Character Magga
PFS# 143586-20
Faction (if applicable) Scarab Sages
CORE or CLASSIC Core
Character Concept Magga is all offense both in and out of combat. Her AC is always less than 10, and she is incredibly forward in her pursuit of an educated man to father her children.
Roleplay/writing sampleYou have to earn it. | What's a synonym? Notes I've already played the Before the Dawn series, but could step out for those scenarios or use replays if necessary. And I have a level 6 cleric if preferred, which could be played on slow progression to start.
Magga purchased the masterwork silver warhammer from the bad guy for 402 gp, and will also enchant her halberd for 2,000 gp, then request a scroll of death ward from the Scarab Sages for 2 PP.
"If you plan to kill him secretly, remember that there is no honor in an assassination. A private duel is one thing, but poison and the like are the coward's way."
"Our chieftain once forced a rival to exile himself, by catching the rival--let's just say there would have been a very angry father and several brothers. Perhaps we could persuade Marek with enough proof of his crimes?"
"Smart enough to know the difference between a man and woman. And brave enough to stand out in the open, unarmored, among my enemies." Magga yells back, "Two things I can't say about you!"
During the hike, Magga frequently complains about Lander's inability to find a good fight, but when Tatiana asks, the barbarian gladly shows her the silver warhammer and its smithing mark.
Magga looks at Tatiana and then Darven for a moment, before placing the sword in Darven's hand. "You, at least, have earned the right to a weapon. Though I strongly suggest you keep it for yourself. Putting a blade in that boy's hands is dangerous to everybody near him, including himself."
OOC, totally fine with you giving the sword to Lander.
Magga stalks right up into Lander, literally. She forces him to back up several steps, then draws her own weapon and says, "Then take it from me. If you can."
CMD is 16, and remember his -4 penalty for being unarmed. I will forego the first AoO, but if he fails and tries again, the swordsmanship lesson begins. Halberd:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24Nonlethal:1d10 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Magga points the metal stick at Lander, "You call this a sword? Well, it ain't one. But I'm sure we can find the little boy a dagger among the bodies outside."
Clearly finished with the conversation, Magga sheathes the aldori blade in her belt, then goes back outside and begins skinning the werewolf.
Magga pokes a finger in several of her wounds, then raises her halberd overhead, about to drive it through the werewolf's heart. "Not a bad fight. Not a very good one either."
Magga is going execute the enemy if nobody stops her.
Flames licking up her legs, Magga steps over Darven's body and thrusts her halberd spike into the werewolf's neck. "Next to kill you and carve your hide into new breeches!"
Too deep into her battle lust to worry about a few burns, Magga walks right through the campfire and swipes her halberd down the werewolf's arm in a long, deep cut.
Magga takes a step back to get more momentum behind her lunge, and then thrusts the halberd spike deep into the werewolf's thigh. "Now this is the way real women fight. Last one standing gets to live!"
Magga's halberd slices open another huge cut in the wolf's hide, and then the barbarian spits into the wound while staring at the newcomer. "You're next, dog lady!"

Magga comes up behind the bandit and hits him at the base of the neck with a small, heavy sack. Then she looks down and spits on his sleeping form. "I don't trust any coward who won't fight for his freedom."
She trades the sap for her halberd and then looks at her companions. "What say we light the tents on fire, then kill everyone as they run out?"
I was supposed to have a 4-5 hour break in the middle of the day, but just picked up extra work. So today is now a 15 hour workday.
Right now I am waiting for an order, and will update as many games as possible, but if I haven't posted in Gameplay within two hours, assume no post until tomorrow.
Magga smiles at the pathetic blow to her shoulder, then puts all her weight and strength behind a massive swing at her opponent, only to whiff at empty air and spin in a circle. "Stay still you little man! And hit like a man!"
A smile on her face, Magga moves right into the thick of the fight and plants the point of her halberd inside several inches of human gut. "Let's see one of that smithy's swords do this!"
For Silgil: wand of enlarge person For Samildanach: scroll of cure critical wounds, scroll of lesser restoration (5), scroll of resist energy (5), wand of cure light wounds x2
I will need a lot of clw charges (AC<10), and want to be enlarged as much as possible.
As others start preparing for battle, Magga's heart quickens and she passes out various items to the magicians. Unfortunately, the battle doesn't arrive soon, and she returns to Silgil's side.
Magga takes Silgil's head between her hands and roughly caresses it. "You must have a giant brain inside there, to be so smart. Teach me some words that are the same, but different!"
Are his weapons masterwork quality? What about special materials and things other than swords?
Magga begins picking up weapons and testing their balance. "I did get grabbed hold of recently by a beast, and couldn't swing my halberd around to hit the damn thing. Might not be a bad idea to pick up something smaller, too."
"I see the problem. Your training didn't include any actual fights to the death, did it? That's the problem with noblemen and their pointy little things, you all just play at fighting, but never really do it."
After a moment, Magga's expression changes suddenly, "Of course, that means this lordling can't defend himself, and probably needs us to save him."
Magga walks in confidently, and quickly dismisses the metal sticks on the wall. "What do you have that will actually break some bones or sever a spine?"
"From what I've heard, this boy, Lander, has a healthy interest in the martial arts. But if he wants to become a man, he'll have to stop reading about battles and actually get into one."
Though clearly more familiar with scars than etiquette, Magga's response still comes as a surprise. "Just let him fight, and everything will sort itself. If he survives, he'll come home stronger."
Almost as an after though, she adds, "And if he doesn't, then you didn't lose anything important anyhow."
