosebumps as Carrie brushes her. She tries to shake it off but there’s something in the back of her head. She smells...savory.
Mindy laughs weakly at Kelly’s joke, but she was uneasy. Something about the way Kelly looked at her...a little suspicious maybe? She didn’t feel safe. When the coast is clear, Mindy takes a quick huff of the ether, letting the euphoria wash over her, helping to pass the torture of eternal science class.
Mindy puts on a brave smile. Over the decades she’d extracted chlorophyll from every vegetable you could think of. She could probably pass as a college student, why was she DOOMED to high school for all eternity? She sits under the hood with the two girls. She fills out the lab sheet with the correct results without doing the extraction.
She waits until Barnes turns her back, then palms her bowl of ether. Until then, imma get ripped on ether.
I did that literally every time with virtually no consequences.

Mindy looks Yuji up and down slowly. How did she get the two confused? They look and present so differently...and yet, there was something she couldn’t quite figure out.
Mindy turns to Yu’s enterence. She...didn’t know about the back door. That was lucky. She’s need to be more careful. Here you are! Morgan, you good?
Mindy unlocks the door and waits for Morgan’s memory to resync. Hey girl, earth to Morgan. You spaced on me. This place is a ghost town. Do you want to wait or should we bail out?
Alone in the dark room, no Yuji in sight...Mindy did feel a bit hungry. She locks the door behind her. Morgan, you will allow me to feed upon you without struggle and speak of this to no one.
I’m told this is pleasurable...for the both of us. She buries her fangs into the girl’s neck and drinks deep (but not TOO deep) from a yielding Morgan.
She seals the wound with her tongue then dabs the blood from the corner of her mouth with a lace handkerchief. She draws a packet of Oreos from her purse. Eat these. I don’t want you passing out on me. Let me know when you’re ready and we’ll go find Yuji somewhere else. Don’t feel embarrassed if you’re lightheaded, it happens to everyone their first time.
Mindy takes Morgan to the dark room. Hey Yuji, you in here?

Embarrassed at her (admittedly probably sort of kind of racially motivated but she’s old so maybe cut her some slack) blunder, Mindy is eager to help. I’d be happy to take you to the dark room. She stands awkwardly. Farewell Carrie and... she was trying to be personable but she realized she had no idea who this person was if they weren’t Yuji. all assembled. Taking Morgan and Linda by the hand, she rushes from the library Lets go away now.
Mindy’s eyes widen in embarrassment. Siblings? Oh dear. She thought there was only one of them. They all smelled the same and at her age she had a hard time caring about the difference in cattle. She slinks a little lower in her seat. Will people think she’s racist? She isn’t.
Mindy listlessly flips through her book, then looks up to make eye contact with Linda. Amused by her outburst, she decides to go sugar Good morning Linda and...Morgan, isn’t it? Yuji is right here, isn’t he? Mindy doesn’t know that all three are the same person, she just hasn’t bothered to learn the difference between Yuji and Yungfang and assumes that Yuji is just a nickname.
