"That makes sense," Malyoxa says. "I suppose it's quite telling about how I'm not really forward to dealing with this."

The drow sighs. "I do owe Toni for her kindness. Speaking of which, we should probably get ready and have our breakfast before meeting with her."

Malyoxa chuckles. "I'm not sure I'm the type to have a garden."

"I dreamt of a palace in the sky and I was tending roses there," Malyoxa says. "Very strange, but somewhat comforting."

Malyoxa murmurs softly before opening her eyes. "I was having such a peculiar dream."

Malyoxa smiles as they head back to the house.

That's my job.

"I'm okay with a lazy day at home."

We can just skip to the next day.

"Seems like we have the rest of the day to ourselves," Malyoxa says.

"She's not taking it well, huh?"

Malyoxa groans. "Toni better hurry up..."

"Only if the change is for the better."

Malyoxa nods, taking Hitome's hand and gives it a gentle squeeze. . "I figured things would go a little different myself."

Malyoxa sits at the table and lets out a small yawn. "Sorry...still getting used to daytime."

"Who wants to knock?" Malyoxa asks as the four of them arrive at the tailor's shop.

"That would be the most likely place."

Malyoxa takes her goggles out of the backpack and puts them on. "And that settles that."

"I don't think Hitome or I would mind having a little one around," Malyoxa says. "I think having a big family in one house is a nice idea."

"They're in my backpack," Malyoxa answers. "Hitome should be down any moment now."

"Just grab my backpack," Malyoxa answers. "It has everything I need if we're leaving today."

"Let's go before you two start getting lovey-dovey," Malyoxa says to Jin and Laenid.

Malyoxa shakes her head slightly as she finishes her meal.

Malyoxa smirks. "'Battle the forces of evil', eh? That sounds so cliche."

Malyoxa catches Laenid's gaze. "Fine, I'll go too. If only to make sure that everyone comes back safely."

Malyoxa shrugs. "Check in with Toni, I suppose."

Malyoxa adds some milk before adding a heaping spoonful of sugar to her coffee and stirring it in.

"Coffee," Malyoxa mumbles.

Malyoxa returns the kiss, then sighs. "Let's get going before Jin comes up here herself."

She sits up and starts getting dressed.

Malyoxa groans slightly. "I suppose we better get down there while it's hot."

She tosses the covers off of her and stretches in the bed.

"Who was it?" Malyoxa asks, slowly sitting up in bed.

Malyoxa stirs as she hears the knocking. "There's someone at the door, Hitome."

Malyoxa caresses Hitome's cheek. "Feeling a bit peckish? Maybe I should let you help yourself."

Malyoxa takes a taste of the wine. "Mmm, yes, but not as good as you."

"And to the many, many, many happy endings we'll get to have," Malyoxa says, raising her glass.

Malyoxa chuckles. "Then they won't mind what we do."

"Mmm, welcome me some more upstairs," Malyoxa whispers into Hitome's ear.

Malyoxa chuckles and follows Hitome into the house.

As they walk out into the evening air, Malyoxa leans against Hitome. She stays quiet as they reach her new home. "Should we be quiet going in?"

Malyoxa hands Ieyasu a few gold coins. "Thank you."

She turns to Hitome. "Shall we be off?"

"We'd like a bottle of wine," Malyoxa says with a wide grin. "To celebrate."

Malyoxa holds open the door to Ieyasu's for Hitome before following the paladin inside. She waves at the old man.

"Let's check Ieyasu's," Malyoxa suggests, heading toward the shore.

Malyoxa lets out a inadvertent giggle as Hitome nibbles her ear. "Shall we pick up some wine?"

Malyoxa leans against Hitome as they walk home. "We should celebrate me moving in, don't you think?"

She moves a hand to the paladin's shapely rear and gives it a squeeze.

Malyoxa nods. "Yes."

Malyoxa gathers the few things that were exclusively hers. She smiles at Hitome. "Sorry that I dragged you all the way here for just a few things I can carry myself."

"Don't do anything reckless, Toni," Malyoxa says, taking Hitome's hand. "I'm just going to get my things. You know where we'll be if you need us."

"I'm moving in with Hitome," Malyoxa answers bluntly. "Are you going to be okay?"

Malyoxa glances at Hitome briefly before going into the kitchen. She nods at Toni, sitting at the table. "What's wrong, Rajni?"

Malyoxa opens the door to the tailor's shop. "Hello?"
