It looks like I might be able to apply credit for playing tier 4-5 with a pregen directly to Cazlin right now. I'm seeing this line in the Guild Guide:

You can apply credit from a higher-tier adventure to a

1st-level Roleplaying Guild character. When doing so,
reduce the gp reward to 500 gp if the adventure grants
1 XP or 1,398 gp if it grants 3 XP. You do not benefit
from any boons until your Roleplaying Guild character
reaches the minimum level listed on the Chronicle
sheet, unless otherwise noted.

Since he's still 1st level, it should apply. I'm not sure if you need to write anything specific on the chronicle sheet to show that its being applied to a 1st level character, but please do so if its needed.

As Lini leaves the museum, she stops to pat the head of a slightly forlorn looking, stuttering halfling waiting with his bow outside the entrance. "The big kids have taken care of this one Caz. Maybe you should go looking for another mission from Mr. Hestram. Good luck!"

She waves to the halfling and then to the rest of the party. "Droogami and I have important work to do, but she says it was fun fighting with you and she'd be happy to do so again. Catch you all again later! Ciao!"

Lini pats the surprisingly talkative curator on the back. "Well its a good thing that you didn't get sacrificed then! Let's get you somewhere safe, I think there's a Venture Captain whose name ends in 'Estram' who'd love to talk to you. Something about working together with the wonderful Society that just saved your life and your museum too." She pushes him gently forwards towards the more social members of her group, and then heads towards Droogami.

"Nice work girl! Lets get on out of here! Maybe we can help some of those escaped apes get to safety?" She rubs the leopard on the back of her neck.

Lini breathes a long sigh of relief. "Haa, that was close! I hate to think how it would have gone if I was still pretending to be a weak halfling archer!" She watches the apes as they head on out to relative freedom. "Hope all of them are able to make it out of the city rather than into the hands of some fiendish zookeepers!"

She heads on up the ziggurat to help Nigel to his feet. "What happened Nigel? Did those idols do this all on their own?"

Lini breathes a sigh of relief as Coreguy takes out the massive ape. "Only one left then! Droogami, its up to you and that rock spirit!" Meanwhile, since there is only a single enemy left, Lini focuses on healing Travail and getting him back on his feet. She swishes her wand of cure light wounds and taps him with it.

CLW wand: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 :>

She reaches down and wraps an arm around him to help pull him to his feet. "Up you go! Uh, part of the way at least!" As soon as he's partially up, it becomes clear that she's too short and too weak to help much more!

Lini nods uneasily at Khellek's suggestion "I can try, if you can help Travail..."

All my 2nd levels are already spent, so it'd be for another low-powered eagle. Not sure if Lini's better off on wand duty.

Oh, wow. Alright, time for triage.

Seeing that Nigel is turning rabid and Travail has taken a critical blow, Lini circles around the ziggurat and hops down to ground level. She fumbles for a moment and then pulls out a wand of cure light wounds!

"Droogs! Keep it busy! We need to save Travail!" Attack trick vs. the ape. I don't think Droogami has much of a chance to pierce the hardness of the idols...

With the Tik Taan clearly running the show, Lini sends the flaming sphere chasing after the yellow idol once again. "Stay still and burn you tricky little thing!"

Flaming sphere: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 3) = 9 Reflex DC 15 negates

Unable to do anything about the ropes herself, she mimes out biting and tearing at the ropes to Droogami, trying to push the leopard into action.

Handle Animal to push: 1d20 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 10 + 4 = 16

But it seems Droogami doesn't understand her at all. She changes tactics and instead sends Droogami back into the fray with a quick attack command! "Nevermind Droogs! Attack that ape!" Free action for an attack trick

Climb the ziggurat: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (15) - 2 = 13

Despite her short, spindly arms not being very good for climbing, Lini manages to scramble up the ziggurat to get to Nigel. She eyes the bonds the hold him and weighs the sickle in her hand. They look a lot tougher than she expected. "Droogs, come up here. We've got a problem that claws can solve!" Free action for come trick

While Droogami makes her way over, Lini surveys the battlefield from her perch and redirects the flaming sphere to the yellow Tik Taan, hoping to immolate the idol before it can affect Travail again.

Flaming Sphere vs. Yellow: 3d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 4) = 12 Reflex DC15 negates

Wow, how much HP does this ape have!?

Lini directs her flaming sphere to follow after Da'Tunga, leaping up into the air and then dropping onto the ape's face! While the sphere moves, she jogs up the altar to get to the bound Nigel. She pulls out her sickle as she moves.

Flaming Sphere: 3d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 2) = 8 DC15 Reflex negates

Lini's attention is caught by the strange object hiding among the apes to the east end of the room. She extends a finger at it, drawing everyone's attention to it with a "That... bony face! Over there! Its moving!"

Not clear to me what *kind* of object this really is based on the description.

Lini steps on into the room, notes the unusual features of the elf on the altar, and calls out "Quick! Nigel's already starting to transform!" But with the other massive danger in the room, she also adds "Droogs! Attack that monster ape!"

Free action to direct with a trick, so...

Lini focuses on the ape and calls out "Elemental spirits of flame and ash! I need your aid! Help me bring this madness to a close!" with a swish of her fingers she casts Flaming Sphere, manifesting it right above the massive ape!

Flaming sphere damage: 3d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 2) = 10 Reflex DC15 negates

Perception: 1d20 + 12 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 12 + 3 = 35 Gotta waste my 20s :>

"I hear it too Travail..."

Lini reaches over to Coreguy and puts a hand on his back. "Alright, you're going to take the lead right? Let me lend you the strength of a mighty bull to make up for those flabby arms." She grins, obviously teasing. With her free hand she tosses a few bull hairs into the air and invokes her magic.

Bull's strength for 4 minutes, +4 ENH bonus to STR

"I'm ready to follow after you. Droogami is too, aren't you girl?"

She also nods at Khellek "I'd be happy to tell you all about Droogs after we get out of here. But right now, lets see if we can get that elf off the altar."

"Oh, thank you Kyra!" Lini rubs behind Droogami's ears as the leopard regains its full strength.

She turns her attention to the scaredy-cat watchman, rolling her eyes "Alright, alright, stop crying. You're a night watchman not a baby. Heck, the babies of animals in the wild don't go about crying either."

Seeing that they're about done here, Lini beckons to Droogami and heads on out into the previous room. She runs through what gear she has left and shrugs. "Shouldn't we get going before another animal being driven crazy goes ahead and makes Nigel a snack?"

Lini cries out in fear for her snow leopard, but her fear is quickly abated by Coreguy finishing the beast. She runs forwards and throws her arms around Droogami.

After a moment to check the leopard's wounds, she looks over at Kyra "Do you think you could heal her, Kyra?"

Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (19) + 12 = 31

Once Droogami's immediate well-being is taken care of, Lini glances around the room. "Oh, this is... this is horrible. The crazed crocodile got to one of the staff before we could help. Uh, you there." She points at the still-living man "You need to get out of here before you turn back into an ape. And what are the keys for?"

Lini shakes her head, clearly frustrated. "Not while its already enraged Khellek! Maybe if I had the right spell... but I don't. We have to knock it unconscious."

Holding with Lini this round.

Lini shakes her head sadly at the massive alligator. "Another victim of the mist... It looks like we've got no option but to kill this poor guy. Droogami, don't let up!"

Nice sneak!

KN Nature vs. Ape-like creature: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24
KN Nature vs. Sewer monster: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20

Lini peers through the doorway and lets out a "By all that's green and growing, what's brought an alligator in here!?" Shaking her head to focus on the more pressing threat, she points right at the ape-creature. She calls out "Droogami, give that one a good bite! Attack!"

She draws and uses her wand of magic fang once again on Droogami to enhance the snow leopard's already powerful jaws!

Lini sheds a tear for the heroic Socrates, giving him a thumbs up for his efforts to defend the party. The hawk gives out a single caw and then vanishes back to the First World.

She rubs Droogami's head and whispers to the snow leopard. "Next time Droogs, next time."

With her animal friends acknowledged, Lini follows the rest of the group. She cocks her head to the side as she strains to hear the cackling that Kyra and the others mention. "Ah, I hear it too. I don't think its coming from in here. Its something loud enough to be heard through the walls... I think."

"Nigel, are you in here?"

Even if she doesn't here a response, Lini takes some time to search through the room for any sign of the curator's presence, or anything he may have left behind before being transformed.

Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32

"This blighted thing is awfully persistent!"

Lini scowls up at the creature evading the noble Socrates. She once again whips her wand of produce flame through the air to generate a feeble-looking ball of fire in her hand.

"Want me to try to call Socrates off Travail? Might get you a clearer shot."

Sorry, busy day at work today!

Lini pumps a fist in the air, calling out "Go Go Socrates! Show them the fury of the wild!" in gnomish. For her own part, she tosses the flame she generated last round right at green (if he's still up) or yellow otherwise.

Produce Flame, throw: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Produce Flame damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

The wobbly fireball whirls through the air, seemingly far from its mark.

Lini completes her invocation and suddenly an eagle springs into existence next to Droogami! She follows the spell up with another swish of her wand of produce flame, generating an additional handful of fire to toss at the monsters.

She calls on up to the new eagle with a boisterous "Go Socrates! Tear them up, little guy!"

With Khellek's warning spurring her to greater action against the flying monstrosities, Lini focuses inward and begins an incantation. "O spirits of the wild, defenders of the natural order and bearers of strength and swiftness. Guardians of all that is true and whole! A blight lies before us. I call upon you, lend us your aid!" Sacrificing an entangle spell to cast Summon Nature's Ally for an eagle. It'll show up at the beginning of next round.

She stares upwards at the vargouilles as she continues her chant.

Jeez, I forgot druids have spontaneous spell conversion. Well, better late than never.

Countersong saves the day!

Lini raises a flame-toting hand and send a tiny fireball jetting at one of the vargouilles (blue if still up, red otherwise).

Produce Flame vs. touch AC: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Produce Flame crit confirm vs. touch AC: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14 Maybe?
Produce flame damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Crit bonus damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

She snaps her fingers at the creatures after striking one with her flame, calling out "Take that you ugly iron helmets!" with gusto. Without moving from her position, she pats Droogami's back and says "Keep at it Droogs, don't let them come near!"

"Droogami, you've gotta kill them before they can touch you!" she looks into the leopard's eyes, realizes that this might be too far for her friend, and instead says "Defend me and Kyra!" Free action to use defend trick.

Lini steps up to Kyra (5ft step) (hoping for safety in numbers) and then both draws and uses her wand of produce flame to spark a fire in her left hand. She readies herself to throw it at the monstrous vargouilles.

Awesome rolls Khellek! Vargouilles are nasty.

Lini's attention is drawn upwards and she visibly recoils from the foul creatures. "You don't need to tell me twice Khellek! I'm going to keep well away!"

Lini puts her hands on her hips and looks up at the various animals. "Disgusting. What some humans do to show their dominance over nature. You think so too, right Droogami?" She shakes her head at the leopard, who responds with a look of confusion for her charge. "Well, not much we can do. Maybe give this Nigel a talking to after we find him!"

"Khellek, are these ones going to jump out at us as well? More undead raised by the mist?" She stares at each of them in turn, as if daring them to spring to life.

Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22

To Coreguy's comment, Lini answers "If I can read maps, and I can mind you, it's the one straight ahead." She points to the western door.

Lini retrieves a scroll case from up on top of the cabinet and while the rotund scribe continues blabbering she opens the case up. She blinks in surprise and offers an appreciative "Oooooh" for the labeled scrolls inside. She pulls the scrolls out and shows them off to Kyra, Khellek and whoever else looks interested. "I can use these if we get into a pinch!"

As soon as the scribe leaves, she heads on over to Khellek and looks around his side to peer at the weird cloth. "You think you can do something with this Khellek? What's it for? Will it stop Droogami from turning into a monster ape? Please tell me yes." She grins hopefully at the leopard.

She also pats the recently revived scribes on the back and encourages them to make haste for the exit and bring word of what is happening in here out.

When Travail suggests the Beasts exhibit next, Lini nods in approval. "Hopefully a lot fewer undead that way. Though maybe more crazed animals? We should be on our guard."

Lini eyes the fat man and then the cabinet and then back to the man, mulling over whether they'd all be better off if he was back inside. She shares a look of suffering with Droogami. "That 'cat' can wear whatever scarf she wants, thank you very much. I'd guess it'd be easier to fit one around her muzzle than around yours." Lini twitches her nose in irritation. This rotund fellow they've rescued doesn't sit well with her either.

Leaving the man to be questioned more by the rest of them, she checks the room, focusing most of her attention on the two large apes that appeared to have been driven mad.

Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14 Nopers

Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32

"Oh wow! Not all of them were transformed people like that first human! Look at how the ape you just finished isn't transforming back Coreguy!" Lini, despite her instincts, is curious about what's going on here. "Kyra, think you can heal that guy?" She points to the (red-marked) human that just transformed from being an ape.

Meanwhile she also gets Droogami's attention and calls out "Go Droogami! Lets bring that other ape back to its senses. Attack!" Free action attack trick vs. Mist tainted human, blue.

For her part, Lini swishes her wand of produce flame and generates a fire in her hand to throw next round.

"Nigel might've gotten himself trapped in that horrid metal torture device in the back there! We've got to free him!" Lini points at the metal cabinet.

She follows up by tapping Droogami and saying "Protect the guy up front Droogami!" Free action to direct to use the defend trick on Coreguy. She then stows her wand of magic fang and draws the wand of produce flame to follow Khellek's advice.

Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23
She lets out a gasp "These aren't real apes! The mists must've transformed some humans into beasts." She points at the silvery mist leaving the body of the dying ape creature.

KN Nature: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24

Lini's brow creases "How terrible! There are two gorillas up there, but they're being driven mad by something. Maybe the mist! I don't think I can get through to them." She puts a hand on Droogami as the leopard becomes tense. "I think they're out for blood. Be ready!"

Lini pulls the twig of Magic Fang back out and swishes it through the air. With a tap of the wand on Droogami's tail, she imparts the spell to enhance her jaws for a second time. Out loud she calls "Droogami, defend!" (Free action to instruct Droogami to defend herself/the party without moving)

Lini follows Coreguy in, stepping carefully around the glass. She attracts Droogami's attention with a quick hand signal and the leopard follows her into the room as well.

"Spooky. Kyra, I sure hope your Sarenrae has more ways to put down undead, because this looks awfully haunted!"

She looks around the room for any sign of Nigel.
Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23

But her attention is quickly drawn towards the ceiling instead. "Ah! An animal, in here? That isn't Nigel, is it?" She immediately starts to make soothing noises to try to calm it down before it chooses to do something dangerous.

Wild Empathy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

Lini hops over and throws her arms around Droogami's neck "Great biting girl! You'll have to show 'em the claws next time!" while Droogami snuffles and sniffs unhappily in an attempt to get the foul odor out of its nostrils. She pats the snow leopard apologetically on its back.

"If we're feeling better, lets go on. I'd be happy to be out of this unnatural place earlier rather than later." She tries the door towards the office to the north. "D'ya think that Nigel got trapped in here by those undead?"

I'm really confused Travail, how are you getting two attacks after moving?

Lini dives into her bundle of twigs and pulls out one twig that looks a bit more like a wand than the others. With a flourish, she waves it and touches it to Droogami's hindquarters with a single syllable of sylvan ringing from her mouth. "Droogami, keep it up! Show these things what you're made of! Attack!" Move to draw wand of magic fang, standard to activate and touch Droogami, free to direct to attack.

One thing I'm not sure about since I don't use pregens very often: do you have free use of their consumables, or do you have to pay the equivalent cost of anything you use using your chronicle gold?

I may or may not have chosen to play Lini on the sole basis of loving the particular art for her in the avatar I currently have chosen. And now that I look at her prepped spells, she doesn't have too many that are applicable indoors.

Droogami's AC is 20 with barkskin, so unless something else is at work here, the 19 from the ghast's bite attack is a miss? Sorry to gum up gameplay with more OOC stuff.

In fact, not only was it not a halfling fighter with a bow, but it was a gnome standing on a snow leopard! Amazing what a long coat and a bit of makeup can accomplish! :P

Lini hops off Droogami and adjusts the (previously purchased) scarves across her own face and Droogami's as well. (hope that's OK!) Satisfied, she calls out "OK! Time to get serious! Droogami, get him!" She points right at the horrible ghast. (free action, attack trick, with +10 skill bonus it succeeds even on a 1)

She makes a quick swirling motion with her hands before laying one on Droogami's shoulder. She clearly enunciates "O' ancient groves, let your sturdy bark shield this protector!" Casting barkskin.

Conveniently, there are prewritten BBcode pregens! Lini is ready to go. Let me know if you'd like to do any kind of in-character switchout or if I should just start posting.
