Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

It is with great sorrow that I have to announce my temporary departure from the paizo forums.

I've had a great time playing in all the games on the forums but university and my new job has axed my free time enough that I've had to consider just how much time I can realistically spend on the forums gaming.

Rather than continue playing with very subpar posting, that I feel could be so much better if I had the time to make the posts I wish I could make, I'd rather put my own PbP games on pause and bow out of this one than continue playing at a horrible level.

I wish you all the best on your journey through the Stolen Lands and may the gods be with you.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Lyster follows suit, following in Aedon's footsteps.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

I hope we haven't lose them...

And Lyster's essentially liking taking a back seat. Being the grandpa of the group.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Still here, was waiting on a decision. Lyster doesn't like taking charge.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

"Twisted people... turning living things into weapons... I say if it ain't forged from the blood of the earth, then it ain't a decent thing to carry around."

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

"I doubt sprites would make arrows that big... aren't they supposed to be tiny little peckers?"

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Lyster gives the man a casual glance.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Lyster is content to once again wait out the situation. Glancing at the man, he gives him what he hopes is a reassuring smile.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

"Easy there Aedon. No sense in creating dissent among the ranks eh? Though Fitzroi, you could do with being a tad more gentil. Just my opinion."

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

I will be away on a trip until Wednesday. I apologize for the interruption and also hope we find a way to not go around killing every humanoid creature in the Stolen Lands.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

"It seems I may not have been forceful enough in words and alas it seems we are back to firing upon the enemy."

Crossbow Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Crossbow Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 5

Firing on again the same bandit.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

"I don't think shooting them will take them alive Rufus!"

Lyster reloads his crossbow then attempts to demoralize the bandit he has already shot.

Intimidate: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Lyster waits to see if the men answer Rufus' question. If not, he fires at the same target he did.

Crossbow Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Crossbow Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 7

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

I apologize, my work has been driving me hard recently and it seems my last post didn't manage to make it to the page. I might not have the time to post very frequently. While I read up on what I missed.

Lyster simply knocks his crossbow and stands at the ready next to Gizsmith.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Lyster bursts into laughter as the excrement hits Kari then stifles it.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Can that be my horse?

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Lyster looks at Rufus and Salvator with respect.

Anyone can handle beasts like that is bound to be able to survive well out in this wilderness.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Alright then, anyone have such a skill? DM says itd be usefule.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Lyster will continue following the group as quietly as possible...

would Handle Animal allow for the horses to be quieter?

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

And now we all go quiet... quite a difference... wonder if the gnome can take it.

Stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24 (add a +1 to this if we are considered in hill terrain)

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

"I agree, a lay of the land seems to be the right course of action. I don't want us caught in a fight we cannot win."

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

"I'm just glad it's excrement. That stuff washes off over time. Now if it were blood, we'd have hungry beasts on our tails. I prefer faerie tricks over bloody beasts any day"

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

"Didn't notice you were so wounded friend!"

Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

"There, that should help a bit."

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

As the campsite sets up, Lyster will tend to his horse and as soon as that's done, settle in for first watch.

Unless anyone wants me to take a later watch

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

"That sounds like a reasonable request. I'm fine with taking part of the watch as always."

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Lyster's face lights up with a bemused smile.

Ah for the days of youth again... I miss petty squabbling... and now fairie folk too? This gets more and more interesting by the minute

Just remove the " when you do it. ["spoiler=Giant][/spoiler]

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Rolling his eyes, Lyster draws his crossbow.

Let's leave the young'uns a chance to shine eh?

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

"I agree with both ideas, but I'll have to say I prefer backtracking along our route first. No sense heading too deep right away."

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Lyster puts a hand on Salvator's shoulder, giving him a quick smile.

"I'll take second watch friend, you rest yourself up."

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Lyster gives a hard glance at Gizsmith's horse.

If the gnome gets targeted as a mad-raving lunatic diabolist, I shall not be the one to say otherwise.

Lyster rides atop his own mount and follows the group, letting the obviously more survivalist members lead the way.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

I apologize for having been away for far too long.

"As much as my bones would enjoy rest, banditry waits for no one. I follow Rufus' choice on this one. No offense to anyone's cooking of course."

The days ahead of us will need everyone to start losing their homely ways. The River Kingdoms, especially the Stolen Lands are no place for friendly chit chat and home cooked meals. Not today at least. Only time and blood will most likely change this place...

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Just a quick post to let you know I'll be back tomorrow. Thank god for random internet spots.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

I will be going into the woods for a week or so on a camping trip. This means that I highly doubt I will have access to internet.

I apologize for this delay in everyone's gaming schedules and I hope to be back before you know it!

P.S. If bears devour me, give a short prayer to Cayden Cailean for me eh?

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Lyster will join Aedon with moving the bandit, being as careful as he can to not harm his future detainee.

In retrospect, Lyster is an Inquisitor and should anyone require the use of my abilities, I come prepared with the Interrogation spell.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Lyster grimaces at the sight and will also attempt to provide the required care.

Heal: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24

"Hang in there cur, your life ain't over by a long shot. I still got lots of things to ask you."

If there is also time, Lyster will use Cure Light Wounds on the brigand.

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

If we need to Intimidate, I guess Lyster could growl or something. Mutter in his beard... shoot dirty glares?

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Lyster stands aside, musing while watching everything that's going on, especially Aedon's speech.

I'm with a story telling troupe I swear. The gnome and his confetti and now we have an expert tale-spinner.

Lyster will help anyone who needs it in any way he can, including beating or extracting information from brigands.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Lyster will stand up from his prone position and resume putting out fires, the better to remove the most immediate danger near him.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

I also apologize or my posting rate. My current job takes up huge amounts of time, from day to dusk. If I miss too much feel free to let me know.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Round 2: Ini: 20, HP 8

Lyster, upon catching fire, rolls himself along the ground, attempting to not provoke any attacks. If able he also begins to put out the fire in front of the entrance.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

waiting on gizsmith's surprise round action to continue with mine. Since Lyster already shot one of the bandits, though, fascinate is out da window.

just soz ya'll know i'm here and keeping track.

My bad here friend, perhaps the GM would allow me to delay until after your turn?

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Round 1: Ini: 20, Max HP

"Fear not madam, I will deal with these villains."

Lyster will attempt to shoot down one of the bandits on horseback (#1)

Attack Roll: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 5

"Tough times indeed in these lands..."

Reminder to everyone else, Lyster has the following ability: Judicious Force (Su): If you or an ally within 10 feet makes a critical threat with a melee or ranged attack, as an immediate action you may add +4 to the confirmation roll. This does not stack with the Critical Focus feat. 3/day

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Initiative 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20

Waiting on an answer to Aedon's question as well.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Huzzah!

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Lyster remains in the stables after seeing that Salvator is much more capable of managing horses. The blinding lightning Fort Save: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30 has absolutely no effect on him and the deafening thunder 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15 neither.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26

Seeing Oleg laid low to the ground, Lyster will look around for anything to use to protect himself, be it a shield or a large plank of wood. Regardless if he finds anything though, he goes outside to aid in Oleg's rescue.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Lyster aids Rufus in making sure all the animals are well secured in their stalls and remain calm.

Panicking animals is not something we need in case of bandits...

Handle Animal: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Lyster takes watch of the outpost entrance from inside the building by watching through the windows, his crossbow loaded and ready for combat.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
Stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

"While I thank you for the offer, I'll have to pass. It is not in my custom to drink very heavily... certainly not on the job."

He looks over at Gizsmith.

Well it appears that another gnome proves my point. I'll have to see to Javed about our bet.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

And I'm back after losing my laptop for 3 days... not the right timing either. I apologize ahead of time for the delay.

Male Human Inquisitor 1 -- hp 10/10, Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +5, Init +3, Perception +7, AC 18, Touch 14, Flat-footed 14

Whispered to Salvator:
"Don't mind my friend. Sometimes, just waiting and listening is the rightful choice. Means you can't make a fool of yourself."
