What time is the kiosk opening?

Hello all!

Since I am running the Pathfinder Playtest Demo from 10-6 each day of GenCon, I thought that I would start a thread for feedback from it.

The scenario is a short little quest intended to help teach newcomers an overview about how combat works in the Pathfinder Playtest. Although a bit plot-lite, it does a great job showing newcomers how the new action economy works in the Playtest. I love how it opens up new strategic options, while still being fairly simple to learn. We all got good at counting to three, and it was fascinatng watching new players play with the three action system, and seeing how excited they got from the non-20 crits!

Learning all the weapon special abilities was exciting, and made the game play very differently as the characters tried out different weapons and abilities in their arsenal.

Did you play or GM a demo scenario this weekend? What are your thoughts on it?

Does Defender of the Society trait from Shattered Stars Players Guide AC trait bonus count for touch and when flat footed?

I am recruiting one or two players to round out a group for a Pathfinder campaign I am starting up. My group currently has 3 player(ages 25-30, two of my friends and my wife). We are all new to Pathfinder, but we have been playing pen and paper RPG's since the early 90's. I would like for the player to be age 21+, but that is not a requirement. One of out players is a Sheriff's Deputy so we will not accept any type of criminal activity (drugs, underage drinking, ect.)

Times: Weekly game played on alternating Mondays and Wednesdays, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Where: In my home in the Apollo Beach Area

Style: I will be mostly running published adventures. I will be starting with the pathfinder modules around Falcon's Watch. As a GM I try to not be pushy about your characters. If you want to play an androgynous gnome barbarian with limp that is cool with me. I try to keep meta-gaming GM calls to a minimum. For example, I don't fudge dice rolls, but I don't mind bending the rules or giving modifiers if it makes sense. My group is not interested in doing any regular Pathfinder Society play at this time. We will likely only play pathfinder society when people can't show up to the regular campaign but people still want to play.

I wish they would have focused on some more socially competent people. The just want to make a film to show a bunch of losers living in a fantasy world.
