Dotting. I love seeing another 5e game pop up here. I'll be creating a character in the next couple of days. As soon as I'm done I'll submit him/her for judging.

I'll look intoie playerstoPlayer's guide sometime today, but character creation might take till Sunday.
(formerly Ragnar)

Sorry, but I won't be coming along for the ride. Best of luck to you!

Hi,

since some of my ongoing PbPs came to an end, I'm interested in getting into new ones. I'm familiar with the D&D 5e rules including the PHB, MM and DMG. I already played in a 5e Mines of Madness PbP here on paizo.com and I ran Lost Mine of Phandelver with my local gaming group.

The question is if you just want to make a quick playtest or if this really is an interesting adventure through your homebrew world. If it is the former, I'm not really interested. If it is the latter, count me in.
Speaking of the gameworld: is this something of your own creation or are we playing in the Might & Magic world (where the gods are apparently from)?

Even reinstalling it didn't work...

When Grith says something about a Mimic, Vasayo instictly jumps back a few steps.

Knowledge: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14

While he might not instantly know what this thing is, he does know a warning when he hears one and that it is best to listen to your fellow adventurers.

"A Mimic you say? What is it and what can it do?"

I'm ready to go. I built an almost stereotypical rogue (without social competence that is)

Thanks! I read all the 5e rules and I'm not new to D&D/Pathfinder, just didn't do any play-by-post games until now.

I'd love to take the new rules out for a spin! I'd build a rogue/thief.

Just one remark: I'm new to pbp, so please be nice ;-)

I'm running a Kingmaker campaign since last week over at Storium.com.
I really love the Pathfinder campaign setting, but I have stopped playing using the Pathfinder RPG rules some 2 years back when our pen-and-paper round stopped (people moved away and pbp was no option for them). So Storium was a nice alternative, less rules, more storytelling. Since I crave the Pathfinder game world, I'm now looking for an additional pbp round here.

Count me in!

My favourites would be (in that order):
Jade Regent
Reign of Winter
Mummy’s Mask

Ok, that makes sense ... I think I missed my intelligence check there :-D

And one more question: How long has it taken you to play thrugh the entire play? We normally have about 2 to 3 hours long sessions. Is that enough?

I will be GMing the Sixfold Trials soon as we just kicked off the AP. I'm still not sure how well the play of the Six Trials of Arazod will work with the group and our setup.

I hope Scharlata will send me over his german translation of the play, else I have a lot of work to do ;-)

We only play about once every two weeks and use Google Hangouts and Roll20.net to do so. One of the players has some issues with his internet connection which leads to some problems understanding him from time to time. Coming together in one place is out of the question, we live too far apart.
So let's say we handle the technical difficulties, do you think (or have even tried for yourself) the play will work doing it with Hangouts and not really face to face?

I really don't like the idea of having to role the same skill check about 70 times in this AP (Perform (act) that is), so I will try to mix things up a little like suggested above.
Furthermore we are not using the Pathfinder RPG but the Fate Core Rules with some tweaks to run this AP. Does anyone have experience doing this or any other AP with Fate Rules?

I hope to get some input here on how to run this very unique second Adventure of the AP. It really has the potential to be very memorable ... hopefully in a good sense.

Very interesting and detailed characters. I'm going to use one or the other in my campaign

I was wondering what goods would be sold in the dusk market, since in my opinion only very few wares are restricted in Westcrown. As far as I know slavery is not forbidden and even drugs and other illicid materials can be legally bought in Cheliax. Is it just that the formal requirements are less here then they are for a shop midtown? Or can you think of items or services that are illegal even in an evil land like Cheliax?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I like what you did with the goblins and will try this out in our campaign. If you by now have further ideas for side quests I'd really appreciate you sharing them.
We just startet the AP and I am looking for opportunities to enrich the experience with a few side activities. I think just playing the main story line is just not going to cut it for my players.

Just started the AP with my group and I'm very thankful for your wonderful map. Thank you very much!
