With a stoic face, Lorkan tucks away the scroll and draws the scimitar as the cleric prepares to join the inevitable fray.

Assuming the last spell went off on Gilbert With the half-spent scroll in hand, the cleric of Sarenrae approaches Thallan, and offers him a touch of divine guidance as he keeps an eye out for injuries to his allies.

Finally, Lorkan reaches his destination. He stops past the fallen body, making sure he's between the comrade and the enemy fire. Once there, he takes a glance at Uther's breathing, and sighs in relief that the man is not yet dead.

Lorkan frowns at the sound of the arrows. "Perhaps it's time I invest in some longer ranged weapons." He stays close to Thallan, ready to supply him more divine guidance from Sarenrae.

However, upon seeing the flames ignite, Lorkan instinctively calls forth water to help douse the fire.

SA: Create Water on the fire. I put Thallan behind the first wagon for cover and somewhere where he can return fire, and Lorkan next to him. Lorkan will try to put out the fire on the second wagon with his water.

He looks about for signs of the logical leader of the group. "Hmm, I have not seen him of late. Perhaps he is busy with the local leaders."

Quick check with the DM (GM?): someone I'm in a campaign with is doing a Wrath of the Righteous with gestalt. This being my first time, I want to make sure I don't ruin the experience for myself by being in it twice at the same time (I think my brain would explode from having two visions of the story running in my mind). Will we see a lot of what happens in the Wrath of the Righteous story here?

Has Lorkan been so quiet as to escape your attention? We are four, although I am trying to rework Lorkan. I have come to the conclusion that Forrest's personality is too difficult to play for an amateur like me. (I get a feeling of deja vu, like I've thought this before)

Going to think about reworking it a little while keeping the character concept intact.

So, Shandor, Ivan, Thallan, Lorkan. We're missing skills with Pash gone, but surprisingly have arcane, muscles and healing covered. We're close to being able to journey on (although if another 100 orcs come rushing down on us...I kid, I kid).

I liked Iscarel. I was going to have Lorkan keep pinning the heir title and leader of party on him, and see how long I can make that last. I'll miss you both.

I see it's Ivan that has gone rather quiet...I liked him too :(

Lorkan wakes, interrupted by the bombardment. As he steps out to look about, he sees chaos. The cleric stops the nearest person and inquires. "Anything I can do to help? Who's in charge?

Lorkan buckles down and helps with the setup. He nearly chuckles as the teamster's jab at Jasmalus coincides nearly perfectly with Shandor's quickened pace to join Thallan in the explorations of the fort. "What did the orcs take away?" Lorkan asks in passing as the group worked on, trying to make small talk to pass the time while finding out what the caravan lost in the conflict.

With the graves done, Lorkan rejoins the party. He looks at Jasper and tries to envision what the experience would be like, but fails miserably, the puzzled look clearly reflected on the cleric's face.
