Loren casts Detect Magic
"Not sure exactly how powerful it is, but it is magical." he says when he looks at the mace.
"Maybe we should just leave any more cabins we find alone."
Loren circles around the house to bring the combat into view.
Loren runs back down to the front door of the shack, only to see that the Witch didn't appear. "The Witch flew off somewhere else!!!" he shouts.

Loren temporarily enchants his spear using Arcane Strike and stabs at the ghost.
Loren moves 30 feet down the front porch to the corner of the house to open up a line of sight to the hag. "And more ice!" he cries out. He casts Flurry of Snowballs to cover the hag in pelting ice and snow.
"We can try ice...." Loren moves up to the door and hurls a frozen snowball at the undead. (touch attack)
"It looks like some sort of spirit!" Loren protects himself with a mirror image spell.
It is tough trying to figure out if we should kick down the door, knock, or just leave.
"We should knock and tell them we're here." Loren says. "Peeking through the windows of their house might seem rude and hostile."
Loren winds up with his right arm as if to throw something at the bear. As he releases, a ball of frozen snow appears and flies through the air to strike it. (touch ac)
Loren steps forward to clear his sightline and unleashes a cone of blasting snowballs at the giant bear.
Loren jumps down from a wagon and casts Mirror Image on himself.
"How much traffic is there on this route?" Loren asks. "Shouldn't we blend in with the rest of the traffic?"
Loren throws a ball of frozen ice at the bulette and then steps closer to threaten it with his longspear. (touch attack)
"Look what's coming for dinner!" Loren shouts. "It's a bulette. It's faster than it looks and it's got a nasty bite." He jumps down from the wagon and casts Mirror Image on himself.
”Glad to pitch in and lend a hand!” Loren says as he helps with the canvas.
"I think we should avoid any giants if we can." Loren says.
"I'll look around in the hut." Loren offers. He steps inside to look around.
"Let's check if someone is there." "I've never seen a sled house like this. I wonder what pulls it?"
"Do people live up here?" Loren asks, surprised at the sign of habitation.
"I'm not a scholar, but I'll be glad to share what I know about magic." Loren answers Ayame. "My power comes from the blood of one of my distant ancestors. As time goes by, I feel I will become more and more like my distant ancestor."

Then he takes one hand off his spear and pulls out his elemental rod.
Loren steps forward and jabs at the yellow buffalo.
"Maybe this new spear is faulty..."
Coincidentally I just moved to Texas last week. Finally getting internet and past the storm delays.
Loren jams his longspear into the snow, lowers it towards the bison, and braces it in preparation for them to charge.
Loren casts Mage Armor on himself and moves behind Tahata with his new Longspear.
"Eager to see the far north."
"While you guys do that, I'm going to buy myself a spear." Loren says. "Just in case I have to stab enemies over Durian's shoulder in the future."
"Nice work!" Loren says as he examines the items in the packages.
Ayame, if you are looking for input on gear to buy: Amulets of Natural Armor (including the wolf)
I would prioritize a metamagic rod for Loren over the magic weapon. We need to change his weapon to a Longspear so that I have some reach in a fight. If I can't blast, then our ranged output drops dramatically.
@GM Red Box: Does Loren's Cold Resistance 5 protect him enough to skip on endure elements? @Ayame: Everyone having a magic weapon is probably a good idea.
"Do we know how much money we collected?" Loren asks.
"I think I need a nice long spear. The world is probably full of narrow passages and tiny rooms. If I had a good long spear, then I could stab past whoever is in the front." Loren says.

"We can get back to civilization and speak of such things." Loren says.
"We need to get out of this place quickly, before that Ogre Mage returns to seek revenge." Loren suggests. "Get out, find someplace to hide ourselves, then rest up, recover, and plan our next steps."
Lorn stays on guard behind the others, but can't really do anything from where he is.
Loren pulls out a flask of alchemist's fire and squeezes through to stand behind Maitoh.
"I say we finish this." Loren says. "We don't know if the Ogre-Mage plans to seek reinforcements and return to attack us."
"I am for freeing the wolf, perhaps he will find the ogre mage we just battled on his way out." Loren says.
"It's true, we are not here for you, White Wolf." Loren says.
"Much appreciated." Loren says to Ayame. "Hopefully we won't be ambushed again."
