Lincoln will stay and scout the area out, while the others are gathered and rendezvoused... Just the general area, watching the coming and going and activity for anything suspicious, or to check if the site is being watched. He'll also try to determine if they are being watched of followed. I don't have my books. How do I roll for Awareness again. (1d20+1d4?)

Lincoln looks at the child, a look of puzzlement on his face, as if he didn't expect the child to ask such an adult question. "Your father is dea... definitely on our list for finding... In fact he's very high, quite possibly at the top of our list for finding... and... Would you like some Ice cream?". If there are double doors between the rooms like in modern hotels, Lincoln will unlock his, and knock gently on the connecting door. If not he'll stick his head out and see presumably Lig-Tu. "Let me see if my friends are over here, and then we'll send someone for Ice Cream... What kind do you like"? I'll be on a week long business trip, but should still be able to post from the hotel. Don't let me hold things up if not however, and feel free to DMPC my character.

"All of you have your own particular odor if you ask me. Does anyone know anything about this place? I believe we find an affordable, but discrete hostel, get a couple of rooms, and wait to hear back from the girl's mother. The police will probably only complicate things, and somehow we'll end up in jail". We need to check on procuring passage to Port Royal, and determine how we're going to pay for it... hopefully the girls mother wants her back bad enough to help out. We should probably keep a close watch out as well, and try to be stealthy as we don't know if the man we thwarted worked alone or not, and it's obvious that this is a pretty important thing to someone".

Not sure if universal ID's exist or anything. If they exist Lincoln would ask for them to be presented, and that nothing is happening till the proper authorities are contacted for resolution. "Oh Dear! I hope this situation doesn't turn unpleasant. I believe we can sort this all out, with a simple identification check. If everything matches up we'll be good to go. If not... well then we might have a problem".

Lincoln emerges from the shuttle fashionably late and sees the people he has met either abducting, or helping a little girl, and decides to get involved. After getting the scoop... "Ah! I see little girl. Why were you and he here, and where and when did you last see him? Never fear for LINCOLN KENNEDY is here to save the day".

Lincoln takes an extra 20 minutes after arrival to make sure every hair is in place, and that his outfit is without a wrinkle. Never know who you'll run into, and those tabloids are ruthless with any fashion faux-pas. He then emerges into the Lighthouse pausing at the ramp a bit and looking both ways his ever bright smile gleaming, as he takes measure of the place... and if anyone recognizes him.

Lincoln listens nonchalantly to the exchange. Normally all this tech-rubbish bored him to tears. He could push buttons, and open menu's, but if it required anything beyond usage... well... that was for others to explore. He does liven up a bit at the captain proclaiming that the drinks were on him. "Well tally-ho then. Let's get this show on the road".

"Well I've been known as a fantastic shot, but am certainly willing to share the limelight with others". Lincoln takes up position in the middle of the group, his eyes peeled for danger. 1d4 ⇒ 1 Notice
But finds a reflective surface, and can't seem to take his eyes off the dashing figure staring back at him.

Seeing that positioning the ship might be more critical than trying to shoot things at the moment, Lincoln jacks in, and turns to Rio. "Lot's of things going on there Cap. Let me see if I can help you smooth things out a bit". 1d4 ⇒ 2 Piloting
As Lincoln's hands reach for the controls, he realizes that he better not touch anything.

Lincoln decides to switch back to the more fun heavy lasers when he sees the heavy cannons weren't as effective. Targeting the less damaged Longbow. "Whoopy Ki yi ay". 1d6 ⇒ 2 Shooting Total of 14 to hit
4d10 + 1d6 ⇒ (2, 9, 6, 1) + (2) = 20 Damage

Let me switch over to the Auto-Cannons and see if I can create a little confusion. They are already on the ground, so not as much fun. Lincoln will shoot one autocannon shot at each of three targets in range. 1d6 ⇒ 1 Shooting #1 Miss
1d6 ⇒ 3 Shooting #2 Hit
1d6 ⇒ 4 Shooting #3 Total of 11, Hit with raise

You might want to use a benny and re-roll that Astrogation Roll. Also, don't forget that dice can explode, so you can roll another d6 and add to your Pilot Skill roll. 1d6 ⇒ 3 Shooting
4d10 + 1d6 ⇒ (9, 10, 10, 4) + (3) = 36 Damage Total damage of 53!

Lincoln is busy in the ship hold, sketching and measuring the compartment, figuring out ways to perhaps add hidden compartments, and storage area's when he gets the hailing. Oh well then... another time. He then hustles to the bridge to hear the others conferring. "I guess we should share our logs. We should really look into either buying or developing another less... revealing set of logs for situations like this. I'll add it to my list. "We weren't going to be able to do this on our own anyway, so we might as well tie ourselves to the big dogs. Maybe we're small enough, that we can sneak in and steal a prime apple or two, before the buffet begins. Let's play along for now".

Dotting. Lincoln likes to be referred to as a privateer :-). My character has to date not stayed in any one place for too long. He's either got bored and moved on, or had to leave under dire circumstances. He feels he's finally found a home with this motley crew. Never boring, and at least it's some familiar faces to run away with. DM: Any chance you could go ahead and start the game thread. If I post a dot there it shows up on my campaigns page, and I don't have to go looking for it in the recruiting thread to see if there are any updates. |
