always wanted to meet some grippli :D
Preparing my usual spells, seemed to work well.

"Well then, we should not waste time, even though I much enjoy this lovely village. There will be time for this later." Majal says and slowly walks towards the ladder again, taking the road down without accepting any help once again, though her goat needs some.
The old woman was quite busy stopping Esmeralda from licking their hosts - strangly the animal felt some kind of curiosity in regards to the frog peoples' skin, and this seemed quite rude to the crone. But she didn't try to stop any biting and chewing - these are things any goat does!

Once the group has made themselves ready for further travel, Majal walks over to Graxzos, her Wayfinder in hand. [b]"Take this again my hairy friend. I do not wish to insult your jungle guide capabilities, but it helped before and we need any help posibble to catch up with these aspis scum.

She then proceeds to hold her eyes open and help as well as she can, just as her goat does - though her helping is less of the talking kind and more of the "poking into the side with her horns, doing strange noises and dragging the dwarf around with her teeth" kind.

Majal is mostly amused with the dwarves' attemts on diplomacy and just follows along quietly snickering, while the two make a fool of themselves.
She climbs the ladder without any help, though she does need a moment afterwards for her poor abused bones.

She also asks the nice grippli they met at the ground if his kind would be so nice to help her goat up, as the creature is quite adept of climbing - but not ladders.

Once in the presence of the elders, she waits a bit before speaking, enjoying the little show, but speaks up once the aspis are brought up.

"Well, here I'm hoping Valacosti is eaten by dinosaurs!" she suddenly shouts out and laughs heartily.
"But I figured there would be some task at hand here. Nobody gives away golden orbs freely. I just hope one of you boys and girls has a hand for animals in case we do encounter the 'scaly ones' in a hatched and mature state though."

Use wand of endure elements ;)

Majal looks almost as fresh upon arrival as when the group began the journey, though riding for hours took a toll on her back. With the help of her goat (using her as a stepping stone), she climbs down from her trusty horse and stretches herself, causing a cacophony of loud cracks from her back.
"Oh my. All this jungle-stumbling is for younger people." she murmurs.

She takes the grippli's hand gladly.
"Indeed, we are here because of matters more complicated than trade. We are searching for a missing friend, a mister Sharrowsmith. His notes indicate that he might have come trough here on his journeys. Call me Mama Majal, dear."

Quite exhausted from the battle, Majal takes some time to rest (healing herself in the process) and once Sharrowsmith's belongings are retrieved and the group has moved away from imminent battle, she makes sure to give some healing to everybody (healing hex on everybody)

"Oh my. That was much more violent than I had hoped for. But one cannot sit idly by as savages go about ritual murder of innocents. They should have used volunteers." she says while Esmeralda gently nibbles on her fingers.

"But at least we have a clue for what had happened here!"

Once back at the fort, she takes her time to relax a little - that is until she learns that the wretched Aspis man has ventured on as wsiftly as he did.
She springs into action at that, collecting the others, swiftly feeding her horse and presses forward.
"We cannot have this Aspis weasel beat us to this! We have to find out more about that orb first and let them stumble in the dark."

"Wait a second here." Majal says and rummages through her many layers fo cloth, finally pulling out an old scroll. She unfolds it, sending some dust in all directions and reads the spell written on it. "We don't want to go in there without understaning their lovely chants, do we? Oh and beware of the monster, it has sharp claws and likes to put them deep into bones." she says with a smile.

She follows directly behind Graxzos with a cheerful smile on her face, but puts her hand on his shoulder first and whispers into his ear. "Shoot only when they attack. Remember my poor grandson, I don't want to kill his kind if it can be avoided." she then turn around and adresses all. "Do not shoot first, we may find a less bloody solution."

I suppose after Graxzos bought that story twice already, I don't have to roll bluff again ^^

Majal looks at the spear with something of a youthful cheer. "You know little one, thirty years ago, I might have well taken that thing and used it well. I was wicked with a spear. But nowadays, I'm quite content with this stick!" with that, she hits the old masonry below her feet a few times with her sturdy stick and cackles a bit, then wanders on.
"You can drag it back to Thaia's little servant army on the other side. They can hold onto it for now."

In the ruins, Majal scowls at Yndra after hearing her little comment. "You know, religion is a funny thing. What one people holds sacred is nothing but old ruins and rubbish for another. They may have defaced an old dwarven shrine, but as I see it there were no dwarfs here to protest for ... centuries? No reason to kill the little buggers for that. Though they might well give us others."
She rummages around in the shrine, searching for other clues - her trusty goat at her side as another pair of eyes, before then coming back to the group.

With that she has a small laughing fit, her goat joining in midway.

"Well Pancho, you wait here with these gentleman." Majal says lovingly to her horse while patting the animal on its head. The bridge would surely not survive that weight.
Just as she is thinking that, Yndra calls out this very obvious fact in regards to the mule and the old woman cannot conatin a strangely amused snickering.

She wordlessly tells her goat to cross, and the animal obliges - though with a slightly shaky step, after all there are no strange slits in the floor and it doesn't shakes like this.

Once the bridge is empty again, Majal follows herself, moving very slowly. She doesn't tie herself with a rope as Yndra did though, that would useless. A fall would result in death just as surely as being smashed against the sides of the ravine, her old body would just break.
And her cards have foretold good fortune today!

"History is important indeed, but you don't need to invoke ancestry here. The statues and us two are old enough for all I care! Eh sorry I forgot, you aren't old, ha!" Majal is in a good mood after crossing the potentially deadly bridge - once again having evaded the reaper, and is about to comment further on the issue when Graxzos is pulled in the air and starts screaming ignore that last part if he didn't trigger a trap ;)

Majal whacks the sleeping dwarf harmlessly on the shoulder with her walking stick.
"Wake up, sleepyhead! Monsters don't kill themselves, you know?" she says with a grin and stumbles suddenly backwards when her old-woman instincts tingle - just in time to evate the flying plant.

"Blasted thing!" she shouts and tries to hit it with her walking stick, but the axe was faster.

Once the battle is over, she also slowly walks towards the injured woman and pats her gently on her face with a snicker, mending many of her wounds in the process.

Majal is not a morning person and it shows. While she is quite able to wake up on time, she is mostly there - eating food in silence and not doing much but following the group until much later in the morning, almost dozing off on her horse. Esmeralda is much more lively, hopping around and trying to get a bite of the others clothes, apparently unsatisfied with the meal she had gotten from her mistress.

Coming to the ruins, she looks where Yndra pointed.
"a ruin and some skeletons. Nothing fancy I think." she says with a sour face.

With a little help, Majal is able to get down the slope, muttering all the time in Varisian.
"I suppose some parts of the adventurer life are really bad for my old bones." she spits out, and Esmeralda actually has to soothe the old woman a bit before she is able to continue.

After a moment, she gestures to those who had fallen down the slope or were wounded by the cat to come near. She gently touches their wounds and puts on a very obvious show of great magics, while her fingers mend the broken flesh.
"I suppose we should wait till the light of morning before venturing on. And I could use the sleep for sure!" she say while inspecting the campsite to be.

She seems a bit more docile after having had the chance to be a bit ominous and proceeds with a fortune telling at the campfire (that hopefully will be built without her help).
She also instructs Graxzos that he shall keep her wayfinder for the journey, it will help them all if somebody who is actually qualified reads it.

As I envision it, it seems like a very shaky climb but nothing a goat or mule would find in any way offensive. The rope we got will propably suffice - changing the trees we use as anchors from time to time.
Is that correct GM? It was slightly unclear

"While it is true that we have two old women with us, we are not yet dead missy! I'm sure we can make the climb with a little help from you youngsters. And the animals will be just fine, this is nothing for them. Well Pancho may have some problems." She climbs down from her horse, pats it on the back and slowly walks to Graxzos.

Once darkness comes down on the grup, majal pulls out an old and rugged compass, which all Pathfinders should be swiftly able to identify as a wayfinder. She whispers something towards it with gentle voice and the lid begins to shine. She then gives it to Graxzos.
"Here, take this to guide us through the wilds. The night is a treacherous time, and the jungle a treacherous place.
We may need any help we can find, even from an old trinket like this one."
having said that, she winks at the dwarf and chuckles.

She then walks towards her familiar, whispering something in Esmeralda's ear and climbs up on Pancho again.

As asked, Majal comes over to the shed, looking with pity upon the poor man. "My, you are lucky we came by boy. It's best you take it easy from now on, my friend Yndra gave you enough water to get back to the fort and give a report, but make sure about your own safety first. "Might be a good idea to check that out." She shoos the young ones forward (which in her eyes includes everyone else except for Yndra), pulling out her crossbow and loading it.
"Esmeralda is getting uneasy." she adds with squinted eyes.

The Praetor's unwillingness to accept Majal as a Pathfinder of great skill gets visibly on her nerves, and she grumbling most of the day. Not much of a help anyway when the group tries to get any directions at all.
She pretty much lets the young ones do the hard work, sitting down in the marketplace with her animals and muttering about Aspis agents and their worthlessness to anyone who passes her by.

Before they embark on the journey, she does a little show to buff morales, predicting great treasures and unexpected fortune for the group
Profession (fortuneteller): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

Unlike some of the others, she doesn't care for any special clothes, instead prefering tostay scarfed with the help of her new wand.

Majal uses her wand of endure elements on herself. If anyone had asked, she might have been generous ;)

Checking if there is a natural 1 on her UMD. Forgot to do that for the trip up to now

Majal eyes Thaia disapprovingly, her gaze very much being completely anti-presentational.

"Eh you can't really go wrong here. You got Aspis backup, so anything would be better! But we have demonstrated that we have quite the capabilities, dear Praetor. We can fix this mess."

How about Bluff +10? ;)

Majal snickers - all the while enjoying her massage.
"My dear Praetor. I have seem much in my life and learned very fast that the easy and obvious path often leads too unnecessary destruction and violence. You see, I know kobolds quite well actually." She sighs, as if deeply in thought, then continues.

"Actually, I have adopted one some twenty years ago. His name was Flik, poor little guy. We found him when he was trying to steal some of our food, he was nothing but a husk then, almost starved to death." she supresses a tear and must center herself before speaking any further.
"Little Flik never knew his parents - they got killed by a bunch of Aspis folk, trying to get their filthy hands on the kobold priest's crown! And they even sold the young ones as slaves in Riddleport!" She stands up, bashes her walking staff against the floor with a loud thock and gazes upon the Aspis agent in the room with pure hatred in her eyes.
"Never even learned his mother's tongue. We caught the creature easily as he couldn't even outrun my wee granddaughter in his state. Some of our caravan were about to kill him, but I stopped them. I saw the fear in his eyes and took him in, fed him, bathed him and made sure he learned how to properly behave. My daughters even taught him how to properly steal food! Ha!" The old woman almost bursts into laughter, reliving that memory.
"I tell you, while I don't know their language and culture, I know a kobold's mind better than you propably know the mind of another human. After all, raising one of them and being mother to 7 and grandmother to more than that skunk could count" - she points at Valacosti - "I have quite the people skills. Don't you think honey?" she looks up into the charmed guard's eyes with a broad smile, then back to the Praetor.
"We will get along quite well, we and those kobolds, I can tell you that!"

Bluff: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21

Which part of the story is the bluff shall remain a mystery ;)

With a mad cackle, Majal looks towards those guards with the drawn crossbows. Mere seconds later, one of them drops his weapon and she says to him with a motherly voice and a disarming smile:
"Sweetheart, would you make this poor old lady a nice tea? I think this would be mostly delicious. And while you are at it, a neck rub would be much appreciated first."

Then, once the man begins his work on her shoulders, she looks towards the one in charge.
"Satisfied, Praetor? We have more tricks than just the foolishness and of trigger-happy young girls and stubborn dwarfs. I'm sure this can end without a bloodbath."

The Aspis representant only earns a venom-filled gaze.

I took some liberties with Majal's charm hex here ;)
Shouldn't work long enough for him to actually fetch tea - unless he decides there are worse things than helping an old lady
