Greetings, I’m curious as to whether I got lost in the shuffle, the order spawned on 8/14, but it has been pending since, it has not pinged my bank account yet either. Usually with my subs it pings my bank soon after the order spawns, and it takes a couple days to ship. I know things are more complex with 2e, and that I have more subs than I had with 1e and Starfinder. I’d love an update. Thanks
Aah, that makes sense. Apparently I was typing when TheAmazingRando (love the MST3K reference, by the way) was posting. I get it now. Thank you. I lucked out and have only GMed the first scenario, and everyone was level 1 / pregen, so I ran with the 6 player adjustment (6 players). Glad to see, despite my tendency to second guess myself, that I accidentally did it right.
I wouldn’t mind a refresher on that as well. I can see some pretty significant flaws in the system. For instance for a 1-4 subtier adventure if you have 5 players, levels 1, 1, 2, 3, 3 you’d end up in the high subtier with a 5-player adjustment (2+2+[3 or 4]+6+6 = 19 or 20), and if the highest level player left, it would be 1,1,2,3 giving us either low subtier with 6-player adjustment or level bump OR low subtier with 5-player adjustment and level bump. And this depends on whether we consider the level 2 player as the next lowest or next highest. (2+2+[3 or 4]+6 = 13 or 14). Even worse if we consider 4 players with two of each in the same subtier 1,1,2,2 (2+2+6+6 = 16) which should be high subtier even though none of them are in that subtier (in this example 3-4). Color me befuddled.
After each adventure, your character receives Downtime, which is a measure of their additional time between adventures. A quest grants 2 days of Downtime, a scenario grants 8 days, and a sanctioned Pathfinder Adventure or Adventure Path typically grants 24 days of Downtime. If your character is a field-commissioned agent (rather than having trained with the Scrolls, Spells, and Swords Pathfinder Schools ), they earn an additional 50% as many days of Downtime, earning 3, 12, and 36 days respectively. So, yes 50% more time, this is representative of the fewer Pathfinder Society tasks the agent has to perform, alphabetizing the Grand Archive, recruiting for the Envoys’ Alliance, polishing locks on tomb doors for the Vigilant Seal, or whale watching with the Horizon Hunters.
What about for those of us that previously had subscribed to both PFS and SFS, and now quality for both as complimentary (7 subs)? With my order history, I’ve now had 8 items ship from my subscriptions just with the last order, and 2 with the previous one. Just curious because I’m seeing that some have gotten e-mails confirming theirs. Thanks
Hi, I just got the e-mail about my order, and it looks like everything I changed over to subscription made it in except the Lost Omens world guide. It looks like it was cancelled but never re-added. Is there a way to fix this, and did I miss something in my subscriptions? I thought it was in with the Pathfinder Campaign Setting subscription, is it? Thank you,
I'm not sure if this is a problem that still needs fixing, but I started my subscription back in August, since then I have not had my scenarios in my downloads on the date of release. Each time I have had to contact customer service. I did receive the e-mail notification this time, and it does show up on my subscriptions as pending, but I can see that it has run my card for the subscription, and I was able to purchase and download a book less than a week ago. I noticed this time I didn't see as many people saying that their downloads are missing. I did see where Katina mentioned that the permissions were going out. I just hope I can get my scenarios, I do love new material.
I admit, I'm new to this whole subscription thing, but how does this work, do they just show up in My Downloads, or do I have to add them to the cart and then get the discounted price? I see that people were getting these hours ago. I haven't seen them on my downloads, also my PFS scenarios haven't shown up either. I know customer service is out due to Gen Con (wish I was there, it sounds like a blast), but is there someone other than here that I can contact? Thx. |
