I remember GM Evil was going to run Lyrics of Extinction after this, which is why I held off using Bizzle. Anyone still looking to run that?

Maldoc will again enhance his blade with the keen property with his Arcane Pool and attack again, casting ISG again. Concentration: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30 Attack: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (12) + 17 = 29 for Damage: 1d6 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16
Confirm #2?: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (13) + 17 = 30 for Damage: 1d6 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16 Spell Damage on first hit, likely the first and not the crit: 9d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 3, 2, 6, 5, 4, 1, 2) = 31

Maldoc steps back and casts Empowered Fireball, positioning it to the south so that it will hit the two undead creatures he was fighting! I don't know how tall the area marked "4" is on the map, but if I can also catch the big guy in the blast by raising up the epicenter of the spell I'll do that. Empowered Fireball, DC 16: 13d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 4, 4, 1, 6, 4, 6, 3, 4, 2, 6, 5) = 52 And that is my 1/day use of Empowered Spell.

Maldoc casts Intensified Shocking Grasp and draws from his arcane power to improve the edge of his Black Blade! He then moves to combat this new demon that has appeared on the battlefield! Swift action to use 1 of my arcane pool to place keen on my weapon. Attack: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (12) + 19 = 31 for Damage: 1d6 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18

Maldoc has a +11 to Arcana so he should be able to give you the aid you need, Sihir. A demi-plane. Interesting. Survival: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17 Maldoc finds footprints that are most likely Rijana’s starting here and wandering southward from the camp, back toward where Geb’s Rest would be in the material plane. The tracks left behind by Geb’s defenders also head back in that direction as well. Perhaps we should start in this direction.

Yes, you do weapon and spell damage with the "touch" attack, though it is vs AC. The weapon is a Black Blade and is a +3 equivalent I believe.

Maldoc casts Intensified Shocking Grasp and then takes a 5' step to attack the blue enemy! I believe I can make a full attack with just a 5' step. I never can remember how Spellstrike works exactly. Touch: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (17) + 16 = 33 for Damage: 1d8 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14

So we can't see at all? Do we know that magic is still working here? If I can still target, Maldoc will cast Fireball, centered on the two to the right of the party but still catching the tree in the blast with the idea of setting it on fire to act like a torch as a source of light. Damage: 9d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 4, 4, 5, 6, 3, 3, 5) = 38 If that is not feasible, Maldoc will simply cast Light on his sword so everyone will be able to see.

Since it was grappled I assume I can attack the proper square even though its invisible, correct? If so, Maldoc, not wanting to waste time, decides to simply use his Arcane Pool to enhance his weapon with Speed. That takes all of the +3 bonus I have. Attack: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (9) + 16 = 25 for Damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11

When I was playing online poker the answer would have been "No! Leave me be, woman!" but I didn't have a daughter. :) In all seriousness I do have a son but I learned way back when that you do need to find a balance. When you do it enhances all of the activities involved. I'm glad I learned that one early on. Now things are different. Some of you may have been GMing games in the summer so you would know that my wife passed away so I've lost that. The kid is 20 now but he still lives with me so we make time to do stuff, but for the most part I'm pretty free with my online presence nowadays. In other words, you just don't know how much time you have left until its taken away. Do it while you can.

Maldoc comes down before his ability to fly ends. He then grabs his wand for healing unless other options are used or present themselves, I just don't want to forget. Maldoc will allow the others to collect the items that are present in the room. I hope we now have in our possession what we cam for. I'm not sure how much more abuse I can take. |
